Chat soon, Ali, Cam, & Morgan @girlstalktoomuchpod
Hi all! Ali here (crying and screaming and all in my feels) for the new Fearless (Taylor's Version) that came out today. What a time to be alive. If there's anyone who can save 2021, it's Taylor. Figure out with my just how legal it was for her to re-record this album, what my fave songs are, and the new-found appreciation I have for songs I slept on back in 2008 (8th grade Ali was truly uncultured in the world of Swift lyricism). Hope you love this episode and brb while I go back to listening to this album on repeat.
xx-- Ali

In today's episode, Lindsey & Ali have an open forum and discussion based on Netflix's new documentary "The Social Dilemma is a 2020 American docudrama film directed by Jeff Orlowski and written by Orlowski, Davis Coombe, and Vickie Curtis. The film explores the rise of social media and the damage it has caused to society, focusing on its exploitation of its users for financial gain through surveillance capitalism and data mining, how its design is meant to nurture an addiction, its use in politics, its effect on mental health (including the mental health of adolescents and rising teen suicide rates), and its role in spreading conspiracy theories such as Pizzagate and aiding groups such as flat-earthers." — via Wikipedia
This is an important conversation that you definitely want to join in on if you're a social media user (which is probably you...)
Next week stay tuned for Part II

Alright GTTM Gang, it's time we (well Lindsey) sits down and dishes out all things Instagram; the good, the bad and the ~unseen content~. It's not a shock that Instagram has yet again changed their algorithm, but this time it's just hittin' differently on all accounts. In this week's episode, Lindsey takes over for her first solo episode and talks about all things Instagram. From why you aren't seeing your BFF's content, to why all the influencers you follow keep sharing stories about how instagram's new algorithm, YET AGAIN is messing a lot up, to how to plan out time from your busy week to keep up with content creating.
We get it GTTM fam, this is beyond discouraging to hear and to see, but tune into this episode to get Lindsey's inside tips and tricks on how you can maintain good engagement amist the decline of social media interaction.

We're a littttttttle late to this ugly location photoshoot challenge but we had an absolutely blast trying to battle it out with our photo skills. On today's episode Ali & Lindsey each have to take photos of the other person in three randomly selected "ugly locations", edit the photos, and showcase them to the other person to see if their photography skills could turn the location from drab --- to fab!
In today's episode, Ali & Lindsey tested our Bumble Boost for one week and give you their unfiltered thoughts on whether it's worth the spend to find a significant other. What are the perks of the upgrade on the app? Is it easier to navigate? Were any of our matches successful in landing us into consistent conversations with people?
Hey Thursdayyyyyyy, how are ya!? Today's episode, Ali & Lindsey discuss the ever-growing narcissism epidemic and why we're all so obsessed with external validation. Why are we so dramatic with our self-worth? Either we're praised and adored ~or~ complete failures. What happened to being average and loving who you are? Stay tuned as we dive deeper into the effects of social media—- the good, the bad, and the narcissistic ugly...

