Vocally, Kevin Conroy is best known to audiences for his role as Batman in Batman: The Animated Series. Conroy continued to voice-play Batman in the subsequent series The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. His tenure in the role also includes the DCAU films Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, and Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman. He also voiced Batman for the character’s guest appearances in Superman: The Animated Series, Static Shock and The Zeta Project. Apart from the DCAU, Conroy has also voiced Batman in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies Batman: Gotham Knight, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.
Conroy is well remembered by fans for being the first person in animation to use two distinct voices to portray Bruce Wayne and Batman, which was Conroy’s idea. In a tally of performances that include every episode, movie, and guest appearance made as Batman, Conroy has portrayed the superhero longer than any other actor in either live-action or animation.
Additionally, he also voiced Batman in the video games The Adventures of Batman and Robin, Batman Vengeance, Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, as well as the 2001 revamp of Batman Adventure – The Ride, located at the Warner Bros. Movie World theme park in Queensland, Australia. Conroy also voiced the Phantom Stranger and an alternate Batman in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, another animated series unrelated to the DCAU.
Most recently, Kevin returned to voice the iconic Batman role in a trilogy of blockbuster video games, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight. The first two games released in the series have sold over 10 million copies combined.
Conroy’s hobbies include traveling, running, cycling, and painting. In his spare time, he also does work with foster kids. He has two brothers and one sister, as well as a chocolate Labrador named Bear.

Victoria Price is a designer, art consultant, author, and public speaker. Growing up in Hollywood as the daughter of actor and art collector Vincent Price and designer Mary Grant Price, Victoria developed her own vibrant contemporary design aesthetic, which she fuses with her extensive knowledge of the visual arts–seamlessly blending modern and historic, regional and international, ethnographic and urban styles to create unique living and working environments.
Price is also a popular public speaker on topics ranging from industrial design to art collecting to making peace with our past stories in order to expand our creative futures–as well as the life of her famous father. She has been privileged to speak all over the United States and Europe–at design conferences, colleges, conventions, and on behalf of private companies.
Her critically acclaimed biography of her father, Vincent Price: A Daughter’s Biography, was published in 1999 by St Martin’s Press. She has also written for the New York Times, A&E’s Biography, and many other national, regional, and local magazines, newspapers, and television programs. Price has also appeared on Good Morning America, A&E’s Biography, NPR’s Fresh Air, and many other national, regional, and local TV and radio programs. Articles about Price and her work have appeared in such national and international publications as USA Today, People, Travel & Leisure, Art & Auction, Sunset, Western Interiors, Santa Fean Magazine, and Santa Fe Trend.
She has taught at the University of New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands University, and the Philos School–an alternative arts-and-humanities school in Santa Fe that she helped to found. Price earned a bachelor’s degree in art history and theatre from Williams College, which has one of the most prestigious art history programs in the country. And she has completed the doctoral program in American Studies at the University of New Mexico. Price also serves on museum boards in New Mexico and California.

Sara Jane Karloff is the only child of Hollywood horror legend, Boris Karloff, and was born while he was working on “Son of Frankenstein”. Surprisingly, he was not an overnight success with “Frankenstein” coming in as his 81st film. Sara quickly reminded me with a laugh “…and nobody saw the first 80.”
So what was this master of horror like as a husband and father out of the makeup and away from the lights of Hollywood? According to Sara, he “was quite literally the antithesis of the roles he played.” Karloff admits she didn’t actually see her father’s most popular film until she was 19, where she saw it in her living room on television for the first time.
While many still fondly call Karloff’s monster “Frankenstein”, it was actually the name of the doctor, “Victor Frankenstein” and when asked why Boris didn’t continue to portray the creature after the third film… Sara recalls “My father made the decision himself, that after the third Frankenstein film, which was “Son of Frankenstein”, he wouldn’t play the role anymore… He felt that the scripts had gone as far as they could without making the creature the brunt of bad scripts and bad jokes…”

Ward, is stepping back into his iconic role this fall in the sequel to “Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders” and can be seen every Saturday evening on METV. He is also teaching dog owners how to double the life of dogs through his non-profit organization.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A longtime TV memorabilia collector is putting props and costumes from “Batman,” ″Star Trek” and other shows up for auction.
James Comisar said 400 items from his collection will be for sale. That includes the Riddler’s green jacket from the first episode of “Batman” and a protective glass “bat shield” from the camp 1960s series.
Also going on the block are the egg-shaped spaceship from “Mork & Mindy,” a bag of Walter White-concocted fake drugs from “Breaking Bad” and a stalking costume worn by the title serial killer in “Dexter.”
More than 50 lots of “Star Trek” costumes, sketches, jewelry and correspondence acquired from series costume designer William Ware Theiss will be part of the sale. Among them is the toga worn by William Shatner’s Capt. Kirk in a kissing scene with Nichelle Nichols’ Lt. Uhura.
Comisar said he has been collecting TV-related items for 30 years and hopes to see a museum built to house the items and honor television history. The memorabilia is stored in a climate-, light- and humidity-controlled warehouse.
With the industry slow to support his dream, Comisar said he decided to “share amazing pieces with collectors and fans who have always valued these shows” and care for them properly.
Prop Store, a film and TV memorabilia company, is hosting the auction on Dec. 1 at its Southern California facility.

