What's in store for the month ahead? Which Sun Signs are up? Which are, well, coasting? What dates should you take a risk and when should you stay at home? And why was last month so … last monthish? We are Christina Rodenbeck, The Oxford Astrologer (https://www.oxfordastrologer.com) and Sally Kirkman of Sally Kirkman Astrology (http://www.sallykirkman.com): two well-known astrologers chatting over a cup of strong coffee or weak tea about our favourite topic – the language of the stars. Once a month, we take astrology by the scruff of its neck and give it a good shake out.Our starting point is the star sign of the month and the major astrological events coming up. As the conversation develops, we connect the astrology to what’s going on in the world using celebrity examples. Most importantly, we highlight the significance of the month’s celestial manoeuvrings so you can find out what it means for you. We’d love you to listen in. Make yourself a cuppa and join us.

In our latest episode, we talk about what's coming up in Aries season, March 20th to April 20th, 2025.
We are living in unusually chaotic times and the astrology mirrors what’s going on in the world. In this month’s podcast, Christina & Sally look at the bigger themes of the current astrology as the planets tip back and forth from 29° Pisces to 0° Aries, the end and beginning of the zodiac.
There’s a lot to say and weave around the current astrology and how it can help you make sense of what’s going on in the wider world.
Aries season is when the sap is rising and Aries is fierce, yet naive too. While so much is dissolving and fading away, there are glimpses of new shoots growing and first steps being taken.

Welcome back to another episode of Astrology Talk, hosted by your Astrology Aunties, Christina Rodenbeck and Sally Kirkman. In this episode, we dive into the astrological forecast for Capricorn Season - December 21, 2024 to January 19, 2025.
Capricorn season starts with the Solstice on December 21st. It's a moment of peace, a time to light candles to welcome in the new season. In the northern hemisphere, the Solstice falls in deep midwinter, a time to rest, slow down and contemplate the year that's gone.
There was lots to talk about this month, especially coinciding with Pluto's move into Aquarius on November 19th.
There's much to be hopeful about around the world and different ways this symbolism is playing out. It's important to note because power planet Pluto will be in Aquarius for the next twenty years. At its best, this brings power to the people.
Capricorn season includes the holiday season and the festive season for different peoples and religions. It's a time to down tools, celebrate and spend quality time with family and loved ones.
The reality isn't always so straightforward. Yet, this Capricorn season, there's a lot to be hopeful for and it truly could be a season of goodwill.
The New Moon on December 30th feels steady and this year, those New Year resolutions could actually stick. At the very least, make a wish when you first see the crescent Moon in the night sky as 2025 begins, a symbol of new beginnings.
The inner planets are mostly moving through earth and water signs as January gets underway, the 'introvert' star signs. Peace and stability reign amongst the majority of the planets.
However, action planet Mars could be the spanner in the works as it remains retrograde and clashes with Pluto on January 3rd in a Leo/Aquarius opposition.
Then, Mars clashes with the Moon in Cancer during the Full Moon on January 15th. It's worth noting where Cancer and Leo fall in your horoscope as this may be where challenges lie.
All in all, Christina & Sally agreed that there's much to look forward to in the month ahead.

Welcome back to another episode of Astrology Talk, hosted by your Astrology Aunties, Christina Rodenbeck and Sally Kirkman. In this episode, we dive into the astrological forecast for Sagittarius Season - November 21 to December 21, 2024.
It's a longer podcast this month because there was so much to talk about. We could not miss talking about the major events which have taken place recently in the USA, impacting the world.
We've linked this to the astrology, especially Pluto's move into Aquarius and what it means for us all moving forward. Hopefully, this month's podcast gives you some helpful tips and information on how to navigate these super crazy times we're living in.
It's Sagittarius season, a time to fire those future arrows high into the sky, but there are two important retrograde phases to consider.
Communication planet Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius from November 26th to December 15th and action planet Mars turns retrograde in Leo on December 6th. Mars will be on go slow in either Leo or Cancer until February 24, 2025.
In addition, we look at two key horoscopes, the New Moon in Sagittarius on December 1st and the Full Moon in Gemini on December 15th.
Both are pivotal regarding what's unfolding. We look at what the astrology means for each star sign and offer you a fresh perspective on how best to navigate your living forward.
Christina & I don't always agree on how to work with the astrology coming up, but isn't that more interesting? What's important moving forward is to be discerning and questioning.
Keep coming back to yourself if you're caught up with information overload or the truth is obscured. Find ways to turn fear into faith and stay grounded.

