Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick lit the fuse for the cultural civil war when he began to kneel when the national anthem was being played. He’s now out of football altogether. But it looks like LeBron James has picked up his mantle. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar on the NBA’s opening night made a point of disrespecting the national anthem by stomping off the court while it was being played, shouting at fans who were unhappy with him, and defiantly sitting down on the bench while the rest of his team stood at attention. This was just after he said people who supported Hong Kong’s pro-liberty protestors were “uneducated.” Well, maybe this ungrateful athlete, who has been made rich beyond his wildest dreams by this country, might want to consider the possibility that he’s the ignorant and uneducated one.