In Never Bathe on Saturday (initially presented on March 31, 1965) the Petries’ romantic second honeymoon becomes a disaster when Laura’s toe gets caught in a bath spout.
Carl also chats about his work and Emmy nomination for the HBO documentary If You’re Not In The Obit, Eat Breakfast, now available on DVD. That nomination allowed Carl to enter the Guinness World Records as the oldest Emmy Nominee at age 96 and a half.

Sambegan his career in the entertainment industry as an actor on stage, at the prestigious Peterborough Players in his native, New Hampshire, where he performed over four seasons in such roles as ‘Jem’ in “To Kill a Mockingbird”, opposite James Rebhorn.
At the age of 13 he moved to New York where he landed his first feature film, starring alongside Tim Allen and Martin Short in Disney’s “Jungle 2 Jungle.” Huntington then moved on to such roles as ‘Jam’ in New Line Cinema’s “Detroit Rock City”, ‘Ox’ in Columbia Pictures “Not Another Teen Movie”, and ‘Dinkadoo Murphy’ in Thomas Hayden Church’s “Rolling Kansas.”

Zack Ward was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the son of actress Pam Hyatt. He is known for his character Dave Scovil (Titus’s stoner half-brother) on the FOX show Titus and as the bully Scut Farkus in the 1983 perennial Christmas movie A Christmas Story. He also has guest roles on popular television series such as NCIS, Lost, and Crossing Jordan. Ward has had roles in film such as Almost Famous, Transformers and Anne of Green Gables.
He has appeared in the horror films Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Freddy vs. Jason. Ward also has leading roles in BloodRayne II: Deliverance and Postal. Ward can also be seenin Alone in the Dark II and The Devil’s Tomb.In 2014 Ward co-founded the film production company Grit Film Works with James Cullen Bressack. The first two films which he co-produced with Grit Film Works were the thriller Bethany and the horror film Restoration.

The weekend after his passing, Rankin/Bass historian/Biographer Rick Goldschmidt and his partner Wes Garlatz discovered what was Arthur’s original scrapbook kept at Dentsu studios in Japan from 1959-1961, when he began his first Animagic production of The New Adventures of Pinocchio (A syndicated TV series in the same stop-motion animation style of Rudolph) In this book, you get the entire never-before-seen scrapbook complete with RARE behind-the-scenes photographs, articles (some in Japanese), clippings, notes and even Arthur’s original Videocraft International business card.

About Tito Beveridge Tito’s Handmade Vodka founder and master distiller Bert “Tito” Beveridge is a true pioneer in the world of microdistilling – in fact, it’s a world he helped create. Rue la Rue Cafe is a Golden Girls themed cafe eatery located in the Washington Heights neighborhood of the New York City borough of Manhattan. The restaurant was conceived and is operated by Michael LaRue, a close confidante of one of the four “Golden Girls”, Rue McClanahan (1934 – 2010) while McClanahan’s son Mark Bisch is a partner.

Mike Quinn, (producer of Horizontes, a daily radio program dedicated to the music of Latin America on KUT-FM, Austin’s NPR affiliate), was in 1978 a lowly, but ambitious retail clerk at Discount Records across from the University of Texas campus. Mike undertook the organization of Carnaval ’78 as an outlet for his own creative interests in Brazilian music.
The music of Carnaval — SAMBA, MARCH, FREVO, TRIO ELÉTRICO, and lots of BATUCADA, or drumming — now pours out in seamless, driving, ninety-minute sets. This is the euphoria of a real Carnaval, magnified by an arena-style sound system that makes three or four drums sound like a hundred. The key to the samba sound is the heavy boom of the surdo bass drums set against the counter-rhythms and back beats for the smaller percussion. When all of this is on the mark, samba kicks ass! You can see it on the faces of the crowd as people begin to lose control and abandon themselves to the charged atmosphere.

Although best known for his stint as the host of the long-running television game show The Newlywed Game, Bob Eubanks also enjoyed a brief career as a recording artist and concert promoter. As a promoter, he masterminded the Beatles’ legendary appearance at the Hollywood Bowl.
In 1966, Chuck Barris Productions tapped Eubanks to host their new ABC daytime relationship game show The Newlywed Game, which became such a runaway hit that in early 1967 the network launched a primetime version.
After several years out of the limelight, he made a cameo appearance in the 1992 film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and in 2004 published his memoirs, It’s in the Book, Bob!

