An introduction to my story and the reason I need to do this. Life can be tricky, especially when you were living other peoples lives your whole life. Then suddenly the veil is lifted and things are not ok. In fact, you not only woke up on the coals, you're on fire.
I hit a wall last week. My response was to pack up my car and hit the road. I made it a national park/hiking journey. My favorite stop was Lake Minnewaska. And what I learned from this trip is that when I get stuck, I move and that is good and completely helpful.
The last 2 weeks were a drag mentally. I'm breaking out of it with a plan to make a 10 hour drive down to washington dc on friday to be a part of the protests against the immigration ban. Onward :)
