The topics of past present and future. What defines you. What can do you? Do you control your own life? Questions I ask myself pretty often.
Changes have been happening and I'm doing so many things at once.
Dealing with the overwhelm is important and remembering why you're doing it is key as well.
Taking the time to revisit old books that I've read in my 20s now has given me new perspectives in my 30s.
Wild how things change so quickly.

If you're a business owner, freelancer, or in sales in general and you're not on any social media platforms like Youtube, Instagram, or the new ones like Tiktok you're leaving money on the table.
I think it's important to talk about this and to grow especially during the times of the pandemic people are working from home more, they're shopping online more now.
Listen to my thoughts on that.
My socials.
It's been a long long time guys, 2 years to be exact.
After such a long journey I'm thankful that I didn't completely shut down the path hunters podcast and am back ready to rock.
Slowly but surely I'm reviving the Pathhunters podcast after a few long months of being away.
Wondering what I wanted to do with the podcast, what is next for me here.
So many things but sitting on a few older episodes I recorded before my break I just had to upload some of it again.
I WILL be doing an update episode very soon.

My own personal "failure" of starting my own business, getting started.
It's not glamorous but it's one to tell for all those who are in my position.
I personally feel that the entrepreneur world don't highlight alot of the non-sexy part of the journey, and it's when you fall short of your business.
It's when you attempt and you don't quite make it to the finish line.
What to do next?

Large, medium and small goals are what I'm going after for 2019 as clearing out the smaller goals helps me build up that momentum to tackle the larger goals.
For 2018 I set out very simple goals but that didn't have many actionable steps to help me achieve them.
This time for 2019 I plan on crushing my goals and being completely results oriented.
I hope this first episode of 2019 helps you, I'm excited for many more to come!

You can choose to clear out all the fluff and stuff in your life that doesn't serve or grow you.

The power of words is a real thing. People tend to tell themselves that they can't do this and that.

Money is the driver and I don't need to feel bad about it. There's a difference being driven by money and driven by money to obtain freedom with your life.
There's no reason why not to go after wealth and feel bad about it anymore.
Society dictates that you should feel bad and say money isnt everything but truth be told it is!
Letting go of my pride, and ego to do what it takes to make my dreams come true is what I personally need to do now.
Many people in their lives are faced with the decision to do whatever it takes or to step down and accept a mediocre life.
All the greatest entrepreneurs I look up to today have gone through this place, doing WHATEVER it takes to achieve their dreams.
The final decision for me has been made and I'm doing whatever it takes.
What will you do?
Having motivation isn't enough, finding the reasons why is!
Motivations fade away and it's not sustainable. You can't just wait until you feel motivated to do work.
You have to do it anyway, if you're serious about changing your life.
The scarcity mentality is definitely one that many people experience when leaving their comfort zone.
Some tips and resources that I recommend whenever I go through this is reading think and grow rich by napoleon hill.
Writing down some positive affirmations
and going for a gratitude walk.
Then coming back to work on my content.
Connecting with people, Drunk travel stories, and why traveling around the world is super important to learn about the world, yourself and what you'd like to do with your life.

Letting go of one's self in pursuit of the new you. It's definitely a scary process going out and striving to become the best version of yourself.

For the longest time, I've known that goal setting really help an individual move forward in their life.
The tough part is figuring out what kind of goal setting works, there are so many types and ways of goal setting.
After diving into so many other podcaster's contents about this topic I think I found something that is going to work with me.
I'd like to share that with you here today.

I had a conversation with my little brother about life as he's coming up in a time where he's finishing up school and about to embark on a new chapter of his life.
With over $50,000 dollars in school debt, the normal way of thinking about this is quickly finding a job or maybe 2 jobs to work as quickly as possible
Another idea I had was why not embark on a travel adventure to learn more about the world and yourself?
I think it's time for a new way of thinking.
A deep conversation with a friend of mine that I'd like to share with all of you Path Hunters out there.

When you're able to maximize your learning that's when you gain the knowledge to change your life for the better.

I know most of the time there's always challenges with family not understanding, or you feel that there's an obligation to be the perfect son or daughter. It's hard when you want to live your purpose and passion.
What I'm certain about is that if you're daring, and go after the things that you want in life, with the mindset of making it work then you will definitely have no regrets in that, and your family will definitely understand because they're your family.
I hope you enjoy this episode and the short snippet of inspiration!

I love interviewing digital nomads, by definition they are people who share the love for travel and leverage the internet to create a source of income to travel the world.
As I've always said before that travel makes you smarter, it allows you to see the world. Adds to your perspective on life, and grows you as a human being. After traveling to multiple places in the world.
My guest Dena Adriance, recently started her digital nomad journey and is 1 year into her newly built business.
We got to hear her story on how she started and how she created this whole lifestyle for herself.
What I enjoyed about this conversation is that it's so fresh, Dena started her journey and when I spoke to her she was 7 months into her journey.

Path Hunters!
Excited for today's episode about leveling up you, lately, I've been thinking a lot about leveling up as a human being. Most of the time people tend to run away from their chaos, adversities, or problems but I personally think that you should be present in it. Be with it. Why?! Because it can grow you as a human being.
Throughout our lives, we have constantly challenged over and over again and every time we stand up and rise up to the challenge we come out victorious.
For example, when we were younger, we had to learn how to ride a bike, at that moment we felt like we couldn't do it, we were faced with a challenge and we felt afraid that there was always someone there with us telling us that we can do it. We then rise up after falling and sooner or later you were riding a bike.
Constantly going faster and faster!
As an adult now we think of that experience as something so small but during that time it was everything.
This is what I mean by leveling up, every time we're faced with a challenge and we rise to answer the call, most of the time we come out victorious!

Path Hunters!
A story when I was going through a series of unfortunate events, and today I'll be talking about one of those experiences. It was when I was laid off from my corporate job not once but twice!
So I know that sometimes being laid off can be devastating and it was definitely devastating for me. I wanted to run my thought process at that moment for everyone to listen.
I always try to empower everyone listening to this podcast through my own experience because if it wasn't for all these series of events I wouldn't be here talking with everyone today.
So in a way, I give a lot of thanks to these adversities.
Path Hunters!
I always love conversations with people who are living the location independent lifestyle and especially ones that have recently just started like my guest here today.
Summer Slevin is a freelance digital marketer that I got in touch with and hearing her journey to how she got location independent was exciting.
We spoke about her journey, what it was like at the time working a job she didn't like and how she took and went on a road trip then over to working for Stu Mclaren owner of Tribe and got to hear her insights on working remotely.
I really enjoyed this conversation because Summer has this amazing energy that is super contagious and I really enjoyed chatting with her and looking forward to seeing her new book launch very soon.

Hey, Path Hunters,
Today's guest is the Host of The Entrepreneur House podcast and the Entrepreneur house event in Northern Thailand. My guest Chris Reynolds jumped onto The Path Hunters podcast today sharing his insights on the concept of "you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with"
We drive into the mindset portion of it.
The concept of surrounding yourself with high-level entrepreneurs and ideas on how to find them.
Chris gives a lot of credit to networking, and what he does to get into these high-level entrepreneurs world.
Networking Techniques
Chris mentioned that networking is so important to developing great relationships, and a few suggestions are attending events and paying a little bit more for the VIP package so that it gives you the opportunity to chat with some of the speakers or people you want to meet.
Another great one is volunteering your time and offering help so that it builds great relationships.
Entrepreneur House
I personally love Chris's podcast and his Entrepreneur House Event where he gathers entrepreneurs together to live for a certain period of time so that they may learn and grow together. He hosts that annually in different parts of the world, this year will be in Northern Thailand.
It was so much fun having Chris onto the podcast and hearing him share some golden nuggets on networking!
Thank you so much, my friend, for coming on!

Every so often I get asked, "Paul how do you stay so positive?" and I really want to dive into this episode and talk about how positivity is a choice even when things are tough.
I believe that there is always room to feel grateful at all times. Even when you think that you have nothing to be grateful for, if you take a few minutes of your time, I think you'd find something to be grateful for.
Gratitude leads to positivity, which allows you to project that outwards into your life. When meeting someone, when connecting with people it flows.
I dive into this episode and talk a bit about this and explain how to do it.
I hope you enjoy this episode!