Tony Dow was born in Hollywood, California in 1945. Exposed to creative parents and a home frequently filled with his parents’ eccentric and artistic friends, it was no surprise that Tony developed a love for art. At an early age, he showed an unusual talent for imaginative abstract composition and drawing. An accomplished athlete, in his youth he held numerous diving and swimming titles, including national age-group records. In 1957 he was chosen for the role of “Wally” on the hit television show, “Leave It To Beaver”, an event which would change the course of his life.
After the show ended in 1963, he became a member of the “General Hospital cast and made guest appearances on a variety of television shows. In the eighties Tony began a career in TV directing and producing that continued for twenty years. Throughout his lifetime he has been involved in many forms of creative activity. He has been an actor, director, writer, visual effects designer, producer, home builder, woodworker, painter and sculptor. A long-time goal has been to return to sculpting.
In the early 2000’s, Tony began to creating beautiful designs produced from burlwood. Some have been sold as original wood sculptures and others have been cast in bronze. Tony’s talent in the area of modern sculpture was confirmed when one of his bronzes was chosen for exhibition at the Salon 2008 de la National des Beaux Arts in Paris. He was one of only two U.S. sculptors selected to exhibit at this annual juried show at the Carrousel du Louvre. Tony also has exhibited at the Karen Lynne Gallery, Topanga Canyon Gallery and the Morgan Gallery.

Thirty years ago, Tami Stronach starred in the ‘80s hit The NeverEnding Storyand now she is back – ready to invade both the film and music world with her new family label and a Luck Dragon-sized load of exciting new projects.
After a couple of decades of making dance and theater in NYC, Tami has now turned her attention to laying the foundation for a content shop that makes ‘family friendly’ work – not unlike The NeverEnding Story. The brand is Called Paper Canoe Company, which she founded with husband, Greg, whom Tami met making theater in NYC.
In February, Tami releases a new album, Beanstalk Jack, a folk rock ‘opera’ based on Jack and the Beanstalk. Beanstalk Jack is a 50-minute folk rock ‘concept’ album that the whole family can enjoy. It tells the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk with an Americana sound, and a girl meets boy twist. In it, young Jack goes up the Beanstalk with his six-string to find his fortune. In the big world at the top of the Beanstalk, Jack steals the heart of a giant’s daughter, Harmony, a bright star just waiting for the right band to come along.

Deborah Cook – Costume Designer
As an animation specialist for nearly two decades, Deborah Cook has studied puppet-making and costume-making at all levels, concentrating on understanding the scales of fabrics and movement – and how they can be innovatively unified in the puppets’ performances.
She was lead costume design fabricator on LAIKA’s celebrated Coraline, for which she received a Visual Effects Society Award nomination. Coraline was Academy Award-nominated, as were Corpse Bride and Fantastic Mr. Fox, on which she was puppet modeller.
Deborah received a nomination for KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS in the category of Excellence in Fantasy Film by the Costume Designers Guild (CDG). It is the first time in the guild’s 19 year history of awards that an animated film has been nominated by the CDG.
Ms. Cook grew up in England and attended St. Martin’s Art College in London, where her focus was on Fine Art Sculpture. At St. Martin’s, she directed her own projects.

Barry Williams has had an extensive career starring in hundreds of television shows and over 85 productions of Broadway Musicals. He made appearances on several television shows including Dragnet, Adam-12, The Invaders, That Girl, Mission: Impossible, The Mod Squad and Here Comes the Brides before landing his role as Greg Brady on the Brady Bunch, in which he won the Young Artist Foundation Former Child Star “Lifetime Achievement Award” in 1989. The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History is heading down the Yellow Brick Road on a Kickstarter campaign to fund the conservation and display of Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers, made famous by the official landmark 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. The Ruby Slippers have become one of the most iconic artifacts in film history and one of the most asked about objects at the Smithsonian. They have been on view at the museum for three decades, and as a Smithsonian cornerstone, they are deserving of special care and attention as a beloved icon to so many.

The museum launched their Kickstarter on Oct. 17, with a goal of $300,000. The funds will be used for immediate conservation care and a new, state-of-the-art display case designed to protect them from environmental harm and slow their deterioration.
Future plans call for the Ruby Slippers to move into a new exhibition on American popular culture, scheduled to open in 2018. A successful campaign will ensure that millions more people can enjoy the Ruby Slippers for many generations to come.
Cathy Rudolph, who dreamed of being an author and meeting her idol, was 17 when a miracle happened. She was doing research on her favorite celebrity, Paul Lynde (best known for his outrageous jokes on Hollywood Squares & Uncle Arthur from Bewitched) in the Levittown Public Library and in a book had a phone number that said it was Paul Lynde’s business phone number.
She went home and dialed and Paul Lynde himself answered-it was his HOME number! She convinced him to meet her in New York and there was an instant bond between them.

