But if the coming of the Kingdom is not to be immediate – what then? How should the followers of Jesus live in the meantime? What should they --- and we as the people of God do today? In a world where everything has gone online due to the pandemic, where one could easily search up a variety of sermons, worship songs and devotionals — is church still necessary?
Why do we actually fast? Is it simply to deprive ourselves of food while we pray? Or is there a deeper meaning to what we do and why we do it?

Romans 8:15 God is not leaving us alone, but God is eager to partner us to build strong families.
We alone are not complete. We are meant to complement each other. This is the original design of God, so we can fully express who we are.
Let us come out of this pandemic, having grown closer to God and fallen deeper in love with Him than ever before — because growing deeper in God is a lifestyle, not a destination.
It is through connecting to our purpose, serving God and others, that we find meaning in life. Even though the specifics of what we are called to vocationally may change through our lifetime, we are ultimately called to glorify God!
The significance and value of who we are is not determined by external factors, but by the knowledge that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.
Our lives have been saved and purchased at the price of the death of Christ on the cross - we aren't our own, we are His!
Therefore, let us live our lives in such a way that truly honors God in all that we are and all that we do!
Run with faith to finish this race. And if you need to stop and refresh yourself, take a moment to be in His presence, knowing that God is waiting for you at the finish line.
We have been called out of darkness, saved by Christ, joined with Him together with other believers to declare the praises of God — this is what we need to belong to a community of faith!
From being under the power of darkness, we are now living in His kingdom. This new life comes with a new appetite and a new way of seeing the world; one that yearns for all things Christlike.
"Continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith you were taught."
We were chosen by God and given a second chance through Jesus's sacrifice. Let's keep not only our eyes, but the entirety of our soul on the bible, for He has done the ultimate peacemaking; so that we can know Him and follow Him, even as sinners.
Let us be reminded that living the Christian life is a total transformation from the inside out and a reconciliation with God the Father through Jesus Christ!
This Easter, let us not forget the true reason we celebrate the season — the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
Death no longer has a hold on us because He has risen and we can look forward to eternal life with Him after our time on this earth!
Death often comes unexpectedly, an unpleasant surprise that you wish never came your way. But what about death makes us so uneasy?
"Through death, however, we can become the bread of life."
Through Jesus's resurrection, we were made anew but the life saved was not one to be lived in fear or comfort. Instead we reach out and sow hope fearlessly; after all, He has already won against death!
The Word tells us that Jesus was there right from the beginning and in Him, all things were made. And to reflect on our Creator, is to learn that the life in Him is the light for all mankind.
If this Lent season is the time for reflection, then may it lead to action — that His light in us leads us to shine in the darkness.
With almost everything in our modern world being able to be explained through logic and science, the supernatural is often laughed at or brushed off as irrational — but what about Jesus’ incarnation? How do we have faith in such a seemingly incomprehensible concept?
If a deeper reflection of our lives is only possible with light, then it is the Word that illuminates our path. In it, we are guided in our decisions and devotions; we discover dependence, determination and doggedness; in it, we find delight and keep our dutifulness.
God's voice was never silent, it shouts through every breath we take and reaches out to us at every cycle of our lives; the very lives saved by the sacrifice of His only Son. It is by His love and grace that we are able to speak to Him, so let's also open our hearts to respond to Him!
Are we profiting from the Word of God as it was intended? To truly benefit from it, we must allow it to transform, teach, rebuke and train us in Godly living. Clothe yourself with His Word, and you will find the strength to brave any storm.
No matter the distance, be it physical or spiritual, love closes that gap and bridges the distance.
It is because of God's overwhelming love for us that he sent Jesus to die for our sins and provide a bridge for us to come back to Him!
The Bible isn’t just a book to read because we’re Christians, it is the truth of the promises of God that helps us fight against the challenges life throws our way!
What does the word of God do and how important it is to know and to have the word of God in our lives?
Luke 11:28 "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." Our faith in Christ Jesus is not feeling based. It rests entirely on the consistency and the nature of the word of God that is true, flawless, righteous, eternal, and unchanging!
When is the last time you examined the quality of your inner being? Do troubles bring you down, or do you still praise His name with a smile on your face?
If Christ lives within you, then no matter the circumstance, He is the way to lasting inner peace.
Let's encourage each other to remain steadfast, building each other up in the Spirit, praying for one another, striving together and inspiring each other collectively as one family for the faith of the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Being in unity with Christ does not mean achieving just one goal, it is the daily practice of humility and selflessness in our lives to serve others just as Jesus did. Be it through His Gospels or acts of kindness, let's continue to sow into and build up one another for Jesus!
At the very start of 2021, we want to bring it back to the basics - how can one lead a Christ-centered life?
From Christmas boxes to #GodWithUs, we hope our unusual celebration featured the usual warmth, love, and hope. And before the day ends, Merry Merry Christmas once again!
What makes a gathering? The venue? The food? The ambience? Or is it the people and their intention to connect, to care?