Fellow Path Hunters,
It's one thing for married couples to get together a nice long day of work, sitting down at the dinner table and another thing when you spend the majority of your time together as a married couple, business partners, and travel the world because you aren't tethered to one location.
My guests here today Ray & Laura Blakney are exactly that, a married couple, business partners and is passionate about their English learning language empire Live Lingua.
So I had to bring them onto the Path Hunters Podcast because it's hard enough being in a relationship as it is already but add being business partners, traveling together to the mix. It got me really curious about how they're doing it.
We get into amazing topics such as
How has this benefited their relationship together
I asked Ray & Laura about their relationship together when balancing between the titles of business partners, lovers, and how has it helped their relationship. The answer was that it's going to either help strengthen your relationship together or it may not work out, there was no in between balance. One benefit I thought was great is that you also learn a lot about one another, you learn about things you may not have known about your spouse or partner.
Before starting your business why you should focus on your own personal why.
Ray mentioned something great that I also agree on is before starting a business, make sure you find your own personal reason as to why you want to start a business and also making sure it aligns to that as well.
How things aren't always what you envision it to be.
One of Ray & Laura's passions is volunteering and told a great story on how things aren't always what you envision it to be. Ray mentioned that they spend a lot of time volunteering at a school for people with hearing disabilities, and Ray mentioned that he would teach them some basic computer programming but realized that some of these people couldn't read or write. I love the insight on that because sometimes we forget that some people are starting from ground zero.
We dive into much more topics and I really enjoyed having Ray and Laura onto the podcast.
Thank you so much Ray & Laura for taking the time to chat with me.

Today my guest is a female photographer, creator, and overall an amazing human being, Lisa B jumped onto the Path Hunters Podcast to talk about her journey after losing her father but from that she found her passion and that is photography.
Surrounding Yourself Around Like-minded People
Lisa has a superstar mindset where she explains why it's so important to surround yourself with like-minded people and how that she only has a handful of friends where she'd get together with and talk about goals, inspirations, and motivations. By doing this she elevates herself and those around her to take on life.
Just Do It
After feeling the quality of her work was not up to where she wanted it to be, Lisa took things into her own hands, started a brand new Instagram page (@lkbphotograhy) and created the work that truly represents her. By doing that people from Los Angeles began to notice her work and invited her to come out there directly to work with them. All because she took matters into her own hands.
Maintaining Relationships
Also we dive into how to maintain great relationships, Lisa gave tips and insights on how she maintains relationships with her models, people she works with, and staying true to herself.
It was so refreshing to interview Lisa and hear about her amazing journey. I look forward to seeing how her journey unfolds.
Thank you Lisa for giving me this opportunity to chat with you.

Hey Path Hunters
This week's episode I chat about the desire. You need to have the desire to do what you need to do. I know at times things are tough, and things aren't easy but you owe it to yourself to start.
I hope to inspire some of you out there to entertain the idea to start a side hustle because if you know that deep down you know that the corporate 9-5 job isn't for you, and feel a bit trapped like I was, then you NEED to take a look at the idea of starting one.
I just recently pre-ordered Chris Guillebeau's new book "side hustle school"
I recommend you pre-order one because I personally have interviewed Chris and most of his books offer some great actionable tips and insights and real life case studies of people living and doing what you desire to do too.
I know that you're capable of this, and I hope you enjoy this episode.
Gun To Your Head: From Gun Point to Car Crash: Real Life Stories of Overcoming Adversity Ebook! Hey Path Hunters!
Today's guest I have an awesome soul, Gabby Wallace a Youtuber with 350,000 subscribers. Gabby creates online courses helping adults learn English as a second language all across the world. Launching her English learning channel in 2011 she is a passionate digital nomad that has an amazing journey.
By saying no to the norm, and choosing her own path, she took off early in her journey to teach English in Japan
Side Hustle Gabby was explaining that during her time in Japan she knew she really wanted to strike off on her own and decided to invest her time into her Youtube channel but during the first few years of it, she wasn't making any money and didn't know if she'd want to pull the plug on it or not but something deep inside her told her to keep going. It was about 2014 when she started gaining more momentum, the money started coming in.
I love what Gabby did for this because she continued to work her job in Japan as an English teacher while at the same time creating a side hustle making sure that her side hustle was generating the same amount of money for her to leave.
Start Now A great lesson that Gabby mentioned was that most people think Youtube right now is saturated and everything's been said but that shouldn't stop you from creating your own channel because you'll be able to learn from those who are already doing it before you.
She mentioned that she witnessed other YouTubers grow at a monumental rate because they've learned from those who are already doing it and learning all the mistakes as well.
A great lesson to start now, and even though it may seem saturated or crowded you should still start anyways!
Gabby it was amazing chatting with you for the Path Hunters Podcast, I appreciate you for taking the time to chat with me.
Until next time!!
With gratitude!

Hey Path Hunters!
Quite recently I've been asked what motivates me, and why do I do what I do.
A conversation that really dug deep into the root of why I do what I do has been a really interesting one.
I've narrowed it down to two things, and that is being held at gun point and being born from an immigrant family.
Those 2 things really empowered me to do what I do.
I hope you enjoy this episode!

An entrepreneur that started his journey to Thailand and created an IT solutions company but after realizing that the corporate world wasn't for him.
Just go out and validate After getting to know Jonas this year I noticed that he has been an actions type of guy. Instead of taking time to planning and planning he would take action and try and validate his ideas. One thing he does recommend is for people to take actions.

Syn Cole - Feel Good
Hey beautiful Path Hunters!
Knowing your destination is important as you're navigating through life. If you don't have a clarity on where you want to be in life, then you'd be running around jumping from one thing to another.
Taking time and step back to figure out what you'd want to do, where you want to be, even finding your passion is super important.
Now, it doesn't mean you need to have full clarity on exactly what you want to do because things do change and unforeseen things come about.
By doing this though, you'll be able to execute and at least set a direction and path to obtain that goal.
Hey Path Hunters!
Today's guest is an army vet turned lifestyle entrepreneur. Started his journey when he got back from Afganistan and had difficulty adjusting back into society but Ron Tuch knew one thing, and that was he wanted to take life into his own hands, follow his love for travel.
Never Give Up In the beginning of Ron's journey, Ron was looking into partnerships with a friend of his in Calgary Canada, and during this time suddenly that same friend had decided to take a different path in his life, and Ron was faced with a choice. To either go back home or to keep going and build a location independent lifestyle for himself. Which is a great story of never giving up even though it may seem that you don't have any other options. Ron kept going and never gave up.
Chiangmai was the Final Destination
Hearing and reading about Chiangmai Thailand, Ron too was ready to take off to get out there to be surrounded by like minded people, meet other digital nomads, and wanted to get what Chiangmai has to offer.
Those who succeed, and those who don't Work, and finding a balance is what Ron recommends to all digital nomads, or people who wants to create this lifestyle. There is a balance between the two and it's about finding that balance.
It was so fun to chat with Ron, and thank you so much my friend for coming onto the Path Hunters podcast.
I look forward to seeing how your journey unfolds!

Hey Path Hunters!
This episode I wanted to try a different structure for this podcast episode. I got this idea from Sean Croxton where he would take quotes from influencers and digress and talk about the quote that was played.
I thought this was a fantastic idea so I took a clip from Eric Thomas who is one of my inspirations.
This talk was about being obessed with improvement.
I hope you enjoyed this episode!
Hey Path Hunters!
Today's episode is an exciting episode where we break another limiting belief. I chat with many people about the digital nomad lifestyle, and typically whenever I have these conversations with someone a bit older, mature. The typical answers I get is "oh I'm too old to do that" " I have a mortgage to pay" "I have kids" "you need to be rich to do that" but most of the time these are just limiting beliefs.
I've interviewed many digital nomads in the past from Jasper Ribbers who Airbnb's his home and created a $60,000 income while traveling the world full time as a digital nomad or Gen & Nick a digital nomad couple who travels the world full time has their business all run online as well too.
This time around I get to break another limiting belief that you're never "too old" to start living your life to the fullest. I have Palle Bo the host of The Radio Vagabond podcast, from Denmark. What's special about Palle is that he started his digital nomad journey in early 2016 in his 50s! Suddenly losing his parents in such a short amount time apart, with 2 lovely daughters Palle had to decide what he wanted to do, and he decided to sell everything and take off on his journey to visit every country in the world!
Rich in Many Ways Than That Fancy Car A great story that I wanted to highlight with my chat with Palle was when he started his company he had a choice to make, it was to stay and scale the business higher to create more money and buy that fancy car, house and become rich. Or sacrifice some clients that he had and travel the world full time. Palle explained that he doesn't regret taking off to travel the world and losing a few clients because he is rich in other ways than money. He's rich with experience, culture, and other things that money can't buy.
The Great Lesson of All
A great lesson in this interview was when Palle was explaining how his whole perspective changed after losing his father and then his mother within a few weeks of each other. So within 2 months losing both his parents. That confirmed to Palle that you have to live while you can. Don't wait too long to start living is the great lesson.
This episode with Palle was really fun, only because we got into many other topics but the most inspirational part of it is how Palle takes on life now. He doesn't wait to start living, he's already living and it started the moment that he took off to travel the world.
Thank you so much my friend for chatting with me, I hope you enjoyed this episode!