Andy Richardson is a stage actor, singer, and dancer who was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He has been performing on stage since he was eight years old. In 2007, Andy got his big break when he flew up to NYC to audition for New York City Center’s summer production of Gypsy and he booked the job. The highly acclaimed production, directed by Arthur Laurents and starring Patti LuPone, became the catalyst for Andy’s start on Broadway. In the fall of 2007, he made his Broadway debut as Danny Who in Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and in March 2008, he and the rest of the New York City Center Gypsy cast transferred to Broadway.
When his run ended at Gypsy, Andy returned to San Antonio and resumed his life as a normal teenager in eighth grade. In May 2011, Andy auditioned for and booked the world premiere production of Newsies at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. Studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Leonard-Morgan quickly developed a reputation as a producer and arranger on the thriving Glasgow music scene, working with bands such as Belle and Sebastian, Snow Patrol, Mogwai and Texas. He has become long-term collaborator of Scottish songstress Isobel Campbell, working extensively on each of her albums, including the Mercury nominated “Ballad Of The Broken Seas” with Mark Lanegan. This led to Paul working with famed producer Phil Ramone on Sharleen Spiteri’s Gold Disc “Melody”. After working with Mogwai on numerous previous projects (including an art installation with Turner prize-winning artist Douglas Gordon), Leonard-Morgan collaborated with them again on their 7th studio album “Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will”. He also worked with producer Mark “Spike” Stent on No Doubt’s highly acclaimed comeback album “Push and Shove.”
Leonard-Morgan won a BAFTA award for his first film score, Pineapple, and earned both BAFTA and Ivor Novello nominations for his first television drama in the UK, Fallen. This led to him scoring 6 series of the hit BBC/Kudos drama Spooks (MI5 in the USA).
His groundbreaking score for Limitless, a paranoia-fuelled action thriller starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro, directed by Neil Burger (The Illusionist), was nominated for the prestigious World Soundtrack Discovery Award in Ghent, after topping the box office in both the US and UK. Leonard-Morgan will be revisiting LIMITLESS later this year, as the composer for the upcoming CBS TV series based on the film, helmed by Marc Webb (Spiderman, 500 Days of Summer).
Leonard-Morgan’s film work also includes DREDD, which would also top the UK box office in its first week of release. Variety magazine noted “the throbbing sounds of Paul Leonard-Morgan’s bass-heavy original score”. The groundbreaking soundtrack is widely recognized as launching a new generation of hybrid scores. Other scores include 2013’s thriller The Numbers Station and Legendary, the latter of which opened in over 12000 screens worldwide. On the animation front, his work included three Minions films, released alongside Universal Studio’s all-time highest grossing film DESPICABLE ME 2, and Fox/Evergreen’s $80 million Walking With Dinosaurs 3D.
Leonard-Morgan’s first ever video game soundtrack (EA Games’ flagship $180 million title Battlefield Hardline) was released in 2015, earning top video game sales status in the UK for the first quarter of this year. ESPN recently ran a two-hour block of six short sports documentaries directed by Errol Morris under the moniker of IT’S NOT CRAZY, ITS SPORTS (The Subterranean Stadium, The Heist, The Streaker, Being Mr. Met, Most Valuable Whatever, and Chrome) featuring music by Leonard-Morgan.
Leonard-Morgan completed a commission from the National Theatre to score new adaptations of James I (which premiered at the Edinburgh International Festival, before taking residence for a sold-out run at The Olivier Theatre in London) and James II (composed alongside the music of Scottish electro duo Boards of Canada). Leonard-Morgan was selected by The US Olympic Committee to compose the official US Olympic Team Anthem (previously scored by legendary film composer John Williams), used extensively across the US to accompany coverage of the Olympic Games and on NBC’s US Olympic Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony. He also worked with Disney to compose the soundtrack for their ride, Test Track, at Disneyworld, Florida.
Actress Nichelle Nichols is best known for her groundbreaking portrayal of Lieutenant Uhura on the original Star Trek television series.
After an early career as a vocalist and dancer for live jazz orchestras, she began to act in film and television. She is best known for playing Lieutenant Uhura on the classic science-fiction television series Star Trek from 1966 to ’69. In addition to acting, she has recorded albums, written a memoir and science-fiction novels, and worked to recruit women and minorities to NASA.
Actor Walter Koenig rose to fame in the 1960s as Mr. Chekov on the television series Star Trek. He has reprised his role in several film adaptations of the show, including Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
Walter Koenig grew up in New York City. He started acting in high school. He first attended Grinnell College before transferring to University of California Los Angeles. After college, Koenig studied acting at New York’s Neighborhood Playhouse.
He landed the part of Pavel Chekov on Star Trek in 1966. Over the years, Koenig has reprised his most famous role in several films, including Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991). From 1994 to 1998, he played Alfred Bester on Babylon 5. Koenig has also written several books, including 1988’s Warped Factors. He developed the comic book series Things To Come, which debuted in 2011.

Carolyn Palmer is an accomplished sculptor whose passion is creating larger than life-size bronze busts and figures, many of which are displayed in prominent museums and public venues as well as in various private collections.
Carolyn’s most recent work was a spectacular sculpture of Pope Francis displayed in the entrance of the Papal Residence to greet the Holy Father. The Holy Pontiff performed a special benediction over it during his visit to the USA in 2015.
Another prestigous commission was for the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, NY where she created two dynamic bronze busts of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt for the main entrance of the newly renovated Library. Her impressive pieces caught the attention of the New York Times where they were photographed and published for the library’s extensive newspaper article in 2013.

