To “have the mind of Christ” means to understand Christ’s mission, vision, and purpose as revealed by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God and then act upon it. Having His values and desires in mind. It means to think God’s thoughts and not think as the world thinks. The mind that was in Christ is to be our mind as well. The mind is a place of decision and determination. Join us as Pastor Chris shares what it really looks like for us to have the mind of Christ.

He was lowered through the roof, but he left out the door. He couldn’t come in because of the crowd, but the crowd made way for a miracle to walk out the door. He came to Jesus a sinner but walked out forgiven. Everything Jesus touches, Jesus changes!

He reigns at the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf, and He will reign until all of His enemies have been destroyed. He is coming again. Those who are in Christ will be raised and will reign with Him forever. The Good News He wins. He will deliver the kingdom of God to the Father after destroying every rule, authority, and power.

Two angels had come to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah with one agenda – to remove Lot’s family from the city. God would destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah literally by burning sulfur due to the wickedness of the people AND for its lack of righteousness among the people – not even ten righteous. Much like Lot, God gives us instructions in our own lives. What do you do (or not do) when God gives you a command? Does God find you hesitating?