Hello Path Hunters!
Today's episode is about building MOMENTUM!
Your day starts the moment you open up your eyes the moment you wake up, what you do next will determine your day, and how it flows throughout the day.
A HUGE one I always practice is gratitude, Using the Five Minute Journal or Heath Armstrong's The Sweet Ass Journal
One thing I like about these journals is that you're able to write out your priorities for the day and tackle them.
It helps me a lot and gets my mind off from thinking about what I have to do throughout the day.
Stack the cards in your favor, working with what you have.

Why it's so important for you to choose your own path and build that life that you've always wanted.
As I grow as a podcaster I continue to improve, change, learn, grow and continue to think how I can continue to serve the world.
It's always something that's on my mind, and with this I always want to inspire others to walk down that as well.

Today's guest has interviewed amazing people such as Lisa Nichols, Bob Proctor and Marie Forleo and has a mission to inspire everyone he comes into contact with. My guest today is Sean Croxton Host of the Quote of the Day Show. I knew I had to bring Sean onto the the Path Hunters podcast to chat with him and hear about his journey, and what he does.
That Painful Feeling
Sean shared an amazing story of his early life when he was using Youtube as a way to connect with people as he was learning how to be a better personal trainer. Later on, he realized that he trading time for dollars and that he knew he was capable of so much more. It got to the point it was so painful for him, that he had to do something about it, he had to take action. This is that uncomfortable feeling that everyone has when they aren't living up to their true potential.
Our Greatest Power
The most valuable thing mentioned was that everyone has the ability to create and obtain the life that they've always wanted to have but it all boils down to accepting responsibility for your own life and making the choice on changing that.
Also, why people go to conferences, read books, and in a few days time, they revert back to their old ways is because they haven't accepted responsibility and haven't made the choice to internalize it, take action, and become the person that they've always wanted to become.
Life Is Not Over
If you're working a job that you completely dread, and not feeling fulfilled, know that life is not over and that you have the abilities to create a life that you've always wanted, and it all starts by stepping into that greatness that's inside all of us.

On the Path Hunters podcast I spoke about why you should start a side hustle, how you can find the information for free and if you really want it bad enough you're going to find a way to make it.
Udemy.com is a great place for courses at a cheap price as well, and by learning from some of these courses you add to your skillset, you then are able to build a side hustle whether it's freelancing or something entirely different.
If you aren't able to afford the courses, making trips to the public library to read books, kindle also offers free ebooks as well too and I get into that on how you can do it.
I know that deep down many people want to change their lives and be in more fulfillment but if you want it bad enough you're going to go after it.

My good friend Calvin Simpson come onto the Path Hunters podcast, after the recent popular episode with 3 Podcasters staying together at an Airbnb. So I had to bring Calvin on.
Calvin had a huge helping on launching my new eBook "Gun To Your Head" to Amazon. He is the host of the Life Through The Eyes Of A Smile Podcast and his company Happful where he helps authors write, market and launch their fiction books.
Calvin is the type of guy that radiates amazing energy into the world and one of the first questions I asked Calvin was "Can this be learned or were you born with this?"
He explains that early in his life he was would turn red, and get all flushed whenever speaking to someone new or meeting someone, so he refers to a book called "the game" by Neil Straus that taught him how to interact with people. The book itself is a pickup artist book but the concepts could be applied to all kinds of human interactions.
Baseball Bat Incident
After being assaulted with a baseball bat Calvin suffered severe jaw damage and was in and out of the hospital quite frequently meeting with surgeons to reconstruct his jaw. During this period in Calvin's life, he took the time to reflect on what drove people to bring in positive energy and what drove people to bring negative energy to a room.
He mentioned that kids at the hospital didn't subscribe to that negative energy and majority of the time the kids were smiling.
That Life Changing Email
While listening to a podcast episode with Tim Ferriss and Derek Sivers owner of CD Baby back in the early 2000s Derek mentions that if you have any questions email him and offered this on the podcast. So that little voice within Calvin said to email him, so he does exactly that! Derek emailed him back answering his question and that was question was whether or not that he should leave his corporate job to pursue a new business venture.
Derek's answer was to go and read Cal Newport's book "So good they can't ignore you"
Calvin went and did exactly that and the biggest takeaway was doing two things at once. If it means that much to you, then you're willing to make the time to do it, and once it can sustain your lifestyle then you can transition completely over.
Overall it was an amazing chat with my good friend Calvin.
Thank you so much, my friend, for coming onto the podcast. It was mega fun connecting with you.

How can others achieve more happiness?
Anil explained how anyone can achieve a life of fulfillment and he calls it the "3 Gs" they are

I have an amazing guest here today Jasper Ribbers from Get Paid For Your Pad where we chat about him making $60,000 a year through Airbnb-ing his home and traveling the world full time.
I really wanted to chat with Jasper and capture conversations on different types of ways on how to generate income. This particular one is relatable because I know most people who with homes wants to travel but is tied down with a mortgage.
This is where I chat with Jasper how using Airbnb as a way to create an income even if you have a mortgage to travel or be location independent.
What were you doing before you started traveling?
Jasper working as a trader in the financial industry for 6 years and realized that this is not what he wanted to do with this life, and wanted to aspire for more. During this time he decided to rent out his apartment in Amsterdam and quickly realized that he could travel while doing this.
How much can you make?
I really wanted to get a sense of how much you can make from renting out your home to Airbnb typically and for each person, the situation can vary but Jasper mentioned that roughly you can make about $2000-4000 based on if you're renting out your home for $1500 a month but generally you can 2x - 4x your current income based on how much you're currently renting out.
How to get started
Jasper gets into some details on how to get started if you really wanted to try it out. He mentioned that the idea of someone from the internet going to be living in your home can be very daunting and some people may not feel comfortable with that.
What Jasper suggests is to start small, by renting out your home for a weekend or a week to try it out and see how you would feel about it first before you do anything major.
Jasper did also mention that he has sold his home in Amsterdam and is currently looking to purchase more properties to rent out in different places around the world.
And this could be another idea for someone who wants to create more income in the future by purchasing different properties as well too because of the low cost for the actual properties itself.
Thank you so much, Jasper, for jumping onto the podcast here with me it was a pleasure chatting with you and until next time!

Life isn't a script that you follow, things just happen. You go with the flow and you go through life learning, making mistakes and repeating it.
It's almost June 26 and last year June 26, 2016 I launched the Path Hunters podcast for the first time, and its amazing how far we've come together.
Thank you to all those who have been listening from the very beginning, we've had amazing guests on the podcast, people such as Chris Guillebeau, Philip Mckernan, Dan Schwartz, Heath Armstrong, Jason Moore, and so many more!
I was going through some of my old notes from when I first started, and I found a script where I wrote out word for word what I was going to say.
It's so funny because now I don't follow a script, I just go with the flow, go by memory or depending what our guest wants to chat about.
This is a great lesson to learn because this is exactly what life is about, it's not a script that you follow, and there isn't a cookie cut out mold that you follow, everyone's life is different and will experience many different things.
After interview so many guests for the podcast, there is one thing I noticed there was one thing that all of them spoke about.
And it's about how quickly you execute on your dreams, the speed of implementation, how quickly you take action, get the results, learn from it, and repeat.
Simple as that.
It doesn't have to be complicated, just keep things simple.
I hope you enjoyed this episode though,

Cheers guys!