Welcome back to another episode of Astrology Talk, hosted by your Astrology Aunties, Christina Rodenbeck and Sally Kirkman. In this episode, they dive into the astrological forecast for Scorpio Season - October 22 to November 21, 2024.
It's a big month of astrology coming up and this is mirrored by events out in the world. Scorpio season is a reminder of the dark side of life, a time when spirits reside close by. In the northern hemisphere, we want to hunker down and light candles and get cosy and warm.
Scorpio has two ruling planets, Mars and Pluto and they're both active this month. The key date is November 3rd when there's a powerful opposition between them, leading into the US election on November 5th.
Yet, these two planets are dominant throughout late October and during the New Moon in Scorpio on November 1st.
Scorpio season is a reminder that power and transformation are there for the taking. However, what's significant is ensuring that you use your power to good effect.
The Full Moon on November 15th is equally strong and, on November 19th, Pluto leaves Capricorn and takes up residence in Aquarius where it will remain for the next twenty years.
We talk a lot about Pluto's themes during this podcast. As per usual, you can find out what the upcoming astrology means for you.

In Astrology Investigates Christina and Sally turn detective and use their astrological lens to investigate a new topic each month by answering a question.
This month’s question is ‘what do retrograde planets mean in my birth chart?’
When it comes to birth charts, nearly everyone will have at least one planet in retrograde—it is a pretty common cosmic occurrence. Most people have heard of ‘Mercury Retrograde,’ and associate it to when things are going very wrong! Well actually, retrograde planets are often mistakenly believed to be weaker or functioning improperly; when in fact, they may be more potent or intense, acting on a more internal level. So what should we do in that case?
And what about the other planets? What impact do those have and what does it mean in terms of how we should react and behave?
Tune in and find out!

Welcome to 2024’s first episode of 'Astrology Talk Investigates!’
In this episode, hosts Sally Kirkman and Christina Rodenbeck discuss the question, ‘What does Frankenstein tell us about the future now?
Hmm, you might be thinking, ‘what can we learn from a book written over 200 years ago?’, but few works have had the lasting impact of Mary Shelley's gothic masterpiece, Frankenstein.
A product of its author's profound imagination, the novel not only offers a cornerstone of English literature but also proves itself as an enduring astrological marvel. Mary Shelley, a woman deeply interconnected with the intellectual and philosophical movements of her time, was born under a very distinctive astrological sky. Notably, her birth chart features Pluto at 29 degrees Aquarius on the midheaven, a placement that has resurfaced in contemporary times, echoing the resonant themes of her work in current times.
Understanding the influence of Pluto, known in astrology for its association with transformation, death, rebirth, and the deeper shadowy facets of existence, is pivotal to grasping the relevance of Mary Shelley's life and her iconic creation. Her story was penned during a period when Pluto last journeyed through Aquarius. Much like Shelley's era, we find ourselves now on the cusp of another Plutonian era in Aquarius, igniting discussions on the recurrent themes of innovation and the potential hazards they present to mankind.

In this December episode of 'Astrology Talk Investigates,' hosts Sally Kirkman and Christina Rodenbeck discuss the topic of cosmic marriages. By definition it's when one person's Moon sign is in tight alignment with the other's Sun sign, in the case of Richard Burton & Elizabeth Taylor, his Sun was in Scorpio with her Moon in Scorpio, but specifically looking at what that can mean for the relationship, how they can be in reality and also we look into why this one was so unique.
Richard Burton & Elizabeth Taylor first crossed paths in 1953 at a party in Hollywood and then met on the set of Cleopatra. They went on to have a whirlwind relationship marrying not once, but twice with both marriages ending in divorce.
We also illustrate how cosmic alignments are not limited to romantic relationships, referencing the powerful professional chemistry between Titanic stars and long-time friends, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Libra is one of the cardinal signs, the movers and shakers of the zodiac. The Sun's move into Libra on September 23rd heralds the Equinox, the start of a new season and a new three month astrology cycle.
This month, the star signs Aries and Libra dominate thanks to the karmic nodes getting into their stride cutting across the axis of self (Aries) and other (Libra).
Independence and relationships are opposite ends of the Aries-Libra axis. Will one dominate more than the other during Libra season or is collaboration required?
This is a good question to ask during the Full Moon in Aries on September 29th and during the Solar Eclipse in Libra on October 14th.
Plus, Pluto's last gasp in earth sign Capricorn is under the cosmic spotlight once again as the God of the Underworld and planet of power and transformation turns direct on October 11th. The following day, October 12th, Mars gets power crazy in Scorpio, an early start to Scorpio season.
As per usual, Christina and I talk through the major astrology coming up and what it means for you and each of the 12 star signs.