Jake Nodar, grew up in Baltimore City, spending most weekends hiking, camping, and fishing. In middle school, one of his classes was on shelter building, setting a foundation for a future of primitive camping. He says his mental strength is a result of coming out of the closet in a small town in western Colorado after a lifetime of growing up in a very religious environment. He says if you can do that, you can do anything.
For sixteen years Jake has trained horses professionally, which enables him to be out in nature every day. Once a year he tries to go on an adventure, both to keep life interesting, but also to push himself outside of his comfort zone. Some of his adventures include bicycling by himself from St. Augustine, FL, to Santa Monica, CA, spending weeks in Kenya in a Masai village, backpacking around the Canadian Rockies, and spending a month living off the land in the interior of Alaska, which was both a huge physical and mental challenge. Despite this, he says it was the adventure of a lifetime, and he would do it again in a heartbeat. Jake is not one to shy away from an adrenaline rush. He has competed in bull riding, steer wrestling, and full contact jousting. He’s been shark diving, swimming with crocodiles, caving, rappelling, and cliff diving among other activities. When not working with horses, Jake enjoys playing the guitar, long walks on the beach, and wildlife photography. Between working around a farm and going to the gym several times a week, Jake tends to keep in good physical condition. Jake cannot wait for his next adventure, and looks forward to being pushed to his physical and mental limits on Naked And Afraid. The idea of being able to live off the land with not even a shirt on his back, is something that he eagerly awaits.

22-year-old Southern California native Kyle Reynolds began playing music in high school. It was his early struggles with his parents’ divorce that led to a search for meaning in his life, which he discovered through music. His songwriting has been inspired by summer adventures, love, loss, and everything in between. Actress Nichelle Nichols is best known for her groundbreaking portrayal of Lieutenant Uhura on the original Star Trek television series.
When Gene Roddenberry began casting a science-fiction television series to be set in outer space, he invited Nichols to audition. She was ultimately cast in the now-legendary series Star Trek as Lieutenant Uhura, communications officer for the Starship Enterprise. (The name “Uhura” was adapted from “uhuru,” the Swahili word for “freedom.”)
Nichols’s groundbreaking television performance as an African-American woman in a confident, authoritative role drew immediate notice from Star Trek‘s audience. Nichols, still envisioning herself as a theater performer, considered leaving the series after the first season. However, a conversation with the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., during which King encouraged her to remain in the role, changed her mind.
Nichols appeared throughout the run of Star Trek, from 1966 to 1969. As Uhura, she enacted television’s first interracial kiss, with William Shatner’s Captain James T. Kirk in the 1968 episode “Plato’s Stepchildren.”
Nichols also appeared in six Star Trek motion pictures released between 1979 and 1991.

Matt Yockey is assistant professor of film studies at the University of Toledo. His work on fan studies and the superhero genre has appeared in such publications as The Journal of Fandom Studies, Transformative Works and Cultures, The Velvet Light Trap, and Studies in Comics.
ABC’s action-comedy series Batman (1966–68) famously offered a dual address in its wildly popular portayal of a comic book hero in a live action format. Children uncritically accepted the show’s plots and characters, who were guided by lofty ideals and social values, while adults reacted to the clear parody of the values on display. In Batman, author Matt Yockey argues that the series served as a safe space for viewers to engage with changing attitudes about consumerism, politics, the Vietnam war, celebrity, race, and gender during a period when social meaning was increasingly contested in America.
Yockey examines Batman’sboundary pushing in four chapters. In “Bat-Civics,” he analyzes the superhero as a conflicted symbol of American identity and considers the ways in which the Batman character parodied that status. Yockey then looks at the show’s experimentation with the superhero genre’s conservative gender and racial politics in “Bat-Difference” and investigates the significance of the show’s choices of stars and guest stars in “Bat-Casting.” Finally, he considers how the series’ dual identity as straightforward crime serial and subversive mass culture text set it up for extratextual production in “Bat-Being.”
The superhero is a conflicted symbol of American identity—representing both excessive individualism and the status quo—making it an especially useful figure for the kind of cultural work that Batman undertook. Batman fans, from popular culture enthusiasts to television history scholars, will enjoy this volume.

Justin Fabus is a singer/songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who is gaining attention in country’s music scene. Writing songs and playing guitar from an early age, Justin never believed in the word can’t.
Justin has performed at fairs and festivals across the East Coast, and has appeared with many artists such as Gary Allan, Craig Campbell, Randy Houser and David Nail. Justin also had the honor to be invited to perform at The Wheeling Jamboree in Wheeling, West Virginia.