A couple of months ago in April, My friends Calvin Simpson & Filip Sierpinski attended an event in Toronto hosted by our mentor/friend Jay Wong from the Inner Change Maker Podcast. So we thought it be fun to stay together under one roof at an Airbnb in Toronto and record a 3-way podcast together. So this is the recording for the Path Hunters podcast .
Calvin, Filip and I are all from the same mastermind group and for most of 2016, I developed a great relationship with these 2 amazing rock stars, as they too are podcasters always going through similar journeys and paths.
We spoke about many stuff in this recording, what each of us talk about in our own podcasts.
Filip is the host of Your Next Chapter Podcast
Calvin is the host of Life Through The Eyes of a Smile Podcast
Both amazing podcasts to check out.
Why We All Took a Shot at Our Dreams!
We all chatted about why we all took a shot at our dreams and our reason for doing it.
My reason (Paul) - was that I didn't want to waste 40 years of my life stuck in a cubical, and images of me in my final moments at 80 years wondering why I didn't take the leap of faith at my dreams.
Filip's reason was regret, the feeling of regret and not taking a shot at his dreams far exceeded what he was currently doing at the time. So he didn't want to regret and wonder why he didn't take the shot.
The Event We Went To & Tip On Networking
The speaker at the event was Jayson Gaignard speak on ‘How to Build a 7 Figure Business Through Networking’. but we touched base on tips on how to network.
Networking events are typically a pretty fast pace environment and we all agreed that when going to these kinds of events, it's always good to make quick small talks and let the person you're speaking to know that this is a fast pace environment, let's catch up and set a date afterward because I'd like to meet everyone else.
People would understand & agree, and this leaves the opportunity to trade contact information and continue to efficiently meet everyone else at the event.
Celebrating All The Positive People In Your Life
We chatted about dealing with negative people in life your life. How we all have the same situation where we have people in our lives that are going through something, and as a friend naturally you want to help them but aren't able to because those people never asked for our help in the first place.
Calvin spoke about how he deals with negative people by focusing his energy on celebrating all the posit

My friend Vincent Nguyen came onto the Path Hunters podcast . He is the CEO of Growth Ninja, a Facebook ad service company that offers its service to help other companies with their Facebook ads
The Path Hunters podcast is all about leading a passionate lifestyle, following your bliss and hearing how others are doing it and Steven is doing exactly that!
He shared his journey on how he started and how he started his journey by working for a company called empire flippers and gaining the experience from them. Then, later on, going off on his own and then offering his services to empire flippers.
How to reignite your passion
Vincent mentioned where his company though is great but now he feels as if the passion for it has went away and vincent went into details about his latest passion project. Another business that he purchased and is super passionate about diving into that.
He shares his insights on why he lost his passion and how he reignites it back into his life.
What kind of traveling he did and his thoughts on having expectations when he traveling to different destinations and suggests that going into without an expectation is so much better.
I asked Vincent as well about what it is was like being an Asian entrepreneur and coming from a traditional Vietnamese family. His thoughts and experience on dealing with his parents, and family.
What is important to Vincent now is developing strong meaningful connections, and building it while he's settling back down at home in Arizona and mentions that when he was traveling, he would develop amazing friendships and connections but later on going their separate ways when they're traveling. So that's what drove Vincent to come back home to be closer to his family and friends.
Vincent, it was so fun chatting with you my friend, thank you so much for coming onto the podcast,

My friend Steven Farquharson came onto the Path Hunters podcast . He coaches creatives and entrepreneurs into becoming their fully expressed selves. He is one-half of the self-help comedy skit duo "2HelpfulGuys" and he is a conscious rapper. He uses these various mediums to inspire others to express themselves more while also entertaining them.
The Path Hunters podcast is all about leading a passionate lifestyle, following your bliss and hearing how others are doing it and Steven is doing exactly that!
He shared his journey on how he started and what it was like growing up with a blood disorder. He noticed early on that he had to hold back from expressing himself due to the fact that many people around him were concerned that he may hurt himself due to the blood disorder. Holding back for so long he decides to express himself through drama class and other outlets.
Not until later on in his early 20s, he started putting himself out there more and more because he had an inner calling to be on stage and perform.
Steven wanted to just start so he started posting videos online with his friend and business partner Leroy( 2HelpfulGuys ) where they do self-help comedy, where he can truly be himself. He noticed that it started growing as time went on. People started to notice more and more.
How to find your passion?
I asked Steven how to get started on finding your passion & creative side.
He suggests that even if you don't have a full clarity on what your passion is you somewhat have an idea, and by following that instinct of what you want to do, and take action on it but doing it in the smallest actionable form as possible. An example that he gave was podcasting. Start with 1 episode and put it out into the world and see what happens. Action creates clarity
We chat about so much more...
Thank you so much, Steven, for jumping onto the podcast with me here.
I appreciate you and can't wait to see how your journey unfolds

For a period in my life, I personally went through a lot of adversity from being laid off twice to being held at gunpoint and experienced a lot of turbulence in my life. It's not until after it had passed that I had a chance to reflect and realized if it wasn't for all this I wouldn't be the person who I am today. So in a way, I'm super thankful because of it.
Each chapter is one of that adversity that I went faced and what I learned from it after coming out of it.

Path hunters,
I had an opportunity to chat with a digital nomad that is in the e-commerce space making 6 figures, and we didn’t chat about that but more about his upcoming project the new sweet ass journal to develop your happiness muscle in 100 days.
When I heard about this I knew that I had to ask Heath to jump onto The Path Hunters Podcast
We spoke about ways on how to more happier with your life by repetition for 100 days but not consecutive days, as long as it’s 100 days.
Heath spoke about his life before leading an independent lifestyle, his rock bottom moment, and his journey leading up to where he is today.
The relationship with money was a big one with Heath, he was explaining how he was in debt $20,000 and after chatting with many entrepreneurs on his old podcast The Artsy Now Show, learning habits and strategies to get out of debt and ended up saving $15,000!
This amazing journal for 100 days that will help you with resistance. It helps you obtain your goal by the end of it all.
We go over some amazing stuff that’s within the book and why he wanted to write the journal. I had an amazing time chatting with Heath. It’s a down to earth guy, super awesome.
Thank you so much, Heath, for jumping onto the podcast with me, I appreciate the opportunity.

Billy was 5 years old his mom heard him crying in his room. She asked what was wrong and he said “You’re born, you live for a while, and then you die. What’s the point?”
It took him years to answer that question. Now he helps other people figure out their “point” and live a life that’s true to them.
But years ago, Billy felt stuck. Stuck in a career that looked good on paper but wasn’t fulfilling. He dreaded Mondays and couldn’t wait for Fridays. However, he wasn’t willing to accept that his life had to be like this.
Billy finally found the courage to stop doing what the world told him he “should” do. Instead, he defined his own version of success and went after it. He left his successful advertising career – people thought he was nuts - and moved into the woods to lead wilderness adventures for Outward Bound, while leading volunteer projects in Central America and the South Pacific during the winter.
Billy is the founder of The Courage Crusade and author of “Your Comfort Zone Is Killing You.” He is a professional coach and keynote speaker.
Billy also finds time to get WAY out of his comfort zone so he can grow his courage “muscle”. He has jumped out of an airplane exactly 101 times. He has traveled to over 40 countries including trekking in the Himalayas, running with the Bulls in Spain, and swimming with sharks in South America. He has been a sugar-cane farmer in Costa Rica, an apple picker in New Zealand, and a fundraising director for UNICEF.
Billy knows what makes him tick. He understands the importance of courage in not allowing his fears to hold him back. In fact, he is scared of the exact same things you are: failure, looking stupid, not being liked.
Path Hunters,
Solo Round here today, writing my ebook definitely wasn't easy. There is a huge process involved.
I noticed as I wrote this book, that I started to really enjoy the process and when the time it was complete, I was a bit nervous to release my ebook.

How A 28-Year-Old Digital Nomad Started His Journey
Today’s guest I have a friend of mine that I met while traveling in Chiangmai Thailand.
We’ve become really good friends and connected instantly. Robert Botto a 28-year-old digital nomad traveling the world and building a lifestyle business. He shares so much of his insights. His journey, his favourite travel spots, his mindsets and tips on how to get started.
I just had to bring him onto the path hunters podcast and chat about all this.
Robert shares his story on his journey going from the corporate 9-5 world going through a partnership to helping his family business out to eventually starting his own business. What is really cool about Robert is that he’s still young, and going through all this in life has given him so much experience.
Robert and I agree on the fact that if you’re unhappy with what you’re doing now, you can change that.
Partnerships and the mentality
Robert told a story about partnerships and how it works. They’re like marriages and the biggest thing he mentioned that communication is key when going into a business with a partner. Expressing what is going on, aligning the schedules, and always communicating is key.
The difference between Bali & Chiangmai and what the hype is all about.
Bali is another spot for digital nomads to gather and do work, Robert mentioned that it’s a great place for established digital nomads with sustaining businesses, and not for someone who is just bootstrapping their business. You can easily get distracted with all the surfing and enjoy the weather. Chiangmai is a place where you’re able to bootstrap your business, the vibes there is amazing, everyone is on their laptops and doing some sort of entrepreneurial work.
How to get started
Robert mentioned that a great way to start is by learning a new skill, and a great resource is going onto Udemy.com buy a course and learn a new skill set that will allow you to become a digital nomad. Being location independent.
Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed this interview as Robert is a young digital nomad that is following his love for travel, and built himself a business around that lifestyle. He shared some great points on how to get started, the mindset you need to have to get started, and what to expect.
Thank you, my friend, for coming onto the podcast!