Virgo season is upon us, traditionally a time of harvest, a return to work (Virgo) after play (Leo), back to school after holiday season.
This month feels unusually chaotic as it begins with a double retrograde phase - both Venus (love/money/beauty) and Mercury (communication/mind) in retreat. Plus, by the end of Virgo season, all the slower moving planets will be retrograde, i.e. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto.
This is making for a topsy-turvy time and it may serve you well to learn to tango your way through the month ahead. One step forward, two steps back - ooh, let's go sideways instead.
Use the Blue Moon Full Moon on August 31st to gain clarity and insight. And, there may be moments of awakening and understanding close to September 4th when Venus turns direct.
Use this coming month to sort the wheat from the chaff, focus on what's important and discard what's not. If you're feeling overwhelmed, get back to basics and do what you can to create a sense of order in your life.
The New Moon in Virgo on September 15th is a symbol of new beginnings. Plus, it's the same date that talk planet Mercury turns direct and a tricky two month retrograde phase is at an end.
Celebrate and get ready for new beginnings at the Equinox on September 23rd.

We're slipping into retrograde season, an ideal time to stop, slow down the pace, work out what you're doing, where you're heading and why.
Love, money and beauty fall under Venus' domain and, in fire sign Leo, there's passion and fun to be had.
Yet, a retrograde planet means that things can be hidden from you so don't rush through life.
Will you be reviewing and reassessing your love life, a partnership, your expenses or what brings you pleasure?
Both the Full Moon on August 1st & the New Moon on August 16th feel celebratory but nothing is certain. Keep your eye on what's changing as events are moving fast.
Leo rules royalty, creativity, actors and children. It's an ideal month to dive deep into a project that inspires you. What will you create or bring into being?
Pay attention to the details, the practicalities but know that from July 23rd to September 15th, either Venus or Mercury are retrograde - therefore, be careful what you say Yes to and get ready to reorient your compass when necessary.

Yet, the month ahead holds promise - a fiery Solstice chart lining us up for three months of heat & happiness - hopefully not too much heat & fire! Leo season is kicking in early.
This is Cancer season too. Events around the Full Moon in Capricorn on July 3rd show where support and comfort can be found. Closer to the New Moon in Cancer on July 17th, that old devil Pluto is back revealing where endings may be necessary, before you can start over.

The Sun's move into Gemini and Mars' move into Leo promises a lively start to the month ahead.
Some of you will be rushing around and talking at top speed, while others will be taking a steadier pace as big planet Jupiter plays a grounding role in earth sign Taurus. Yet, everyone is likely to be thrilled that eclipse season and Mercury retrograde is in the past.
The theme of endings remains, however, with Pluto's move back into Capricorn on June 11th and Saturn in Pisces taking on a more authoritative role throughout the month.

There is so much happening in the coming month so please do listen into our Astrology Talkpodcast for guidance. The astrology can help your navigational skills in knowing when to move forward and when to slow down and be patient.
For starters, there's a powerhouse Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse on April 20th starting a new Aries/Libra eclipse cycle that lasts until March 2025. This is both a symbol of endings and new beginnings.
Plus, the Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycle is completing this year and there's a lively Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on May 5th. Eclipses tend to bring what's hidden to light and they often coincide with key turning points in life.
Here in the UK, the Coronation of King Charles III takes place on May 6th, the day after the Lunar Eclipse. If you haven't yet seen the invitation for the Coronation, do take a look. It's beautiful and a perfect symbol for Taurus season. There are interesting connotations to the date that's been chosen, including a nod to the Green Man.
And, if you're wondering why royal events often coincide with eclipses, this isn't unusual. Charles was born during a Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycle and he's being crowned King on another one. It's auspicious timing as the Sun rules the King in astrology and the Moon rules the Queen and eclipses often coincide with the rise & fall of leaders.
Eclipses have a hidden theme as does Mercury retrograde, the communication planet. And, talk planet Mercury will be retrograde in earth sign Taurus from April 21st to May 15th, so it really is a time to stop, slow down and smell the flowers. Walk in nature, go on retreat.
Also this month, the best planet Jupiter moves into Taurus on May 16th, the day after Mercury turns direct in Taurus on May 15th. Jupiterwill remain in Taurus for the next year. This is when new opportunities could abound and those seeds that have been sown can grow and flourish.
Finally, pay close attention to the money markets as the Taurus-Scorpio eclipse, Mercury retrograde and a powerful Jupiter-Pluto square on May 18th are all related to financial shifts.

Pisces SeasonThe theme of endings and new beginnings runs throughout the coming month of astrology.
The month begins with a glorious New Moon at 1° Pisces on February 20th, a time to dive deep into your emotions, to begin something pure and true.
Plus, a lovely Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Aries on March 2nd brings luck & good fortune for some star signs.
Yet, Saturn dominates this month, the planet linked to rules & reality, boundaries & endings.
On the day of the Full Moon, March 7th, Saturn enters uncharted waters as the planet of solidity moves into the last star sign Pisces, God of the sea.
Will this require a sacrifice, some form of surrender? Will the unreal become real or will boundaries be dissolved?
Christina & Sally dive deep into the symbolic meaning of Saturn's move into Pisces where it will remain for the next couple of years.
Join us and listen in to find out what this means for you and how best to navigate your month ahead.

