Welcome to Travel Media Lab, a podcast for women who want to break into – and thrive in – the travel media space. I am Yulia Denisyuk, an award-winning published travel photographer, writer, storyteller, community builder, podcaster, and entrepreneur working with publications like National Geographic Traveller, Lonely Planet, Conde Nast Traveler, TIME, BBC Travel, and more. Six years ago, I quit my corporate job to pursue my dreams, and today, I’m building a platform to help other women go after theirs as well. Each week, I sit down with my amazing, accomplished guests in the travel media space – published female photographers, writers, editors, entrepreneurs – to uncover how they went about getting to where they are today. And by the way… we don’t sugarcoat the journey. We also talk about the challenges we face on the creative path like self-doubt, perfectionism, and learning to act in spite of our fears (we all face these challenges so on the podcast, we’re going to tackle all of that straight on).