Luke Benjamin Thomas is the owner and founder of Dude Studios. He has been traveling as a digital nomad since early 2013 working on projects that help other digital nomads be able to travel more instead of being tied to their online businesses... And help people get drunk. He's an explorer, always trying new things, a bit of an adrenaline junkie and a guy who can talk for hours and hours if you let him.
How To Stop Backing Down & Face Your Fears
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step" - Lao Tzu
I really love this quote because this is exactly what I and my good friend Luke Benjamin Thomas AKA LBT talks about. We chatted about his journey as a digital nomad as he has been traveling since 2013. He's been so multiple places and is also a podcaster himself as well, he is the host of That Marketing Dude Show. So I had to bring him onto the Path Hunters podcast to talk about his journey!
LBT shared some amazing insights on his journey where he took a trip to Thailand for a month with a group of people he didn't really know too well but became friends afterward. He mentioned that it's all about easing your way into what you really want to do because he noticed that while he really wanted to travel he kept talking himself out of it and at the end of it never really took that leap to travel.
What helped him with this was that he booked a one-way flight which forced him to take off. He then noticed that things got easier as he continued to step out of his comfort zone.
It was so fun chatting with Luke for the podcast as it's a wonderful story about someone who literally just stepped out of his comfort zone and developed the love for travel.

Benefits of solo traveling Solo episode with me here today. I hope all you awesome path hunters out there are chasing your dreams, being intentional, being hunters of your own path. I can't thank you enough how grateful I am for all you listeners who listens to my podcast. So THANK YOU!
This episode I wanted to go over the reasons why I think everyone should solo travel to another country. I go over a few reasons through my own personal experience why I believe everyone should solo-travel.
Here are some benefits!
1)Even if it's for two weeks, when you choose to solo-travel by yourself you can learn A LOT about yourself! During my trip to South Korea in 2016 I traveled alone for 2 weeks and I learned so much about myself. What I like, what I don't like. What types of food, what things I enjoy seeing and even being alone with your own thoughts, being by yourself you can listen and tap into that inner voice of yours. You build a relationship with yourself. And as most entrepreneurs, digital nomads know that it all starts with YOU in the business world. You are the biggest factor whether you build an independent lifestyle, you are the key component to your own life.
2) My time in Chiangmai, Thailand was truly about me getting out of my own comfort zone. Going into a new country that I know nothing about, the culture, the language, or anything but purposely throwing myself into a pack of wolves and then coming out with so much experience. I always preach about getting out of your comfort zone because the majority of the time you're mind is building up this huge road block to stop you from doing that, but one you do, you begin to understand that it's not so bad after all, and you somewhat crave more of it. This is the process of life, you get out of your comfort zone and you experience it for yourself and realize that it's not so bad, and you learn. The process repeats after that.
3) You have a greater appreciation for the friends and family you left back home. When you're solo-traveling and you reflect on the loved ones you left back home. This builds a greater relationship with them, and you realize how grateful you are.
4) There is no other feeling than being in an unknown part of the world where no one knows you, you can choose who you want to be. You can take on a whole different persona. That feeling alone is liberating. It liberates you so much and allows you to bring out your true self.

Path Hunters,
I have my guest here Jeremy Enns who recently became a digital nomad and living that location independent lifestyle.
How To Feel Alive
Path Hunters,
Today's guest I have David Brower, he is all about connecting with people authentically through expression, through feeling alive, and allowing yourself to feel.
David calls it alivefulness and it's a way to awaken and feel alive through expression.
It's amazing chatting with David on the podcast because I believe that this is super important as well when connecting with people. Truly expressing yourself.
This episode David told a story about him holding back his emotions, and what he learned. It turns out that allowing yourself to feel, to cry is the best kind of therapy to let out the emotions.
I had to bring him onto the Path Hunters podcast
How do you feel alive every single day
David mentioned that you should expand your comfort zone and a great example he gave was if you're ordering something and they were to get your order wrong, you have to graciously voice that out instead of brushing it aside and keeping it in.
Sharing your personal power with people - A way to express yourself is by going out and making other people feel good about themselves. Making them laugh, commenting on their features, intentionally going out and making their day.
Conscious aligned choices
David is hosting events coming up in different parts of the world where he gathers a group of amazing people together to awaken their senses and feel the pleasures through eating pleasurable foods, live performances, and learning how to connect with others. He calls it Sensorial Experience Day !

Hey my dear path hunters!
This episode will be an awesome one with your good friend Paul Lam.
I wanted to touch base on a few things and catch up on how things are going with my life as you all know I'm basically the human guinea pig to my own podcast experimenting on things and bringing it to all you path hunters to try out.
As the title shows I recently took up a sponsor for the podcast.
For about a year now I really didn't want to find and worry about a sponsor for the podcast as I know what it was like listening and being bombarded with so many ads and products that sometimes I feel like I'd be doing all you path hunters a disservice.
But from a conversation I had with one of my podcaster friends I was told that it be a great thing bringing on a sponsor for the show and aligning with a product that you really like personally and having your audience enjoy it as well too.
Path Hunters!
This episode is super special and very different and let me explain.
My good friends Gen & Nick from the great anomaly has joined into the path hunters podcast for the 2nd time!
What makes this podcast so special besides them being the first to come back onto the podcast a 2nd time is that during the time of this recording they were still operating the great anomaly but recently they have closed up this business all together and cancel their retreat as well.
But I really wanted to launch this episode anyways because they information that they gave was really great. Also if gives you guys, all the path hunters out there a look into their mindsets before they decided to close up shop.
So they talk about how to figure out what is essential in their business and life.
and so much more insights.
Check out pathhunters.com for more info
Hey Fellow Path Hunters,
I did a quick episode on my iphone I wanted to see how this was going to turn out, and I found it wasn't too bad.
This episode is about how to deal with haters.
Even though there are haters and naysayers this shouldn't stop you from pursuing your dreams.
What really helps is being surrounded by like-minded people. It'll help you level up your life and focus on what's truly important.
It's that vision, that goal, that impact you're going after. You can't forget that.
Remember that 100 years ago people laughed at the idea of flying machines and flying through the airs and now today we enjoy the benefits of flying to different countries.

This time around I have an amazing Digital Nomad / Entrepreneur. Danny Flood. I met Danny at a speaking event and he was one of the speakers talking about kindle publishing.
I knew right away that kindle publishing was something I really wanted to do myself. So I stuck around afterwards to have a quick chat with Danny.
A few minutes of chatting I asked him if he'd like to come onto the Path Hunters Podcast so we can talk about some of the things we spoke about so that all you fellow path hunters could get some value out of it as well.
Shortly afterward Danny and I were rocking the mic.
He dropped some amazing content.

Path hunters,
I’m happy to announce today’s guest is someone I looked up to ever since I picked up his book in 2013 and has followed his philosophy for sometime now.
It’s crazy that I get to interview him for the podcast. He’s a New York Times best seller, traveled to every country in the world, host of the world domination summit in Portland Oregon.
Better known for his $100 start up book, get excited for the one and only Chris Guillebeau. (check out the $100 startup book)
So the cool thing is that I've contacted Chris and heard that he had a new podcast called Side Hustle School , and I knew I had to bring him onto The Path Hunters podcast
I loved every second of the interview. I really enjoyed this interview as we get into different types of topics and his perspective on them.
How to build awesome communities even if you're an introvert.
How Chris finds speakers for his world domination summit.
Why it's so important to set goals and making them measurable.
Why Chris doesn't believe in a balanced lifestyle.
Why you shouldn't niche down, but instead what is the theme.
Most people don't know what their niche is, and because of that they typically think that there is something wrong with them. But Chris believes that's alright because instead of niching down, create a life surrounding a theme with things that you love.

Hey you beautiful Path Hunters,
This time around I'm back in Canada again with stable internet focusing on new upcoming projects.
I'm so excited to share 3 things I learned while traveling that I feel that would be very valuable to you.
Traveling around the world has taught me a lot about caring for your fellow humans.
Here are the 3 things that I learned.
1) Come from a place of giving. - Focusing on giving even when you don't understand it but have this gut feeling, this intuition or inner voice to just simply give then you should do it.
2) 1 action is better than 100 ideas written down - I used to write a lot of ideas down but never really executing on anything of them and I realized that taking action even if it's just a small one to move you forward towards your goals is better than just writing them down and never looking at them again. Quite recently for example I just came back to Canada and right away I signed up for a new gym membership to get back into shape again from all my travels. Even something as simple as that is more than enough because I'm taking the actions.
3) Don't dwell in the past - This one was a tough one for me as I tend to dwell a lot in the past but the biggest shift for me is that realizing that you're not a time traveler you can't go back and change whatever has happened. Instead focus on the energy on the NOW. The present moment you're living right now. Sometimes people dwell too much on the past and that stops them from having amazing experiences in life, it keeps them stagnant, stuck in one place, and you're unable to move forward. Focus your energy on the present moment. I learned this while traveling and speaking to an awesome international speaker Philip Mckernan
I hope you found this very insightful and enjoyed this episode.