The first episode of the Astrology Talk Podcast in 2023 starts by looking back at the tricky month that's gone. A double whammy of Mars retrograde & Mercury retrograde floored many of us and it's a relief to be entering a new phase.
We check out Prince Harry's astrology on the publication of his book 'Spare' to reveal more about how the retrogrades can play out. And, to give you an insight into the importance of the timing of astrology and how profound it can be.
The Sun's move into Aquarius on January 20th is giving us a preview of Pluto's epic move from Capricorn to Aquarius in March 2023. What doors are closing, where are there new beginnings in your life?
An energised New Moon in Aquarius on January 21st is a fantastic way to enter a new Solar month. It's fizzing with dynamism and go-getting planetary vibes. Use it to set your intentions and get ahead.
Venus in Pisces from January 27th onwards lends a romantic vibe to the month, enhanced on February 15th when there's a gorgeous Venus-Neptune conjunction.
Before then, don't miss the unpredictable Full Moon in Leo square to innovative & erratic Uranus on February 5th. It's both exciting & crazy.
It's a lively month of astrology - I do hope you'll join us by listening in.

Ooh, it's exciting astrology as we leave 2022 and embark on a new year 2023. The Solstice on December 21st is closely followed by a lively Full Moon on December 23rd that's raring to go. Note where Jupiter in Aries falls in your horoscope because this is where opportunities lie.
Yet, Mars remains retrograde & Mercury turns retrograde on December 29th. This means that, up until January 12th, the planet of action (Mars) is on go slow &, up until January 18th, the planet of communication (Mercury) is on go slow - go figure! Slow it down, rein it in and avoid those New Year scams.
Moving into 2023, there's a Full Moon in Cancer on January 6th that could prove revelatory and there are green lights galore on January 12th (Mars turns direct) and January 18th (Mercury turns direct). What may be exposed & brought to light?
Yes, we should probably be joining the animals and nature hibernating during Capricorn season but, with so much going on behind the scenes, it's worth digging deep to find out more.
Life will leap into action once again when there's a run of forward-moving planetary energy from mid-January onwards. Ooh, exciting times - do we expect anything less?
Happy New Year - may it bring you peace and calm, happiness and joy.

Jupiter is flying high this month. The planet of luck and good fortune, risk-taking and expansion activates the New Moon in Sagittarius on November 23rd, a symbol of new beginnings.
Jupiter is Sagittarius' ruling planet and turns direct in Pisces a few hours after the New Moon. It's a strong whoosh of lucky Jupiter energy.
Fast-forward to the end of the month and Jupiter returns to fire sign Aries on December 20th, blazing trails. There seems to be no stopping the planet of adventure, growth and new opportunities.
Yet, the middle of the month could feel like a muddle and a mess because of the planets aligning the Full Moon in Gemini on December 8th.
Retrograde Mars in trickster Gemini and boundless Jupiter & Neptune reactivating Pisces' energy. It's a cosmic whirlpool and may feel emotionally overwhelming. Down the rabbit hole we go but where will we land? Listen in to find out more.

Scorpio season is here! We're diving deep into the time of year that's linked to all things dark, profound & mysterious. This is the season of Halloween, Day of the Dead & Diwali, bringing the light into the dark.
It's gearing up to be a super intense month ahead with powerful eclipses in Scorpio on October 25th and Taurus on November 8th. The money axis of the zodiac, it's already turning out to be a rocky time for the economy. Eclipses are game-changers and we talk about how best to navigate this season of peak intensity.
More big astrology - action planet Mars turns retrograde on October 30th for 10 weeks. Time to take your foot off the brakes? Lots to talk about and negotiate here.
Plus, big planet Jupiter returns to emotional Pisces on October 28th completing its flow in and out of Pisces over the last 18 months. Therefore, it might make a lot of sense moving forward to slow down in order to speed up.
Wishing you a spooky & magical month ahead.

Whether it was because of Mercury retrograde or the fact that we're knee-deep in the 10-day preparations for the Queen's funeral, there was a lot to talk about in this month's podcast.
We touch on the astrology for the passing of the Queen and the end of an era. Astrology is in sync with this major chapter of endings & new beginnings as Pluto prepares to depart Capricorn & enter Aquarius next year.
The Equinox horoscope was revealing and lead us back to the symbolism of the Solstice horoscope three months ago helping us make sense of the key astrology.
This is Libra season, the star sign of balance & the scales of justice. Yet, until talk planet Mercury turns direct on October 2nd & returns to Libra on October 10th, there may be more debate, cogitating & wrong decisions made, rather than a clear path ahead.
The charts of the New Moon on September 25th & the Full Moon on October 9th can act as guiding lights. Use them to help you leap from stone to stone gracefully & mindfully as we try to find our way forwards in these weird and wonderful times.