Are you going to live by heavenly wisdom or earthly wisdom? Is there a difference? And if so, what is it?
Have you ever said something that you wish you had not? Can you imagine how powerful our words can be?
Do we really treat our neighbours like we do ourselves, or are we partial in the way we act towards one another?
What do you do when things don’t seem to go your way? Does God promise that you’ll get what you want and your days will be easy?
How do we know we're doing the right thing in helping someone who had stumbled, if life could have taken its course? Why should we do it?
"What kind of fire do our words spark?"
Let us be mindful and consistent with our words to better reflect God's works in us, let us allow His Word to shine through.
Since every outcome is determined by God, how then should we approach making plans for our lives?
Proverbs 16:3 says: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."
" We don't choose the trials, but we choose the response to these trials. " The book of James teaches us that God values persevering faith, that our endurance will be a way people know that God is real!
"The first thing we learn is – every trial is a temptation." At the crossroads of trials, one either matures spiritually or gives in to the temptation from within them. But when you desire God more than anything else, your heart, mind and actions would never stray.
Despite being thrown back to uncertainties, "Our work completes our faith." Like the two sides of a coin, both faith and work need to work back-to-back to have value. God's intent for us in this walk with Him is to have maturity and an all-encompassing life; to not just believe, but also act on it.
By focusing on others and practicing generosity, we gain a liberated others-focused life instead of being stuck in a self-centered life.
We must speak the truth in love, and that love is a meaningful relationship built over the years.
This week we learn how to win in life, the Jesus way. Like all victories, winning lives for Jesus take time, effort, and most of all, intention. But thankfully, we don't do this alone.
Not only has He equipped us, He has opened doors for us and is there every step of the way; so that all there's left for us is to use what we have to serve others.
A reflection through Luke 10:38-42 to experience transformative power of being with Jesus.
Like an anchor, stewardship keeps our core grounded to God; resetting our attitudes in our earthly lives to build the eternal kingdom entrusted to us!

It might be easy to become caught in the moment that we lose track of the center of worship. But let's do so with a heart revealed, so our truest intentions go back to Him.
Posture of the Heart(Part 3) - We should cultivate a posture of humility and obedience. But at times, the struggle is not in the obedience to do but the real struggle is obedience to wait. Let us look into the third posture for our spirituality, that is the posture of waiting before the Lord.
Posture of the Heart(Part 2) – In this journey, we want to cultivate good habits. But what is the point of doing it habitually with a wrong attitude? What is the chief end to cultivating spiritual habits? We will look into the second posture, that is the posture of humility before God.
Posture of the Heart(Part 1)- Poor posture can affect the amount of air you're taking into your lungs when breathing. When your lungs aren't functioning as they should be, your brain, heart and other vital organs won't get the oxygen they need. When you slouch, you compress your abdominal organs, including your digestive tract. Bad posture leads to bad health. It’s easier to detect a bad posture physically... but what about the posture of our hearts? We will look into the first posture, learning from Jesus, we look into the posture of habitual prayer.

Oftentimes, we become trapped in a disillusion that a piece of us is missing and we sit around like flightless birds waiting for God to feed the vacuum in our hearts.
When in truth, He has put everything into us and is simply waiting for us to draw closer to Him, to grow with Him and to trust that there is a future in the life He has created for us.
So let's take flight and go to Him; for with intimacy, comes access to all the powers He has bestowed upon us.

We are the aroma of Christ, we are called to carry the message of Christ out of our familiar four walls and in to the community.
Our ultimate purpose is revealed through a God moment, when He inspires us to have a reckless faith that drives us to share His great love with others!
At times it will seem like nothing about this faith-filled life is the norm. Yet these worldly things that make no sense to us are those that bring us a little closer to a heavenly God.
A God who never ceases to pursue the lost with passion, whose love stretches above all barriers and rejection. This is our God.
Even when it looks like the end of the road, the intertwining of our faith and His promises brings a renewed energy, a change of perspective and a new strength to finish the race.
How we do church is not measured by the hours spent or methods that fit into the box. Our ministries don't just happen within the church confinement but outside as well.
In Jesus' time, the Gospel was shared by the disciples who went out to the cities, preaching through their lives and words. We too, can tell the world about Jesus!
There will only be hope in your heart for what is to come and a seed in you to guide those who may have lost their way.
Evangelism helping us to rediscover that sharing the gospel should be at the core of our Christ-led life.
In surrendering to His sovereignty, we will inevitably find that things fall into place according to His plans, far better than our own.
The worst place in life is when we think we are climbing but actually we are spiralling down! Not every moment creates a forward momentum.
God created you so that He can take care of you, be with you & go through life with you.
There's a thief who comes to rob, steal and kill. Allow the voice of God to give you purpose, intention, value and significance.
God's design for every person is to represent Him as His son, as His daughter and bring honor to Him by the life we live.
The dream of our lives is not determined by the size of our capacity but the size of our Father in Heaven!
Jesus wants us to live an empowered life. He has given us an exponential heart by design and He expects us to fully utilize it. He wants us to live with power!
If you have a need, that's the moment you plant a seed. You cannot out give God. It's impossible. When you give, your hands are empty. But this is the position that says "God, I am ready. Bless me."
We are a community stay together by the love of God that moves towards godliness together.
Future at the most foundational level deals with time. The moment we think differently out future takes shape
It is time to get up the deck, and have a look at the direction of our lives, because there must be more.
Love is a strategy is not a new plan or a better system. It is not so much about us coming up with new methods but rather a spiritual awakening, seated in the heart!
Love with all that you are. Love with all that you have. Love as if we have never been hurt before. Love as if we have it was the first we fell in love with God, people and life!
Whatever the cause, the dream and desire that God has placed in your heart, take a step into the unknown, because you belong to Jesus, you are His Family, He got you covered!
It is high time that we relook this age-old teaching of the church. It is not so much about changing its message but re-thinking its method for the current generation.
The love of Christ is patient. The love of Christ is forgiving. As He loved, so should we love as well.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love never fails. In disciple making, love is always the strategy.
Fear stops us from stepping into the unknown. But God specializes in the unknown because that is the environment where faith kicks in.
"Where is God in my suffering?" When we seek to find God first and not ourselves, we will eventually find both God and ourselves.
A Chair is designed for a short rest, a moment of intentional pause gifts ur the rest we need and creates a space of encounter God.