How To Think Like A Possibility Hacker
This time around I interviewed Shelli Varela, first female firefighter in Canada’s 6th largest city. Graced the tedx stage twice, podcast host of the yes effect podcast.
She embodies the path hunters spirit, and what she calls the possibility hacking, deciding that she wanted to pursue a career of a firefighter but at the time there were not female fiire fighters. Later on she asked herself a question “why not me?” The only catch was Shelli is 5’2” and 108lbs. That didn’t stop here though she was determined and after 1162 days later she became a full fledged firefighter.
A huge thing that Shelli mentioned is that it was her ability to constantly say yes and decided to take action which enabled her to do so much. She was living, breathing and visualizing every single day of that phone telling her she got the job as a firefighter.
Then it dawned on her, she has cracked the formula and did the impossible, she became a firefighter and this exact same power helped her stand in front on stage and gave 2 TEDx talks. She calls it possibility hacking.
Shortly after that she created the Yes Effect podcast where she interviews entrepreneurs, and people who just constantly said yes to their dreams and their lives and now helps other women empower themselves to live their dreams.
She is actually featured on Chris Guillebeau’s book – Born For This
I really loved interviewing Shelli as she dropped amazing insights and hearing her journey, her challenges and struggles but the point of it all was that she overcame and beat the odds.

Hey Hey path hunters,
Todays guest is one I look up to very much so. A speaker that has inspired me to take the leap of faith and take a trip to Thailand. He works with orphans in different parts of the country, an Inspirational Speaker, Writer, Filmmaker and has shared the stage with people such as the Dalai lama and Richard Brandson. My guest today is Philip Mckernan everyone.
And a side note, i really love what I do as a podcaster because I get to interview amazing people such as Philip here and it’s always a learning curve for me so this time around I interview him and was completely pushed to my limits, and happy to speak to someone I look up to very much so. So this episode there will be a lot of me being vulnerable asking Philip on things that I’m working through to better serve and impact.
Philip touched on a few topics and his views on how to be vulnerable and how people are using vulnerbility today, hiw thoughts on dealing with the past, and his projects with one last talk and give and grow.
So without a further a due, here is the one and only Philip Mckernan!
Hey fellow path hunters,
This episode I'd like share some tips on how to approach mentors, or having virtual mentors.
Most of the time people tell you to find mentors, and learn from them. The one thing that they don't tell you is how to find a mentor, when the mentor doesn't have time.

Hey hey path hunters!
really wanted to take the time to go over why you should think entrepreneurially even though you don't have an desires of creating a multi-million dollar business. Starting side hustle could be very beneficial as it creates another source of income for you. That way you if there were any changes to your life such as having a new born child, or newly married, then you're able to adapt and pivot easily because most likely you'll be thinking about buying a house or a car.
Another point is that you may want to leave your career and focus on the side hustle as it has matched your income or if you just got laid off and you're able to depend on the side hustle for a short period of time.
Lastly and this is happening in Canada and the US that the living standard is rising, but wages aren't keeping up with it fast enough so by creating a side hustle that generates income for you, you're then able to maintain this living standard.

As I move through the motions of life, there will come so many obstacles in front of you. Whether it's your family wanting you to be safe, and come back, whether it's financial related, whether it's a fight against yourself.
We're all human and all this is normal. As much as you want to turn back and be where it's safe, realize that if you do go back you'll want to be exactly where you are today!
So don't give up. Just keep walking, keep saying "yes."
Have faith that everything will work out. As long as it's coming from the right place and you are 100% genuine then everything will work out. I know that deep down somehow or someway this will all work out.
Continue the fight.
This is a message to all you brave path hunters out there. You WILL MAKE IT.
Believe, have faith!
I love you all.

Beautiful Path Hunters,
This episode is quite interesting I recently connect with a Youtuber named Riley Bennett where he has a travel channel called Living that life. We decided to collaborate and did a video podcast.
It was my first video podcast and it was a great experience where I had to share this with all the path hunters listening to the podcast.
We can into much details about our journey and how different yet similar our paths are but ended up in the same place in Thailand.
Riley spoke about his whole entire journey how he left his job and took off with his best friend to Thailand to start a few business projects that ended up not working.
Why he started youtube, and some of his mindset.
It was definitely fun to do this episode with him.
You can check out the video itself in the shownotes page at

Amazing path hunters,
Today’s guest I have a good friend of mine Filip Sierpinski who is the host of your next chapter podcast where he’s all about personal growth and has interview many transformational coaches and entrepreneurs.
My interview with Filip is amazing where we talk about alot of things, and about his new course that he is launching, where it’s all about helping you Discover systems that will ensure you reach your goal, 10x your productivity and efficiency, develop how to properly manage your time to start living the life you want.
We spoke about why he got into podcasting, and why he chose podcasting as his plateform compared to youtube or any other ones.
Where he sees podcasting going from here.
How he overcame his struggles with being a bisexual man and his advice to someone who is going through the same thing he went through.
Filip also shared some tips from his new course on how to set goals, and what to do on those off days where you just aren’t getting much done.
That along with many more value bombs that Filip dropped.
Hey Fellow path hunters!
Adversities is the greatest teachers for you. After going through so much adversities in my life, I’ve learnt so many values and characteristics that allows me to touch people, learning values such as forgiveness, gratitude, helped me to stay humble and grounded.
All this will be apart of my new book that will be launching in kindle.

My guest today has an amazing story to tell, she left her job to go travel around the world for a year with a company called Remote year. She is now focusing on other projects and is super passionate about it.
Kate was a part of remote year where they have 75 people travel together for 1 year and at the same time maintain remote jobs where they can work online.

Fellow Path hunters, a good friend of mine connected me and my guest here today as he thought I would resonate with my guest’s journey and what she’s been through.
And Boy! he was right. , you know sometimes you know that you have this inner calling inside you, calling you to go somewhere in the world, and experience you’re meant to experience. Which leads me to say that today’s guest followed her inner calling. She’s done some amazing things, she’s a holistic therapist, yoga teacher, storyteller, mental health advocate, speaker, and writer. I have in the house Laurita Gorman, Laurita is such a beautiful soul where we had an amazing conversation about her journey, and how everything I resonate with so much, it got to the point where I felt like a parrot for repeating everything.
Laurita talks about her calling to India even though she didn’t speak the language, had never been there before, she just knew that she had to go there and go there alone.
And so much more,
check out all the info at pathhunters.com
and how to support Laurita as well.
I love you all

Paul Lam
Fellow path hunters Its your friend paul Lam here back again for another awesome episode. Around this time last year as I realized that I wanted to be so much more than someone who works his corporate 9-5 job and live pay check to pay check. So as a path hunter I had to intentionally seek out a community with like minded individuals such as myself to connect with. So one day I connected with a group of local toronto entrepreneurs attending a conference where I connected with so many people, asking them questions, learing from everyone. And so this is the one thing I wanted to point out that because I did that and I intentionally went out I connected with my guest today Paul Milano.
So I have paul in the house today and hes a friend of mine that I connected with here locally where I am.
He was a Former shy and nerdy kid who found his path through health and fitness.Paul helps people learn systems and habits to create a more powerfully productive and charged life. What does that mean? Anything to help you become more fit, more productive, achieve greater results and leave a powerful impression. Find out how to get more done by noon then most all day at www.paulmilano.com
Greetings Fellow Path Hunters.
Checking in from Chiangmai Thailand here, after a week long struggle with figuring out how to solve my money problem, a place to stay, and venturing into a place that I've never been before in my life I think everything has been sorted out.
This leads me to say that this by no means was easy, it was gosh darn hard and uncomfortable even for me. My message for everyone listening to this is that if you're trying something new in your life, it's definitely not going to come easy you will feel uncomfortable and it will make you want to run backwards the other to whats most comfortable for you.
BUT DON'T DO IT!
If you decide to go back you'll want to go back to where you are right now when you get too comfortable and you'll be stuck in this loop.
PUSH ON FORWARD, AND RISE ABOVE THIS PROCESS.
get inspired by all this.

Hey beautiful Path Hunters,
I'll tell you a bit right now, that it kicks in a bit later, stepping into who you really are, giving up everything to leave go to a country that you've never been, prepared to build a business around your lifestyle.
It takes a bit of time to kick in and realize all this is happening, but when it does its an amazing feeling.
Right now I'm going through that process and I don't know what to say, other than I cant believe I'm doing this but I'm doing this for the impact, for my calling, for my dreams, and especially for those I am SERVING. Creating a positive impact in people, have them get ignited and feel amazing.
with that being said I will update everyone on what's going on when I arrive.
to all my path hunters I love you all,
thank you for listening.