On this week's episode, Ali & Lindsey discuss what holds some of us back from finding relationships. Should our significant others be our BFF? Are we honestly going to LOVE everything about them or do we need to just pick and choose what we love and forget the rest!?
Welcome to the first GTTM episode of 2020! Ali & Lindsey are so stoked to be back with their first episode of the new year. This week's episode was inspired by the book "101 Essays That'll Change The Way You Think". How do we know when we've truly evolved and matured as a human being? It's so typical for us to discuss our "resolutions" for the new year, but this time we're trying something different—- figuring out if we've changed and "evolved". What is more important to us now that we're older? Is it easier to move on from things that burned us in the past? And are we finally living the life we thought was impossible!? Grab a coffee, sit back, and reflect with us!
On today's ~final episodes of 2019~ Ali & Lindsey swipe on Bumble and discuss what are MAJOR turnoffs, why we won't swipe to guys with too many gym pics, and how to stand out on dating apps. Also (!!!) what are our top three resolutions for 2020!? (HUGE thank you to all of you for making 2019 an incredible year for us and for following along about what we have to say...we know, we talk WAY too much.... xx, A & L )
This week’s episode is a ~RAD~ one you don’t want to miss! We interviewed @rosewinemansion girlboss and founder Morgan First (@morgan1st) about how she got the idea for the interactive experience currently viewable now in NYC!
We were able to pick Morgan’s brain about taking the leap of faith into pursuing your dreams, taking risks and handling failures, building out your dream team of colleagues, and the importance of social media in building a successful business! ⚡️🍷✨💕
On this week's episode Ali is solo and talking about her journey with anxiety along with help from all of you and your thoughts on how society views anxiety, is there truly a difference between "feeling anxious" and "having anxiety" and ways to cope if your significant other deals with it but you don't.
Happy ~almost~ Thanksgiving! We hope you have the best and most relaxing holiday yet. In this lighthearted episode, Ali & Lindsey quiz eachother to see how well they realllllllly know eachother. Play this game with your BFF's and find out how much you truly know about one another.
It's officially our 1 year birthday since starting this podcast (sheesh -- time sure does fly!) On today's episode we discuss the stresses that we all face when it comes to Thanksgiving. "Are you dating anyone?" and how to dodge this age-old question of being single as a pringle. ALSO -- please don't EVER show up to Turkey day empty handed, otherwise you're a fool.
Disclaimer: don't get us wrong, we're SO incredibly honored to be asked to be part of our friends' special days, but you know what isn't so special, THE COSTS. Thanks to the commercialization and norms of wedding culture and our lovely friend Pinterest, things are getting more and more extravagant from the dresses, the bach parties, the gifts, and everything else that comes with saying "yes" to being part of someone's special day...
On this week's episode, Ali & Lindsey continue the dating & single life convos of a hard hitting question: "is there really someone for everyone?" Ali & Lindsey seem to have differing opinions and have also polled their friends on whether they believe this is true or false.
Since so many of you loved last week's episode on the positives and negatives of being single, we only found it right to continue to relationship topic and discuss the difference between love & lust, why guys are willing to settle into committed relationships that make zero sense to us, and what you should NEVER do when you're in or looking to get into a relationship. All of these topics have been inspired by the new book "We Should All Be Mirandas" by Chelsea Fairless & Lauren Garroni in all of their Sex And The City glory.
On today's episode, Ali & Lindsey discuss a new Cosmo article that recently came out for November titled, "Can I admit that I hate being single now?" Hear whether we think it makes us "weak" to want a relationship or if we're simply masking wanting one with the #singlepowermovement... Does enjoying our free // alone time make us hypocrites if we want a relationship? Also we discuss a recent study that says 45% of American women will be single ages 25-44 in 2030 #YIKES
Ali & Lindsey are back with an all Halloween Themed special! We discuss and reflect on our fav Halloween costumes from elementary school, what we are being for Halloween this year....? AND a special drinking game where Lindsey & Ali battle it out on the most overused and basic college Halloween costumes — if we see the three blind mice ONE MORE TIMEEEEEEEE .... all that and more in this week's episode! Get ready for some nostalgia and laughs!
On this week's episode, Ali & Lindsey recap their recent Disney business trip, the horrific flight from hell that ensued on their way back, and their favorite moments from the week. If you want to skip Ali & Lindsey fangirling over their recent Shawn Mendes and Jonas Brothers Concert Excursions skip the first ten minutes**
Ali & Lindsey are back to discuss the age old question: are girls crazy? Trolling guys on social (before actually dating them), being competitive with other women, and the pressures to try to grab people’s attention through Instagram posts are just the tip of the iceberg. Also— for all our Bachelor Nation fans, we discuss the issues between Blake and Caelynn and weigh in on whether we think Blake is a total jerk or if Caelynn overreacted....