Two astrologers talking shop & passing on new insights about the Saturn-Uranus square. If August has been bonkers for you so far, find out why we believe Uranus is the planet of the surreal, how it's playing out in real life & when it's active once again.
A slightly chaotic but exciting month coming up in Virgo season, traditionally the time of the harvest.
Active Mars is in the sign of communication Gemini for an unusually long seven months triggering word (Gemini) power (Mars). Wherever it falls in your horoscope, it's time to speak up.
And yes, there's another Mercury retrograde phase beginning on September 10th, the start of an intriguing (confusing?) three weeks.
Add to this a New Moon in Virgo on August 27th, a Full Moon in Pisces on September 10th and there's a lot to talk about, mull over & digest.
Grab yourself a coffee or a glass of fizz and join us as we reveal what's coming up in the month ahead and what it means for you.

In this month's Astrology Talk podcast, Christina & Sally talk about the intense heat of Leo season and the red-hot astrology at the end of July.
There's fire sign joy as big planet Jupiter in Aries teams up with the Sun & talk planet Mercury in Leo. The New Moon in Leo on July 28th could be blazing with motivation, spontaneity & fun.
A triple conjunction of angry Mars, unpredictable Uranus & the fateful North Node in Taurus late July/early August provides the friends & working astrologers with a lot to talk about.
Uranus & the North Node rarely meet. Is this the reason why astrology is having a renaissance and the TikTok generation are sending astrology viral?
Also this month, August's Full Moon in Aquarius on August 12th resurrects last year's major Saturn-Uranus square. It's a major clash between rules & freedom. Listen in to find out more & what this means for you.

Recording in the fizzing week leading up to the conjunction of Mars and Uranus on January 20, Sally and Christina have a lot to talk about.
It's Aquarius month ahead in an Aquarian year. Exciting, and not a little unnerving -- but we find that silver lining.
It's a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction special this month - the biggest planetary event of 2020. The start of a new 20 year chapter and the start of a new 200 year era, the two rulers meet at 0 degrees Aquarius on December 21st.
In this month's podcast, Christina & Sally talk to you about the importance of the Solstice, the darkest time of the year in the northern hemisphere. And, we debate those craggy Capricorns and their ability to climb high.
The podcast is split into three equal parts - there's a look at the month past and a summary of Capricorn themes (20 minutes) followed by Jupiter-Saturn Aquarius horoscopes for all 12 star signs (20 minutes) and a round up of the exciting astrology as we say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021 (20 minutes).
If you're like us, you'll be more than ready for some brand spanking new beginnings.

Sally Kirkman and Christina Rodenbeck take a look at the month in astrology -- from September 22 to October 22. Every sign gets a bit of useful, down-to-earth advice.
The key word this month is patience. It's a virtue! But there'a a lot more to chat about, including what makes Librans so special and whether Sally will take Christina's advice or try cocoa instead of Ovaltine.
We're still recording our podcast over zoom from Oxford and Guildford so please excuse a few little glitches.

Firstly, as we're entering Virgo season, apologies for getting the dates wrong for the Sun's move into Virgo on the podcast.
The Sun moves into Virgo on August 22nd not August 20th, which was the date Mercury entered Virgo! I know all you Virgos out there will be expecting precision...
This month, we talk about the long transit of Mars through Aries - scars, stings, doing & taking action. Mars turns retrograde on September 9th - listen in to find out what it means for you.
Then, there's joyous Jupiter's change of direction on September 13th and a couple of earthy and rather wonderful lunations - the Full Moon on September 2nd and the New Moon on September 17th.
Virgo is of course harvest season - maybe that's why I've been making fig & ginger chutney with a glut of figs from the tree in my garden!
Grab yourself a glass of something nice and do join us :)

Still zooming back and forth from Sally's living room to Christina's shed.
We talked about Leos, Uranian reinvention, James Corden -- and that scary/exciting Mars in Aries. Those August Moons are looking quite intriguing.
This month Christina was also delighted to interview Hilary Spiteri, homeopath, astrologer and philosopher. That conversation is at the end of our usual podcast.
They ended up talking about some HUGE ideas. The original impetus was to support the Queer Astrology Conference, which was online on July 10-12. Hilary just participated in a roundtable. All their talks are available for the coming month.
Phew! We have such big astrology coming up and we had a lot to talk to about in this Solstice special. It's not often that the Solstice comes along - when the Sun 'stands still' and is at its peak, only to be followed less than 10 hours later by a Solar Eclipse, blotting out the light of the Sun!
Listen in to find out what this means for you and to hear about the rest of this month's super astrology. We talk about our favourite Cancerians too, as the Sun moves through the sign of the crab. Enjoy!