That is, until he opens his mouth: Dorn’s distinctive baritone voice is always a surefire giveaway, and has been heard not only on TNG and DS9, but also in dozens of animated series, computer games and television commercials.
Sans makeup, the Luling, Texas native who grew up in Pasadena, Calif., made his first onscreen appearance—uncredited—in Rocky, as Apollo Creed’s bodyguard. Within a few years, however, he’d landed a co-starring role in CHIPs, and, subsequently, an ongoing one in Days of Our Lives. Then came TNG, and laterDS9: over 11 seasons and four feature films, Dorn’s Worf holds the record for the most appearances for any Star Trek character ever.
Although he appeared on Heroes as the President of the United States, these days his fans are more likely to hear than see him, in animated shows like Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, Superman, Justice League or the revival of Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century. An avid aviator, Dorn has owned numerous aircraft, flown with the Blue Angels and other precision teams, and still owns an old Air Force trainer jet that he takes to air shows around the country.
Soon he will be directing the pilot episode of Internity, an upcoming television medical comedy.

Carel Struycken is the actor known to Star Trek fans for playing Lwaxana Troi’s assistant and valet, Mr. Homn, in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He also played The Spectre in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “The Thaw“.
Struycken is probably most well-known for his role as “Lurch” in the Addams Family movies (The Addams Family in 1991 and Addams Family Values in 1993), in which he co-starred with Star Trek III: The Search for Spock actor Christopher Lloyd.

Emmy-nominated Brannon Braga serves as co-creator, executive producer and writer on Salem, WGN America’s hit supernatural thriller and the network’s first original scripted series, which premiered April 20, 2014. Set in the volatile world of 17th-century Massachusetts, Salem explores what really fueled the infamous witch trials, uncovering the suspenseful, supernatural truth of this dark period in American history.
Braga is also an executive producer and director on FOX’s relaunch of Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey, the iconic 1980 television miniseries from Carl Sagan. Most recently, Braga served as executive producer and writer on FOX’s Terra Nova along with Steven Spielberg.
Prior to that, Braga was an executive producer and writer on the award-winning drama series 24. Braga also created Flashforward and served as an executive producer on the series. Previously, he worked as writer and executive producer on the science fiction drama series Threshold.
Braga was a key creative force in one of the most enduring and well-known science fiction franchises as a creator, writer and executive producer of more than 300 episodes of the Star Trek television series. For more than 13 years collectively, he worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. His film credits include Mission: Impossible II, Star Trek: Generations and Star Trek: First Contact. Jim Beaver is an American character actor, best known for his leading roles on the TV series Deadwood (2004) and Supernatural (2005).
Nominated along with other cast members of Deadwood for a 2006 Screen Actors Guild Award, he found his career in high gear following that series. From it he moved to the popular father-figure role of demon hunter Bobby Singer onSupernatural (2005), a part that brought him a worldwide fan base and a secondary career making personal appearances.
He has continued to write plays and, between acting jobs, to work on the George Reeves project, now planned as a book. He served as biographical consultant on Reeves for the semi-biopic Hollywoodland (2006).

The interstellar duo of Marina Sirtis,(Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, Crash)best known for her role as Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation and it’s film franchise, andformerco-star, Lt. Worf actor Michael Dorn,(Castle, Heroes, Ted 2) have embarked on a new mission with the comedy Internity. The cosmic pair plans to make Internity the first actor-created, fan-funded television series pilot bought by a major network.
Internity follows a misfit team of newbie doctors navigating “intern hell,” led by Dr. Nate, a pop culture fanboy who’s obsessed with TV reruns and prone to dream sequences featuring actual cast members from his favorite old shows in guest appearances.
Sirtis stars as Dr. Camila Chivari, whom at age 50, isn’t the typical first year intern. After a messy divorce, Chivari returned to medical school to pursue her long-held ambition of becoming a doctor. Sirtis says, “I find the idea of starting over at fifty very compelling. It takes guts to embark on a totally new journey at an age most people are thinking about retirement. It’s rare to be offered such an exciting and rewarding role, so I don’t care how we fund it. I’m in!“
Dorn will direct the pilot and make a special appearance reprising his and Sirtis’ iconic sci-fi roles in a special flashback scene. “I’m always looking to break new ground. With this show, we can,” Dorn said. Internity also stars sitcom staples Richard Ruccolo (Two Guys, a Girl & a Pizza Place, Rita Rocks, Legit) and Carla Jimenez, (Last Man Standing, Raising Hope,Nacho Libre) with veteran actor Jim Beaver (Supernatural, Deadwood, the upcoming Crimson Peak) and Joey Adams (Bones, Body of Proof, Broadway).
Adams is writer-creator and will co-produce with Jerald Silverhardt (All The Right Moves, Marker, Fish Don’t Blink). Additional casting by Christine Sheaks, C.S.A. (Boogie Nights, Scary Movie, Fargo) will be announced shortly. Silverhardt says,“Joey wrote a beautifully layered, funny show. It’s got comedy, it’s got drama and it’s different.”
Beaver says, “I like to work on good things, even if there aren’t millions or billions of dollars involved. A really well-thought-out and exciting crowdfunded project is in some ways a greater draw than playing my 481st country sheriff. That’s why I wanted to be part of Internity. It’s a terrific script, and terrific character, and it’s the kind of stuff I don’t always get to play.”
“Actors have been producing their work since the days of Charlie Chaplin,” Adams says. “But, actors taking that work directly to their audience to finance it? This is the future.”
To make history, the team must first raise at least $100,000 via crowdfunding platform www.indiegogo.com to fund their pilot. “Crowdfunding, simply put, is investing in dreams,” Adams said. “Once people get to know us and see how much we all believe in this show; I think they’ll want to help us play doctors on TV.”

