We started this podcast to have a space to talk about a variety of things like education, travel, community, innovation and so much more; things that connect us from different parts of the world. We are Valentina and Mary. We are the exchange students.
There’s always a teacher who teaches you more than what is confined to the classroom. Tua Nefer is one of those professors who is passionate to education, travel and empowering her students and women using teaching as a medium. We talk about all of these things and more funny stories of her travel.
In this short special, we talk about the idea of feminism, society’s view of LGBTQ+ and some deeper issues that has been an elephant in the room for a long time.

CCI’s alumni Jamila Ruiz, shares her experience being an exchange student in the United States.