With that being said I leave you with this
Remember that life has it's ups and down just also remember that you should try to stack the cards into your favour as much as you can.
Tipping the scale in your favour.
Take care fellow path hunters and live your life freely and beautifully.
Beautiful Path Hunters!
Alot has happened in the past 2 weeks I have left my corporate 9-5 job and about to embark on my new journey to Thailand. To get to this point in time there is some prepping involved here.
To get to this point you have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone, being too comfortable and content will keep you safe but you won't grow. So by being intentional and making uncomfortable choices you learn and you grow.
If you repeat this process then you'll be able to take on more larger choices that are uncomfortable.
BUT the key thing is to start small, little baby steps to condition yourself and desensitize yourself from it.
So at www.pathhunters.com when you sign up to the email list I've attached a small 5 day path hunters challenge that gets you out of your comfort zone in baby steps!
All you have to do is sign up and go into your email and download it :)
It's small yet big challenges that I've done myself to help me grow and allowed me to get to where I am today :)
It's my hope that this will help you to get started!
Remember check out www.pathhunters.com to sign up
I love you all thank you so much
stay awesome and stay beautiful :)
Beautiful Path Hunters!
Another coffee chat with your friend Paul Lam, today we're going to talk about what is possible, and what is impossible the fact is that its based on mindset.
Life is a process, and if you use statements such as "its impossible" "theres alot of risk involved." why not take the time to try and make it possible.
Believe in your own abilities to make the impossible possible for yourself.
Check out this episode its very organic and raw.
If you love this take a look at the website

Fellow Path Hunters,
This episode we're going to talk about networking, and how it can help you with your growth, your business, your life.
Most of the time people tend to think that being an entrepreneur/ digital nomad you have to go at this alone, its usually not the case. It helps a lot if you surround yourself with like-minded people who share the same passion, drive, and almost the same goals as you.
So this leads me to say that your network is your net worth.
So how do you seek out this net work of friends?
Very simple actually but you have to tune into this episode and find out.
I'll leave it at that,
I love you all, remember that we are in this together
take care my friends!
Even though life is scary, uncomfortable when chasing your bliss, but even though you feel these feelings you have to ask yourself if you're still willing to do this? Are you willing to run through pivot, move around, and dodge to chase that thing that makes you happy?
Hell yeah you can!
Yes you can do this, and yes you will!
We're in this together, let's ignite our souls and grab our dreams!
I love you all!
have a wonderful day!
Hey Everyone,
This episode we're going to be diving between you and the path that you've chosen, and that if you're willing to take that path that has all the unknowns, or will you stay back and stick to the one where our society has instilled onto on.

I hope that you will choose the path into the unknown with me.
Together we can do this :)

Amazing Path Hunters,
People usually take time to plan out their escape plan to leave their corporate 9-5 job, but they end up focusing on perfecting it, to the point where they may not even take the step at all. Its never about perfecting it but its all about taking the imperfect action.

Words are very powerful, if you're using disempowering words, such as I can't I won't its too hard, it's impossible. These kinds of statements would stop you from growing it'll leave you in a place you're content with your life and playing small.
Empowering words such as I'll try, it's not impossible, I can do it, how can I do it?

Ryan Biddulph – Blogging from Paradise
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Ryan Biddulph of bloggingfromparadise.com. Ryan has spent the last five years doing something many of us only dream about - he island-hops from one paradise to another and blogs his adventures. His travels have taken him to so many exotic places around the globe, it might be faster to list where he HASN'T been. During our discussion, we chatted about how you can create income from blogging and adapt the things he's learned to create a level of freedom in your life.
What follows are a few powerful points from our chat, but as always, I encourage you to check out the full interview on the PathHunters.com website.
1. It’s often at our darkest moments that our path reveals itself.
Eight years ago, Ryan had been fired from his security guard job, where he had been working 18-hour shifts. He had developed incredibly limiting beliefs concerning money and entrepreneurship, and as a result, the stress (and his debt) mounted. He felt abandoned and lost at the time. It was from that dark place that Ryan decided that he couldn’t go back to the standard 9-5, he could no longer bear the thought of leaving his destiny and career in the hands of others.
2. You don’t have to be a genius to begin.
Ryan didn’t even know what blogging was when he began. He knew how to check ESPN.com and his email. The internet was this mysterious “thing” out there that seemed incomprehensible. When is wife told him about blogging and using it as a business, he decided to give it a try. After some initial struggles, Ryan was able to monetize it enough to travel the world, eventually deciding to share his experiences and expertise with others.
3. Be careful what you focus on.
One the reasons Ryan struggled so much in the beginning was that he was focused on getting money. When one is focused on getting, they are less focused on giving. It seems counterintuitive, but people who focus on getting money, usually don’t make very much. When your focus changes to giving value and making real connections with people, you will often receive far more. In the end if we all focus on giving, then we all end up receiving.
4. Your network is your net worth.
Ryan was fortunate if that he had a strong network of friends and family who supported him no matter what he did. It’s important to surround yourself with people who want the best for you, and who trust you to do the right thing, but also those who will occasionally challenge you when you falter, giving that gentle but firm nudge to keep going along your chosen path.
5. Do some housecleaning.
One of the first thing Ryan had to do to create real success with his blogging was to clear out a lot of the limiting beliefs and attitudes he had developed over time. This “letting go” is often far more difficult than we realize, but it’s essential to moving forward and following your path.

Could you imagine quitting your job and travelling around the world full time? For many of us, it's a dream of freedom, for others, a nightmare of uncertainty. Recently I had the opportunity to chat with Jules and Christine from Don’t Forget to Move, a resource for adventure travel and responsible tourism.
During our talk, we discussed the pros and cons of the nomadic lifestyle, and the importance of living your life’s purpose.
As always, you can check out the full conversation on the PathHunters website: http://pathhunters.com/
Jules and Christine were both graduates of International Studies in college before meeting each other in Peru while volunteering with relief efforts there in early 2012. Their shared love of travel, combined with their passion for non-profit work around the globe sent them on adventures throughout the world, from private Caribbean paradises in the Corn Islands and cruising through Cuba, to volunteering with marginalized women’s groups in Mexico and helping create livelihood programs in Tacloban after typhoon Haiyan.
They use their blog Don’t Forget to Move http://dontforgettomove.com to advocate for responsible tourism, share their incredible experiences with the world, and show people how they can tap into the benefits of travel, regardless of their finances, physical ability, age or experience. It’s become a treasure trove of information, inspiration and advice on incorporating travel into our everyday lives.
First and foremost, you must be honest with yourself about the kind of lifestyle you want to lead. While travelling the world and seeing new things sounds exciting, it must be balanced with the knowledge of what you’re leaving behind: stability, friends and family, etc.
Indeed, even veteran travellers like Jules and Christine have begun to realize that they must slow down a little, staying in one place for a month or more before moving on. The fact is, the nomadic lifestyle is not suited to everyone. Jules shared a story in which they were in El Salvador, and hadn’t met any travellers for some time. When he called home to speak to his parents, the sound of his father’s voice released a torrent of homesickness he didn’t even know he had possessed, leaving him in tears.
The fact is, most of us simply don’t have the ability or the resources to quit our jobs and become nomads. The good news is you don’t have to.
Travel can be more than just arriving at a destination and buying a few souvenirs. Jules and Christine have incorporated community service into their travels, helping non-profits and aid organizations in areas around the world. Not only does do they get to see beautiful and exotic places and meet people from other cultures, they are also making a positive impact while they do it. They call it responsible tourism.
The idea is to visit and explore a place and its people, and leave it in a better condition than when you found it. This makes travel and vacationing not just relaxing and fun, but personally fulfilling as well.
Being a Path Hunter is all about finding your life’s purpose, the thing that sets your soul on fire and allows you to be the best version of yourself. Responsible tourism is a fantastic way to expand your view of the world, while simultaneously having a positive impact on it.
Whether you decide to become a nomad like Jules and Christine, or just opt for a short adventure in a far away land, remember that your visit has an impact whether you realize it or not. Why not make it a positive one? Who knows, you might just find your calling far from home.