This was our first podcast not together in the same room in over two years, for obvious reasons.
We talk for longer as these are unique times - about the lockdown situation, the wider picture revealed by astrology and a lengthy look at the astrology in your month ahead.
Taurus season makes us smile with its fertile & abundant delights. We debate the New Moon next to innovative, unpredictable Uranus, Venus turning retrograde in Gemini, the epic Nodes changing star signs and the shift from fixed to mutable.
It's a complex month ahead but as always the astrology brings insight and a new perspective on our current situation.
Stay well, stay sane, stay upbeat - until next time.

Christina's Legendary Monthly Horoscopes
As usual, we're looking at the month ahead, but in the circumstances, we talk a lot about the pandemic -- a lot.
We're looking at the big astrology between March 20 and April 20 -- including Mars' conjunctions with Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, plus Saturn's change of signs.
We're diving in to Pisces' world of dreams & the imagination in a big way this month. Mercury, the planet ruling the mind & communication, is retrograde for most of the time taking us all on a magical mystery tour.
Will it be wonderful, will it be weird? Probably a bit of both but with strong earth sign energy, including Mars in Capricorn, there'll be opportunities to make the month memorable.
Join Christina & Sally to hear our chat about the Pisces we love (including birthday girl, Christina). Plus, our astrological wisdom to guide you as the Sun completes its journey around the zodiac one more time.

In this episode, we're looking forward, from a rather bleak moment in mid-January towards the lighter, brighter energy of the coming weeks. Phew!
But this does give us a chance to look at what's just happened in the skies. We discuss Aquarians, the Royal rupture and more... (we talk Royals for the first 15 minutes, in case you've had enough Royal coverage already!)

Although -- or maybe because -- we recorded this on the first frosty day of November, this episode should warm the cockles of your heart.
The big event this coming month is, of course, the move by bounteous Jupiter from Sagittarius to Capricorn. We decided to take the time to make sure we had a quick chat about what this means for every single sign.
But we also managed to squeeze in some talk of Taylor Swift, Alfonso Cuaron -- two magnificent Sagittarians -- and what on earth was going on with that Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio last month!

Scorpio season goes deeper still this year with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, the planet of communication in the sign of deep emotion, dominating the astrology.
There's a zingy New Moon in Scorpio springing surprises and a fulsome Full Moon in Taurus packed full of delight.
Plus, both Venus and Jupiter are cheering up Sagittarius and the fire signs.
It's a smorgasbord of astrology delights amidst one of the darkest months of the year with a major turning point happening on November 19th/20th.
Join Christina & me in our passionate podcast where we bring the astrology alive and let you in on what the astrology means for you.

This month we recorded in the most beautiful surroundings of Regent's Park, London, on a sparkling September afternoon. Lovers, dog walkers, kids skipping school came and went as we discussed the stars and planets.
We talked about Librans, the equinox, the meaning of scales and why we love this time of year.

Well, we're in the middle of a heat wave as we record this -- which is not inappropriate considering the burst of fire in the sky coming in the month ahead.
But first we need to talk about the ongoing Mercury retrograde and all the swirling Cancerian energy of July. What a month it's been!