On this week’s episode the girls discuss their experiences with ending things with guys and their oftentimes inabilities to handle rejection. Also— is there a big gray area when it comes to slut-shaming? Listen on to find out Ali & Lindsey’s takes on all things Girl Code that we didn’t cover in our part one of this topic.
Let's be real, we all know there's such a thing as "girl code" and obvi "guy code", but are these really set in stone guidelines? On this week's episode, Ali & Lindsey discuss what they think are the obvious rules of girl code, as well as the countless gray areas where we think these "guidelines" go just a bit too far. For instance, is it okay to date a friend's sibling? What about dating an ex, even after you're happily married? Or is there a time frame that's okay to make a move on a friend's ex? And should you hate people your friends hate and is there a need to "take sides" to prove your friendship to your girlfriends?
In today's episode, Ali & Lindsey take turns interviewing each other a set of five questions (both sets different), that we personally don't know about each other. Find out if we're currently happy where our lives are at, our fave Broadway musicals, and who we think would be our celebrity BFF's.
After a week hiatus, Ali & Lindsey are back with a new episode dissecting our favorite social media app-- the good 'ol gram. Maneuvering the world of modern online dating is superrrrrr annoying. In today's episode, Ali & Lindsey discuss their complaints about Bumble and the updates they need to make to the app in order to make it more user-friendly and to weed out the f*ckboys. Also--- Lindsey dishes on a social experiment Ali put her up to a month ago about sliding into Instagram DM's. Let's just say the guys who've been kicked off The Bachelorette have made great practice....
Ali has one all encompassing question.. WTF is a fandom? Maybe I live under a rock (like always,) but fandom culture has always confused and not gonna lie (scared me a bit.) The internet and society's perception of fandoms has not always painted them in a good light deeming them "obsessive", "over the top", and "weird," but truthfully, I didn't realize it until now that I'm technically part of numerous fandoms, even if I don't engage on message boards, fan art accounts, and fan fiction. Ali gets a basic fandom 101 lesson from her friend Sara who has been a part of fandom culture and has also incorporated them into her classroom as well. Listen on if you need a crash course in some fandom 101...
On today's episode, Ali and her close friend (and one of her only friends from high school) Sara, talk about how to make friendships stand the test of time. With the introduction of social media for the new generation which they've had access to (basically since birth) and how that plays a role in creating meaningful and authentic friendships that will last a long time. Friendship is not easy, but Sara and Ali give their best advice on how to keep your friendships alive and how also not to push them away (aka being a stage five clinger).
Ali discusses the effects of online trolls, cyberbullying, and the truth about #CancelCulture. What is cancel culture? How does this effect our mental healths, daily lives, and celebrity fandoms? Speaking of cancel culture, Ali touches upon several examples that have happened over the past year including Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra, James Charles, and most recently, Beyonce & Jay-Z at the Golden State Warriors NBA finals game. Will we as a society ever stop "canceling" people?

The makeup guru cat is out of the bag ... well for James Charles at least. Tati Westbrook has broken her silence on the infamous Sugar Bear Hair vitamin feud between her and James but let's just say this video had WAY more tea in it than we expected. Tati makes some solid points in this video and truthfully we'll always be #TeamTati because she is an OG of the youtube makeup community. We've come out on the other end of this episode with a few important points: be humble, be kind to your friends, support your loved ones endeavors, and don't USE PEOPLE... and that's the tea.
Watch her video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoVZg4KjRxU
Lindsey and Ali are back with another Tuesday Topics and let's be real ... it's been a WEEK. Are we right or are we right?! It amazes us how things change so quickly in a week; we'll tell ya Hollywood is for sure keepin us young.

