Babylon the Great will be a city in which global spiritual harlotry will be centered together with economic power—it will be at enmity with Jesus Christ but first be hated by all nations and destroyed by the Antichrist.
Fellowship by "followship" is crucial to building the body of Christ -- to the sanctification and maturing of all of its members. Paul with Timothy provides a great example.
We are commanded not just to read God's word, but to meditate on it. Meditating on God's word is crucial to overcome sin, to know God better, and for it to get from your head into your heart. We look at scripture and wisdom from those who have written excellent books on this topic.

God is sovereign over all- the good, the bad, and He even uses people like King Cyrus who do not know Him.
Isaiah 44 considers the tragedy of idolatry. Ancient idolaters, as well as modern, hold a lie in their hands are powerless to question its veracity.
Even when disobedient to God and under His hand of punishment, know that He has not forsaken you. He counts you as precious, honored, and loved. He will walk with you through the punishment He metes out.
The Creator of the Universe has called His servant to deliver His servant--a Messiah will deliver the people of God and God will come to their aid with tender care and vengeance of enemies.
The Bible is not a science reference, but is true when it addresses science. Assyria is God's rod used to punish Israel. Big Idea- Conflicts happen in the church and some of those are the result of sinful behavior by bad actors. You are to go to them directly and resolve the matter without it being escalated further -and there is great benefit to doing that when you sometimes discover that it was all a big misunderstanding--. The goal is reconciliation, not punishment, not control.
