During the first hour we will look at various recent news reports that show bad cops, bad prison guards are not anomaly when the whole system is a "bad system". Don't people make up the "system"? If the system is "bad" or corrupt or doesn't work, that is a reflection on the flesh and blood people running it. We'll check the day's casualty report and see how many people police have killed and check out some of the social media news feeds of our partners. During the second hour we will speak with Mr. Lâ??Sana Dâ??Jahspora would like discuss a fundraiser being held on behalf of his son, Cinque D'Jahspora, a 20 year old shot and killed by black police officer Raymond Dewayne. Dash cam video does appear to confirm witness statements that Cinque D'Jahspora was on the ground when he was shot in the back after the cop initiated contact with him as he walked down the side of a road.

Revolutionary, respected journalist and current radio correspondent for Prison Radio, Mumia Abu-Jamal was recently reported to have had an â??medical emergencyâ?? and was put in intensive care at Schuylkill Medical Center. A campaign to gain the family access was launched on social media with reports that lines were busy but a new report says that family members are now with him. However, The Malcolm X Commemoration Committee says Mumia is in a diabetic coma and from another source states that â??his blood sugar level was very high â?? 779- when hospitalized after passing out. Journalist and independent black media producer Yvette Carnell will drop in on the program to discuss the $20 billion dollar lawsuit filed by the National Association of African-American Media Owners against several big corporations like Comcast and AT&T. The lawsuit alleges that the corporate media giants practiced economic racism against black media producers and named National Action Network founder Al Sharpton in their complaints.

In under-reported news, two Black teens in Detroit are facing up to ten years in prison for a mural they painted on the side of a building of a cop being arrested by a childâ??s angel. However, people are pointing out that three white teens who painted obscenities on a building were charged with misdemeanors and got probation, with community service. When college fraternity members from the University of Michigan destroyed parts of the TreeTops and Boyne Highlands Ski Resorts they were not arrested.

King specifically singled out Black members of Congress. Her anti-Black rant harkens back to the days of Reconstruction when at least on Black member of Congress was attacked and killed by a racist white mob in South Carolina.

During the first hour today we will speak with Ms. Annabelle Parker via Skype who will join us from Europe to give us an update on the three Corcoran Prisoners in California that went on a hunger strike back in Jan 2014 for human rights for all prisoners. Ms. Parker reports that critical legal aid material among other items in a care package are being withheld from two prisoners which is quite possibly illegally since Ms. Parker paid for the shipping of the packages.

Mr. Clements has experienced incredible hardship as a wrongfully convicted teen who was tortured into confessing by Chicago police to an arson fire that resulted in fatalities. Mr. Clements will discuss the latest news involving wrongfully convicted death row inmate Rodney Reed who has spent over 17 years on death row in Texas. Texas is known for all the death row executions is has committed over the decades leading the nation. We will also ask Mr. Clements, who still lives and works in Chicago, about the killing of 17-year-old black teen Laquan McDonald by Chicago police who shot the teen 16 times but lied in press statements about only shooting him once in the chest.

Today political activist and attorney Rachel Wolkenstein will join us during the second hour to discuss the cases of two men, Corey Walker and co-defendant Lorenzo Johnson, dubbed the â??New York Niggersâ?? by the Dauphin County Drug Task Force. The Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General established this multi-jurisdictional Municipal Drug Task Force, which is funded by millions of dollars of federal and state taxpayerâ??s funds to pay for overtime to cops to wage war on Black communities under the guise of drug prohibition. According to Attorney Wolkenstein, â??Corey Walker and co-defendant Lorenzo Johnson are two of the estimated 100,000 actually innocent men incarcerated in the United States. They are part of the generation of young Black men imprisoned in the â??war on drugsâ?? that led to the mass incarceration of some 2.3 million men and women, of whom 60% are Black or Hispanicâ??.

President Mack took over the branch when Rev. Kojo Nantambu stepped down from his post on January 9, 2015 and former community affairs chair for the branch took over as President of the chapter that started in 1919. We will cover President Mack's priorities for the chapter, job discrimination and police brutality.

Last week Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake proposed new measures that, she says are to combat police officer misconduct, which is part of a legislative agenda she has for Marylandâ??s General Assembly this year. The Mayor is calling for the assembly to consider three bills that would toughen penalties for police misconduct, increase oversight of the police department, and implement police body cams for officers.

The article proposes that a non-profit legal service group in NYC called Bronx Defenders funded a rap video in which he says promotes the killing of cops. Because the Bronx Defenders receive grants from the Department of Justice to work on legal issues dealing with the criminal justice system, Mr. Newman supposes there is a link between President Obama and Eric Holder to the video via Bronx Defenders via the producers of the World Starr Hip Hop rap video â??Uncle Murda & Maino â??Hands Upâ?? (Eric Garner Tribute)â?? which has over a quarter million views on Youtube with viewers giving the video a positive rating almost 3 to 1.

Mr. DJahsopra will be providing us an update on his quest for justice for his son who had a promising future before his life was snuffed out by a proxy racist tool of a cop. Mr. DJahspora asks that you sign the petition demanding a criminal prosecution of his sonâ??s executioner by local authorities.