Patrick chats with Butch Patrick, who starred as Eddie Munster on “The Munsters”!
For two seasons on “The Munsters”, Butch Patrick portrayed pointed eared, wolf-boy Eddie Munster. He was a regular on ‘The Real McCoys’, ‘General Hospital’ and ‘My Three Sons’ — often appearing in commercials and guest starring on sitcom’s throughout the sixties.

Lance Pekus is known as the ‘Ninja Cowboy’ in the extreme obstacle course competition American Ninja Warrior. The former University of Great Falls wrestler works on his father-in-law’s ranch, where he has built his own obstacle course to prepare for the competition each year.
Having qualified in Kansas City, Lance is currently still competing on American Ninja Warrior.
Stacy Haiduk began studying dance at the age of four. So accomplished were her skills at the age of fourteen, she toured nationally with a Michigan based Broadway/Vaudevillian dance company for a year.
In 1988, Ms. Haiduk landed the role of Lana Lang in the series “Superboy,” which ran from 1988-1992, relocating from New York City to Orlando, Florida. During her stint on “Superboy,” she continued to act outside of the show, performing in movies and a guest role on “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.” After the cancellation of “Superboy,” she portrayed FBI agent-in-training Rhea McPherson in the short-lived drama, “Round Table.”
In 1993, she landed the role of Lt. Katie Hitchcock on “Seaquest DSV.” However, due to lack-luster ratings, the show was retooled to be more sci-fi than science, and moved to Orlando, Florida for filming. Unhappy with the character’s lack of growth, Ms. Haiduk requested to be dropped from her contract. Further acting roles followed.

Robby Johnson was born in Quebec, but this Canadian seems to have been born with cornbread in his veins!
His love of country music was with him from the time he learned how to speak, and although his true influences are more contemporary, his love and respect of it’s roots are obvious when you hear him sing.
Robby didn’t even realize he had any real prospect in the music business until he was already an adult earning a living as a salesman in his native country. He loved listening to Garth and one of his lifelong dreams was to meet the great Tony Arata, who’s song “The Dance” was one of Robby’s favorite songs to sing. Little did he know he would get to see that dream become a reality, when during his first trip to Nashville, he would hook up with Jimmy and Frank.
Jimmy was introduced to Robby through a friend, and immediately found his voice very unique, but Robby was writing songs on his own back home, and he was eager to work with some of Nashville’s best and most successful songwriters.
Zach Rance was a houseguest on Big Brother 16. He was a part of The Bomb Squad until Devin Shepherd put him on the block, leading Zach to blow up The Bomb Squad.

As a solo artist and as the lead singer of the Babys and Bad English, John Waite was a fixture of album-oriented rock radio stations during the ’70s and ’80s.
Waite had a talent for power ballads and driving arena rock, occasionally touching on new wave-styled power pop as well. Though he didn’t consistently have hits, several of his songs — including “Missing You,” the Babys’“Isn’t It Time,” and Bad English’s “When I See You Smile”— became radio staples. John Waite formed the Babys in London, England in 1976 with Wally Stocker (guitar), Mike Corby (vocals, keyboards), and Tony Brock (drums).
Initially conceived as a teen pop band, the Babys earned a record contract based on the strength of a video demo they constructed with producer Mike Mansfield. Chrysalis pushed the band heavily, resulting in “Isn’t It Time” becoming a hit in the U.S. and U.K. in 1977. As their career progressed, the Babys began to experiment with synthesized, new wave-inspired power pop, which resulted in a handful of minor hits.
Jonathan Cain became the band’s keyboardist in 1978, and he and Waite developed a close relationship. When Cain left the Babys to join Journey in 1981, the group disbanded. Waite began his solo career the following year, releasing Ignition on Chrysalis. While the album generated the minor hit “Change,” his second album, 1984’s No Brakes, became a genuine Top Ten hit on the strength of the number one single “Missing You.” While “Missing You” was an international smash, eventually becoming one of the best-remembered songs of the early MTV era, No Brakes produced only one other hit, the Top 40 “Tears.” Its failure to produce another blockbuster was indicative of how Waite’s solo career would proceed.
Mask of Smiles (1985) barely managed a Top 40 entry (“Every Step of the Way”), but Rover’s Return (1987) produced no hits, bringing Waite’s career to a standstill. With his career stalled, Waite formed the supergroup Bad English with former Babys Jonathan Cain and Ricky Phillips (bass), ex-Journey guitarist Neal Schon, and drummer Deen Castronovo. The group’s eponymous debut, released in 1989 on Epic Records, became a platinum success after the power ballad “When I See You Smile” became a number one hit. “Price of Love” was a Top Ten hit in the wake of “When I See You Smile,” but their 1991 follow-up, Backlash, suffered from the lack of one.