We ended up in Sally's home recording the latest podcast for Cancer month. Previously, we tried to meet in London and record outside as we are at the peak of summer but, in the UK, heat-wave weather it is not. In fact, we got rained on.
What we did discover was a new 'home' for our latest venture together - astrology workshops. Our first astrology event will take place on Saturday 7th December, 2019 in Covent Garden (book the date in your diary).
We will be looking ahead to 2020, helping you to envision your next steps and navigate your way through some big astrology. Do come join us (more details will be on the way soon).
Back to this month and it's a longer than usual podcast. Primarily, because this is a month with some... big astrology. Cue a punchy Solstice chart, two eclipses and Mercury retrograde. Well, that was fun. We met up in London, a Gemini town, to record this episode on a hot, sunny day in Chelsea Physic Garden. You'll get to hear some classic Gemini background noises -- chitchat, a helicopter, bird song.Mars was in the last stages of Gemini as we made this recording. You may be able to guess this by the speed at which we are both talking! It was a day riddled with synchronicity. But the most outrageous was running into a dear Gemini friend of Sally's, just after Sally had mentioned her. This in a city of more than 10 million people. But back to the actual podcast. The month ahead does look excellent for getting a few things started -- as long as you get in early. Things look a little stickier as we head into the Summer Solstice. For more in-depth astrology, take a look at our websites:Sally is at www.sallykirkman.comwhere you can find details of all her astrology services & products.Christina is at The Oxford Astrologer. We discuss brioche buns, spring flowers, 'big voice' singers, gorgeous people, furry eyebrow and distinctive noses in our Taurus-themed month. Some of us are glad to leave behind the drifty Mercury retrograde vibe in Pisces and start making things happen. This is helped by the Mars Gemini/Mercury Aries mutual reception, both fast and speedy. We discuss where you might need to 'flush the toilet' and let go, thanks to the Pluto/Saturn/South Node activity. Plus, you can hear where you might discover your 'Uranian tickle'.It's all kinds of lively in the month ahead. OK, so it's a bit wafty & circuitous this month, but we were recording during a wet and windy Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. We were also feeling quite giddy...Things to look out for this month: the Equinox begins a new zodiac cycle, mighty Jupiter takes a break, Neptune and Mercury hang out for a loooong session, and Libra gets two Full Moons.Phew -- it's a complicated month. For more in-depth astrology, take a look at our websites:Sally is at www.sallykirkman.com where you can find details of all her astrology services & products.Christina is at The Oxford Astrologer. Check out her in-depth monthly horoscopes for each sign, and it's not too late to buy her Year-Ahead Planner.New: We are answering your questions on the podcast. Our first question this month is about the astrological signature for moments of synchronicity and heightened sensitivity - please do write in if you have a general question about astrology.
It's all a bit emotional and watery as we enter Pisces' season on February 18th. Neptune, planet of dreams & the imagination, is in full flow influencing both the Full Moon on February 19th and the New Moon on March 6th.As Mercury also turns retrograde in Pisces on March 5th, will you experience confusion, inspiration or something inbetween? It feels like a month when it's ok to not know where you're heading or why. Make time to meander gently through life.We also talk about the major astrological shift of Uranus into earth sign, Taurus, on March 6th. As one year comes to a close and a new year beckons, Christina & I stop at the symbolic turning point of the Solstice to chat about the astrology over the coming month. This is Capricorn season when we hunker down in the dark and cold and wait for the return of the light (not quite the same experience if you're in the southern hemisphere - enjoy the Xmas BBQ's!)Yet, all of us can take this opportunity to celebrate whether alone or with family, review the year that's gone and prepare for the year ahead. Some of you will be off the blocks immediately as courageous Mars chases into speedy Aries on New Year's Day. There's slow and heavy astro-traffic for others as the Sun & Saturn unite in Capricorn. A dramatic Solar Eclipse and a wafty, wondrous Jupiter-Neptune square complete the astrological tableaux. We'd love you to join us around our astrologers' kitchen table and listen in as we navigate our way into 2019 together. For more in-depth astrology. Our Xmas Offers:Sally - 2019 Horoscopes eBookChristina - Monthly Horoscopes Gift MembershipOur websites:Sally Kirkman - www.sallykirkman.comChristina Rodenbeck - www.oxfordastrologer. comWant to know more about Capricorn? Christina and I dive deep into Scorpio's realm to unravel some of the mysteries of this dark and spooky season in the latest podcast. We talk about what it means for women with Venus retrograde in Scorpio until Halloween, October 31st, then retrograde in Libra until November 15th. Venus moves from evening star to morning star in the night sky and this is a powerful phase for women and female energies.Sex, money, power & healing are all under the cosmic spotlight as Scorpio's theme is transformation. Fast forward to November and fire sign energy kicks in big-time. Expansive Jupiter enters Sagittarius and rebel Uranus returns to Aries close to Bonfire night hinting at an impressive 'fire'-works display.Do join us to find out how to make the most of this month's dynamic astrology. It's the equinox! Hooray. One of the four corners of the year. Here, we are turning into autumn.Sally and I met for our monthly chat at Cliveden, a very beautiful stately home outside London, famous, or infamous, for political intrigue. That seemed appropriate for the month ahead with Venus, the planet of