Celebrity couples breaking up and divorcing left and right. Megan Fox (who?! jk, but like...) is back and has dropped//pulled out of her ongoing divorce from her husband. SPOILER ALERT
Tune in every Monday for Ali's Game Of Thrones Recap on what is currently happening-- the good, the bad, and the ugly, in the seven kingdoms of Westeros. Hear her cover the most significant events of the most current episode, her questions for episodes to come, and who she thinks will take the iron throne at the end of all the madness.
In this episode we see the theme of "epiphanies" surface amongst characters like Jon, Tyrion, Sansa, and Varys -- potentially realizing that Dany may actually not be the best fit for the iron throne. Jon is literally TOO good of a man and may be perfect for the throne but truthfully, Ali's highkey pissed that he can't even pet his dog ghost goodbye before he leaves for king's landing (#fckedup) Oh-- and did I mention Sansa is a bad btch, all hail Lady Stark, she's truly the smartest person on this entire show. Hear all this and more on this episode of Throne Thoughts.
let's pose a question: why are we so hung up on our exes or on guys who honestly just don't give two sh*ts about us?!
our girl gigi from he's just not that into you put it best, "we are all programmed to believe that if a guy acts like a total jerk that means he likes you."
so now, raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized in your taste in guys ... because we're right there with you. both ali and lindsey have gone through their fair share of guys who didn't feel the same way about them. during the episode we talk about the ~signs~ you should be aware of when trying to take a hint that he isn't into you. it sucks, we know, we've been hurt too, but we're here to tell you that he just isn't worth it. remember that, you are worthy of the best.
Now starting every Tuesday, Ali & Lindsey will be diving into pop culture and current events news that we think is necessary to know. Come back every Tuesday for a new Tuesday Topics Episode.

The tragedy of the Notre Dame church and how it quickly turned into a blogger insta pic fest.
The new recast of John Ambrose in Netflix’s “To All The Boys” sequel, and what the heck happened to the first guy in the original movie?
How horrible Noah Centineo’s new movie “The Perfect Date” was and why it made us cringe (let’s just say we want Peter Kavinsky back).
Our new fav hair ties from @teleties ! Did we mention they support a non-profit that aims to improve the lives of people and families affected by cancer? Hair win and do-good win!
And the youtube makeup guru feud between James Charles and Tati Westbrook and how sugar bear hair plays a part in this feud.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Praise be to God and the writers of GOT that almost everyone ALMOST everyone important survived the battle of Winterfell. Arya Stark is the baddest b*tch in the game, basically all the dragons are gone, Jon Snow has the stamina of a demi-god, and Melisandre deserves a medal. Listen along as Ali recaps episode 3 of Game of Thrones and her predictions for the next episode including who she thinks will take the throne.
Ali finally came out from under her rock and Lindsey got her to watch “The Kissing Booth” and she now wonders why she slept on it for so long. Let’s just say this movie is so bad that it’s good (please watch the movie to know what we mean...) In this week’s episode we compare and contrast the mirage of rom-com romances and how they’re FAKE NEWS. Yep , you heard it here folks, they ain’t real, and we wonder why we’re all out here waiting for prince charm --- we mean Peter Kavinsky. Also, dating a best friend’s sibling, is this off limits? Keep listening to hear our thoughts and tea on these fake movie heartthrobs.
If you love Game of Thrones be sure to tune in to this segment every week for Ali's Throne Thoughts Recap. This is your warning, there are SPOILERS! Ali will discuss her thoughts on the most recent episode, what relationships are blossoming, whose dying, whose going to make it to the iron throne and every unsolicited thought and reaction in between.
In this episode:
Imma let you finish, but Brienne of Tarth was the greatest knight of all time. Ali's not a crier but she cried TWICE (yep, twice) during this episode, and is scared to admit that she actually likes Jamie Lannister.... Arya and Gendry finally explore their love, and Dany finally finds out Jon is her nephew (yikes). Keep listening and let's continue the convo over on @girlstalktoomuchpod !
THRONE THOUGHTS is a new special edition series on GTTM with Ali every Monday recapping the most recent episode of the series finale season of Game of Thrones. Tune in weekly to get her unsolicited opinion on what's going down on each episode and who she thinks will ultimately win the throne (praying it's not cersei.)
In this season premiere episode, we see Dany & Jon Snow's relationship start to unfold, Jon's true self exposed, and Arya finally has a love interest? Bran legitimately teleports from place to play staring people down in his wheelchar, and Sansa and Dany are most definitely not pals... Let's continue the convo on @girlstalktoomuchpod on instagram and chat all the craziness ensuing on GOT!
let's be honest, we've all had countless regrets and life lessons we've learned as we've aged. it's safe to say that ali & lindsey have learned quite a lot over the years and in this episode, they have some deep-hearted convos about what they wish they knew about love, loving themselves, and how to be independent. lindsey touches upon coming to terms with being confident and learning to be patient with love, while ali touches upon embracing her mental health issues. let's just say all the heartbreak, rough patches, and friends we've lost have taught us so much about ourselves.
We may be late to the college bribery scandal party, but you KNOW we had to still dish the GTTM tea ft. our thoughts. As two college grads, we OBVI have opinions on what happened with Olivia Jade, making donations to school (does this also count as a lowkey bribe?), and how we wish we didn't have to take the SATs (but we struggled and so should stars' children too.) Let's just say there ain't hearts everywhere you look . . .
we're not gonna lie, there have been times we (soberly, but mostly drunkenly) opened tinder and SCREECHED; why you may ask ... well four words: tinder pick up lines. the amount of times we have gotten cringeworthy pick up lines is insane, BUT we do have to say, there were some that were quite smooth. (yes we're totally looking at that one boy we matched with in college but never met)