Jim’s latest project is Shoplandia, a novel which gives a glimpse into the mayhem in the live television studios of the fictional home shopping network known as Shoplandia. Working in a live television studio can be a crazy experience, and when you add in reality TV stars, self-help gurus, and A-Team actors, it becomes a three-ring circus.

He’s a regular guest on The Tonight Show, Ellen, and Chelsea Lately; and he hosts the shows Cupcake Wars on the Food Network and Win, Lose or Draw on the Disney Channel. He also tours regularly with a magic/comedy live show that Time Out says, “has to be seen to be disbelieved.”
Jeff Russo has become a prominent composer, songwriter and arranger in the film and television industry. Russo is currently composing music for two highly-anticipated television series: FX’s ten-episode limited series, FARGO, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Bob Odenkirk and Kate Walsh and Starz’s new original drama, POWER, from executive producer, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
He has just completed work on the feature film thriller, THE SURFACE, starring Sean Astin and Mimi Rogers and later this year, he is slated to begin work on the upcoming Wilt Chamberlain Biopic, WILT. In addition to composing music for film and television, Russo still plays music with his rock band. He is a founding member, lead guitarist and co-songwriter of two-time GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum selling rock band, TONIC.
Michael Rooker, (The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy) joins me to chat about working on the popular TV series, memories on set, and his own paranormal experiences. Patricia Bethune is also here to discuss the final season of True Blood, auditioning for her character, and what it was like working on MAD MEN!
Michael Rooker caught the acting bug while attending college, and began appearing in local stage productions. On first breaking into film, Michael’s intensity and “don’t-mess-with-me” good looks were highlighted to chilling effect as the title character in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986), filmed in 1986 but due to its controversial nature, not released until 1990.
Since that widely noticed and highly praised performance, much of his career has been spent playing brutes, villains and psychopaths. His occasional turns as a “good guy”, however, are always well-acted and a welcome change for a talented actor too often typecast. Michael was cast as Merle Dixon in AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead, a role that earned him a large and loyal fanbase all over the world. Shortly after filming Season 3 was completed, he added his voice talents to Activision’s video game The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. In addition to the variety of film and television roles, Michael has done voiceover work for many popular video games and was cast as Yondu in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Canadian composer Christophe Beck scored the second season of WB Network’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer“ and received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for his score to the “Buffy” episode, “Becoming, Part 1.” More recently, he scored the Oscar and Grammy-winning animated film Frozen, and both of Marvel’s Ant-Man films.

Dominique Schilling‘s films have screened in festivals all over the world, receiving best film, best documentary, and best director nominations. She also directs international commercials and music videos. Dominique Schilling’s latest work is the feature film A Reason (2014) which she wrote and directed. She is co-owner of ‘Risberg Schilling Productions’, a production company which she runs with her business partner Caroline Risberg. Her father is record producer Dieter Dierks (Scorpions, Twisted Sister), her half-siblings are Michael Dierks and Michaela Dierks.
In her post-“Happy Days” years, Marion Ross reinvigorated her career on the stage. As a result, she earned renewed acclaim and respect for her roles in “Arsenic and Old Lace” (which brought her back to Broadway), “Steel Magnolias”, “Long Day’s Journey Into Night”, “The Glass Menagerie”, “Pippin” and “Barefoot in the Park”, among others. She also toured with her one-woman show as poet Edna St. Vincent Millay entitled “A Lovely Light”. On TV, Marion found recurring flinty-like roles on Touched by an Angel (1994) (a fifth Emmy nomination), That ’70s Show (1998), The Drew Carey Show (1995), Gilmore Girls (2000) and Brothers & Sisters (2006) and also provided a voice in the cartoon “Spongebob Squarepants” as Spongebob’s grandmother.

Tim Russ has been involved with several aspects of Paramount’s “Star Trek” franchise since the 1990s. He did a guest shot as a human terrorist in an episode of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and played a recurring role as T’Kar, a Klingon mercenary in several episodes of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”.
On the big screen, Russ was tactical officer on the bridge of the then-new version of the Enterprise in the opening scenes of “Star Trek: Generations” (1994). He finally hitched his destiny to the stars as a regular on “Star Trek: Voyager” (1995-2001), the flagship series of the fledgling United Paramount Network (UPN). Russ was perfectly cast as Tactical Officer Tuvok, the first Vulcan member of a “Trek” series command crew since the legendary Mr. Spock.
The role allowed him to be serious full-time. He is the director behind feature-length fan films “Of Gods and Men” and the anticipated “Star Trek: Renegades”