love, digging around in sexy, secretive Scorpio, while the Sun sails through social, polite and political Libra. It's all pretty intriguing to say the least. Our astrology websites:Christina Rodenbeck: The Oxford AstrologerSally Kirkman: Sally Kirkman AstrologyWant to know more about Libra? Christina & I, Sally, met at the sublime Watts Chapel in Compton, Surrey to record the latest podcast. The chapel is an arts & crafts masterpiece, an ideal setting to talk about the perfectionist, attention-to-detail star sign, Virgo. There was a lot to reflect back on – discussing Mercury retrograde, the eclipse season and Mars returning to earth sign Capricorn. We both agreed that it's an exciting month coming up and one we're more than ready for. With a strong emphasis on earth signs, an ideal time to get productive, be creative and secure strong foundations.Mars-ruled signs, Aries & Scorpio, also get their power back once Mars turns direct at the end of August. All star signs can finally take their foot off the brake.[n.b. What we hadn't taken into account was the fact that we were recording while Mercury was still retrograde. Thus, we ended up with three separate sections of recording which Christina spliced together beautifully. In the last seven minutes or so of the recording, we forget to close the windows, so you can hear the background murmur of people and traffic. Also, in the podcast, I state that Roger Moore was a Sun Virgo, when obviously I meant to say Sean Connery (Roger's a Sun Libra). I mixed up my Bonds! Plus, we omitted to mention the date of the Jupiter-Pluto sextile aspect is September 12th. Other than that, everything went seamlessly - lol!]We still think you will enjoy listening to what we hope is an informative and insightful guide to your month ahead. Our overriding aim is to bridge the gap between Sun signs and the complex yet beautiful art of astrology. Please do send us your comments and feedback and let us know, in true Virgo fashion, whether we make the grade. Our astrology websites:Christina Rodenbeck: The Oxford AstrologerSally Kirkman: Sally Kirkman AstrologyWant to know more about Virgo? To get in a regal, Leoish sort of mood before this podcast, we looked at the castle and had cake at Madame Posh's tea rooms in Windsor. Then, in traditional podcast mode, we sat in a car -- with air-conditioning -- and recorded our conversation about the month ahead. It's quite a juicy one. With two interesting eclipses and two inner planets turned retrograde, there's a lot to discuss. What is more those eclipses and those planets become curiously entangled -- creating ripples around the Zodiac.Oh and then there are the outer planets -- stimulating some flow and creating tension…As always, we talk about what the big events over the next month mean for your individual star sign. There's something for everyone.Next month, we'll be hanging out at the glorious arts and crafts chapel in Compton -- that's Surrey not LA - in honour of that perfectionist's sign, Virgo. Our astrology websites:Christina Rodenbeck: The Oxford AstrologerSally Kirkman: Sally Kirkman AstrologyWant to know more about Leos? We record the latest podcast on a narrow boat rocking gently back and forth on the canal sipping cups of tea, a fitting tribute to the Sun's move into Cancer, one of the water signs and lover of all things cosy and traditional. In our talk about Cancerians, we discuss their sensitivity, their talent at mimicry and how the reflective nature of their ruler, the Moon, draws them towards the artistic realm. They are the keepers of the past. The month ahead isn't geared up for push and shove or rushing in any direction. In fact, the astrological climate necessitates a change in pace. Slow down or life may step in to halt you in your tracks. That's not to say the next few weeks won't be without drama, thanks to a frustrated Mars and a new eclipse cycle. The influence of the past is a key theme in Cancer's birthday month. As always, we talk about what the big events over the next month mean for your individual star sign. There's something for everyone.Next month, we're donning our best hats as we head to Windsor to talk about the regal sign, as the Sun enters Leo. With some pretty Italian footballers to watch in one direction, and a frighteningly muscled Russian strongman in the other, we recorded this month’s podcast in the beating heart of the metropolis — London’s busy Regent’s Park on a hot, sunny spring day. It seemed appropriate to soak up the atmosphere of a famously Gemini town while we talked to you about this month (rather lovely) ahead.Listen out for the local colour and the many distractions — so Gemini!Retrodiction: Sally spills the beans on Mars and Uranus from her Scorpio perspective.Sun Sign: Gemini is the sign of the month — of course. Christina is in the swim thanks to her Gemini Moon, and a certain fairytale young lady of her close acquaintance, and Sally explains why Geminis make the most intriguing friends.Don’t worry though, it’s not all about the Twins, every single Sun sign gets a mention from Aries to Pisces, and for everyone, this month has some unmissable gorgeous moments. Our Astrology Websites:Christina Rodenbeck: The Oxford AstrologerSally Kirkman: Sally Kirkman AstrologyWant to know more about Gemini? There's a stabilising Full Moon in Scorpio but, once again, the major astrology promises change and it all pivots around the mid-May period.A New Moon in Taurus on the same day as Uranus changes star sign for the first time in seven years moving into Taurus and Mars begins its six-month journey through Aquarius. Lots to explore and debate and, as always, we talk about what the important events mean for the key star signs.[n.b. Christina states the Uranus Return is 82 years on the podcast but the actual length of the Return is 84 years]Royal Wedding: The last 10 minutes of the podcast are all about the Royal Wedding on May 19th 2018 between Harry and Meghan. The wedding celebrations are scheduled to begin at 12pm and we talk about whether this indicates a loving union or if other factors are at work.