last week, lindsey and ali had the opportunity to go to a private screening of the new movie Breakthrough (coming to theatres April 17). this movie was truly eye-opening and had us thinking more about the power of prayer. religion, miracles and praying is not something we really talk about here on GTTM, but this movie not only tugged at our heart strings but started a discussion between how we view and approach having hope and engaging in prayer (not to mention the movie is incredibly powerful as well as lighthearted.)

Here ye, here ye, the 2000's are back and Ali & Lindsey are reflecting on their first aim screen names, the resurrection of body glitter, and question why poking on Facebook was ever a thing (oh yea-- and Lindsey pokes an ex on Facebook #oops). We honestly wonder why we ever even left the 2000's because anything after 2008 can be canceled in our book. Here's to over straightened hair, I heart boobies bracelets, and Britney Spears.
Ali & Lindsey are back with another episode about (you guessed it) boys. We asked what you wanted tips and advice on when it comes to dating and got an overwhelming amount of questions. We answered how to approach telling someone you’re close to that you’re interested, how young is too young to get engaged, and how to get over someone who you want but doesn’t want you (let’s just say, it ain’t easy). We’d like to think our advice is pretty good but what do we know, we’re just two single gals trying to find our prince charmings as well...
On today's episode of GTTM Lindsey and Ali spill the tea about Instagram, HOT AND FRESH. We were inspired to make this video after a lot of things, but mainly after watching Janie Schlie's YouTube video discussing Instagram, Influencers and The Disney Community on Instagram. Through the start of our company (@myohmysupplyco) we have met so many amazing people through instagram, we have also met our fair share of people who we met and wanted to be friends with us for the wrong reason.
Also, please remember, that people's lives on instagram, are NOT always their reality. Instagram is truly a highlight reel; people are human, we have emotions, we have feelings -- always keep that in mind. Trust us when we say, no one's life is as perfect as their instagram feed.
The Disney College Program-- shining, shimmering splendid...?! On this weeks episode Lindsey and Ali answer some of your questions about the Disney College Program. From making magic everyday to roommate horror stories this episode is the honest truth of our experiences with working for The Walt Disney Company.
Lindsey and Ali are BACK this week continuing on with the series We Did It, So You Should (or Shouldn't). This episode is probably one of the most anticipated episodes of the series and let's just say one of them was stoked, and the other one was, well dreading having to do this. Ladies (and gents) there might be a little more TMI in this episode than you expect, BUT they lay it ALL on the line from pre-wax to post-wax. Shoutout to the amazing Amy ( @munoz_amy )who was Lindsey's esthetician for all the amazing tips and tricks she shared with us. So, You might be asking yourself was it worth it?! Stay tuned...
Welcome to our first episode of We Did It, So You Should (or Shouldn't). A while back we had our listeners write into us with some ideas for this series and one of them that was top of the list was to do a juice cleanse. On this episode Ali and Lindsey talk about the good, the bad, and the juicy details of being on a juice cleanse for two days. Did they make it through the full two days?! Stay tuned...
Confession time, You (on Netflix) could possibly be our new favorite TV show. Wait, no, who are we kidding – it totally is our new favorite show. If you haven’t watched the “newest” Netflix fad then pause this episode because there WILL be spoilers, also ice your back because it must be hurting from the rock you are living under. (kidding) BUT this show is totally a must see. In a way it is kind of relatable? OKAY, we know what you’re thinking – I have never gone THAT far to get into someone’s life, but you are def lying to yourself if you haven’t social media stalked SOMEONE in your life… Between the role social media plays in our everyday lives – this show really touches upon what social ,media has done and can do to us. This show took us through a whirlwind of emotions and all we are gonna ask is, are you Team Joe or naahh?
On this week’s episode Lindsey and Ali are joined by two very special guests who are making their first (of hopefully many) appearances here on GTTM Pod -- Dean and Michael of the DowntownDreamers ( @thedowntowndreamers ). On this podcast we discuss an array of topics from our most vulnerable moments, the highly embarrassing things we have done while drunk to our thoughts on love and modern day dating (aka Lindsey and Ali's fav topic).
Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by your taste in men. On this episode Lindsey and Ali dive back into past relationships cue us chugging a glass of wine. Turns out overanalyzing is our favorite word when it comes to figuring out guys motives. We've gotten mixed vibes and feelings from guys CONSTANTLY and the struggle IS real when it comes to deciphering a guys text. Does a like MEAN anything or does he just have loose thumbs and like everyone's pics?! Welcome to modern dating // ghosting 101.
**NOTE -- so sorry that Lindsey's mic was so low!! we only noticed this after we recorded and we couldn't change the sound!! #RIP
Happy 2019 everyone !! How wild is it that we are already here in the new year ?! like wasn't it just halloween ... 2019 is for sure going to be OUR and YOUR year! Make this year count, make this year about you, you got this!!
(also, please excuse lindsey's cough in this episode lol)
On this weeks episode Lindsey and Ali discuss the (sweaty) elephant in the room -- working out and bettering yourself. Let's be honest, ~everyone~ says it, "This year I'm going to lose 50lbs". Which is amazing, but we know first hand that that doesn't ~always~ happen, which again is totally fine! We discuss our pasts with body changes, dietary changes as well as our fears of working out (yeah, we're lookin at all the people we ~think~ are judging others at the gym).
**DISCLAIMER -- we are not certified as health trainers, we are just telling you guys stories from our past and what does and doesn't work out for us!
Well, I guess you could say the secret is out ... On this episode of Girls Talk Too Much, Lindsey and Ali play a little game called "Moral Dilemma"; a game that brings forth many ~extreme~ dilemma's that ~could~ happen (most likely not though). We chat about what not what we would do personally, but what we thin each other would do. (PS it took Lindsey until the end of the game to remember this). From pickle farming problems, to bouncing babies to catfishing this episode reveals some things you may or may not already know about Ali and Lindsey.
Does anyone else feel like the this years color of the year was yellow?! But like was it overdone . . . Lindsey and Ali are back atcha, but on this on girls talk too much we are talking about trends in 2018 that came out of no where. There are some that should for sure stay; for example, workout classes like soulcylce, or cycling classes in general, anything adidas (yes we are here for the loungewear but like #NotSponsored). Some that have gotta go, well, just tune in and let us know if you agree with what we have to say about the current trends.
Lindsey and Ali are back atcha this week talking about a highly asked topic -- their experience on the Disney College Program. On this episode we talk about not only our individual experiences with working for The Walt Disney Company, but how many times we applied to get into the program as well as things we regret during our college program.

In our inaugural episode of “girls talk too much” we’re discussing gifts of Christmas pasts, what the holidays are like as adults, and answering some holiday trivia (that Lindsey isn’t the best at).
Also did we mention we were brats as children. But can you relate that the most ideal gift to get at the age of twenty something is an electric toothbrush because #relatable