Figuring out one's path is difficult, and thats why you have to learn to open your mind to take in all the information that all the great creators, entrepreneurs, digital nomads have to share with you.
Each guest interviews provided amazing values on how to get started and taking control of your life. Each time I do an interview I reflect and learn from every guest. I take in all the information that they gave and apply it to my life in my own way.
Are you willing to step up to the plate and put in the work after you've found your path?
That all depends on you.
6 Things you Need to Know About Being a Digital Nomad
Have you ever dreamed of leaving everything behind and travelling the world? It sounds like a fantasy, but in the 21st century, the internet and mobile technology is making the dream of the "digital nomad" a reality for many. Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with Jason Moore of the Zero to Travel podcast.
Zero to Travel is a podcast with a powerful mission: to help people travel the world on their terms no matter what their situation or experience. Over many years of travelling and meeting people Jason began to observe how people were incorporating travel into their lives. He became passionate about helping people explore the myriad options available to them when travelling the world. With his friend and business partner Travis he's created a paid community called "Location Indie" that helps people looking to become location independent find and connect with others with the same mindset.
Our full conversation was flowing and unstructured, "nomadic" if you will, but also quite enlightening. I encourage you to check out the entire thing at pathunters.com. In the meantime, here are 6 things you need to know about becoming a digital nomad, according to Jason.
It’s not as simple as it seems, but also not as hard. It seems counterintuitive, but becoming a digital nomad is both simple and complex, depending on how you look at it. Logistically, it’s quite simple. You can quit your job, give your two weeks notice and be on a plane the next day if you chose. However, as with any big change in life, there are bound to be obstacles. Often these obstacles will come from within. Questions such as, “If I quit my job am I giving up my career? Is this going to hurt me in the long run? How am I going to earn money?” must be addressed before making such a huge change in your life.
You need to start with an intention. Once you make the decision that this is something you want to do, you need to commit to it. Starting with an intention allows you to build the confidence you’ll need to overcome obstacles and find more creative ways to achieve your goal.
Understand that it may not happen right away. Major life changes like this require a period of transition. Very few of us are in a position to quit our jobs and leave on a plane tomorrow for parts unknown. You have to accept that you’re investing in this process by educating yourself.
When developing a location independent business, start with your skills. A big part of being a digital nomad is of course having a location independent income source. More than likely this will be some sort of small business. The first step in creating such a business is to look through your skill set and find something you can offer to people. For example, perhaps you’re really organized and know your way around social media. You could offer your services as a virtual assistant. Everyone has at least one skill that can be turned into some sort of service. The trick is to be creative.
Look to existing resources. Platforms like upwork.com and Fiverr.com allow you to put your services out there quickly and easily, giving you the opportunity to build experience and a client base. If you make artwork, you can sell items through Etsy.com. These sites offer you the opportunity to get your business going quickly and easily.
Give yourself permission to make mistakes. Understand that, in the beginning, you’re going to make a lot of mistakes – this is the simple truth. If you can make peace with that idea, you’ll be able to weather them far more easily and more importantly, learn from them.
The life of a digital nomad is not for everyone of course, but for those with the right mindset and a taste for adventure, it can be an incredibly empowering and life-changing experience. If you’d like to know more about becoming a digit
I love doing these solo-episodes where we can connect and inspire. Today's topic will be about listening to your inner voice.
When you're working a job, or in a relationship that you simply don't enjoy, or provides you with so much pain. This is your inner voice telling you that there has to be a change.
This inner voice of yours only wants you to chase what you love, what you're passionate about.
Dig deep down within yourself and find that inner voice and listen to it.
It only wants the best for you.

This episode we're going to talk about never underestimating your impact.
Whenever you connect someone you always leave an impression behind, whether you know it or not you are your own brand.
You leave an impression by talking to them, by just standing there and how you hold yourself together.
now whether the impression is positive or negative is totally up to you.
will you leave a positive impact? or a negative one?
Hey Everyone,

Let's talk about unleashing your inner beast! As most of you know that I keep saying this phrase all the time unleash your inner beast what does it mean?!
It means that I know that deep down everyone has a burning desire, a spark a fire within them that they know that they're meant for so much more. So much passion. So much more than their cubicle 9-5 job going through the same route to work, same people you meet, same desk.
My question for you is are you willing to spend the next 30 to 40 years of your life doing the same thing over and over again?
Are you willing to do the same commute back and for rain or shine, winter and summer until you’re 65?!
we only have one life to live, and its only up to you to make that choice to chase your purpose and passion whatever it may be.

Hi my fellow path hunters!
Today's episode will be about disconnecting yourself and unplugging from the internet once in awhile.
With so much information and lots of things going around us, I am a huge advocate on keeping things simple, and if you're stressed or overworked take the time to remove yourself for awhile.
Disconnect from all your social media, all your phones, and electronics and take some time to yourself.
Meditation is one of the things I've taken up and has helped me in my moments of stressed.
Whenever I feel a bit overwhelmed or overworked, meditation has helped me through it, I may seem a bit odd but definitely give it a try and once you come back to work you'll feel a little bit different.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little snippet, remember to go back and listen to the other episodes.

For today’s special guest Johnny FD explains that he quit his well paying job in California in 2008 to move to Thailand to become a scuba instructor and fought professionally as a Muay Thai Fighter. It wasn’t until in 2013 being broke he made his first $100 online off a business he started which sold for $60,000.
Now he spends his time being a digital nomad traveling around the world and creating more income streams through Udemny course, affiliate marketing, he's written books, and even has his own podcast!!
I just had to have him on, his story literally inspired me so listen to that specific episode over and over again to just try and dissect everything and get myself motivated.
It was truly an honour to have him onto the podcast and he shares his insight about his story a bit more, he goes into opening up to talk about how he retired his parents and it truly resonated with me a lot. I loved having him on because I want to show you guys, the listeners that once you get past the fears, doubts, and overcome all the obstacles you come out a changed person doing amazing things.

Hey Everyone,
Another organic episode from spur of the moment.
If someone is offering you some advice, think about it for a moment on if they’ve done. Or even ask them yourself, “how is that working for you?” if you get something along the line as “oh no I haven't had the time or money to do it, but you should do it”
In this situation just smile and let it go out the other ear. Don't waste your time with that.
If you’re going to achieve a goal or something, you’re going to mimic or study the people who’ve done it, who has the results, where its trackable, where they are literally living what they’re preaching.
There is a lot of noise out there, so be very selective. I’ve learnt this the hard way, and I’m here to look out for you guys.
When I was launching this podcast, I looked up to people such as Jason Moore, Lewis Howes, Pat Flynn, Tim Ferriss Why? Because they have a full blown podcast, and have a huge audience. I’ve studied them. Mimicked them and then turned it into my own, which is why we're here today haha They're the big players, and to stand among giants you need to replicate it.
So be selective. Do your research and make sure the information is backed up by the results.
Please be sure to be share this, and email me your thoughts at Paul@pathhunters.com
Hey everyone!
This episode I'll be talking about something that happened to me in 2014 - it was very traumatic but not only did I overcome this experience I came back ready to impact the world!
Here were the 5 things I've learnt from this experience and I hope it will help you as much as it has helped me.
So 5 things I’ve learnt from all this to help you apply this in your daily lives - and you don't have to go through
with all things in your life it all starts within yourself - you have to want to make the choice yourself consciously, you have to want the change - smokers won’t quit smoking with external factors hounding them - it has to be internally. So make the choice to change your life!
after going through this experience I have a much greater appreciate mainly because of the outcome - I was grateful that me and my parents walked out of that. But! How you can apply this to your life I found myself appreciating so much more, even the little things, the simple summer breeze the sun shining, being able to create this episode and being able to impact someone's life across the internet. So go over a few things you’d be grateful for and i'm 100% sure you can find something .
Letting go and not holding on to something that had past.
this was a tough one but letting go of something that happened to you in the past so you can move forward into the future. It took awhile to let go of this and one day I just said you know what this is not going to stop me! You cant change the past, it’s already happened so focus on the moment now and look towards the future. A great exercise for this is that you write down what you’ve been holding onto or something had happened to you write it down on a piece of paper then burn it! And throw it out! Its you letting go! It's you saying this is not going to take control of me.
Loving yourself more.
Through all the meditation and learning and growing, I started to know myself more, I started to know what my strengths are and what my weaknesses are - and as gary vee always says double down on your strengths ! so take the time and look at yourself in the mirror and just stare into your reflection. And think about how far you’ve come, how much you’ve been through, and smile - notice everything about yourself and love yourself. Once you love yourself you can be able to feel wonderful in your own skin.
5) Start today!
Making the choice, being grateful, letting go, and loving yourself can start today! Make the choice today! I know that each person has their own path to walk. Their own journey, their own quest. But even if you make the choice today I’m sure you can live a much happier life. I know I’m a lot happier putting all these things in place.

Completely organic episode, after talking to an 18 year old at my local Starbucks where I usually do my work, he was telling me how he creates music. He's very passionate and enjoys it. He goes on telling me that he wants to put his music out there to the world but scared about what people would think about it.
You should listen to what I had to say to him.
I also didn't hit new and noteworthy but thats alright, I'm definitely in this for the long. It's my passion and what I enjoy. I love sending out my message.

Do you find yourself working a corporate job that you dislike or feeling unfullfiled?
Finding it hard to stay positive when there is so much stacked against you?
Staying positive and having the right attitude is really tough to maintain when feeling trapped in a job that you dislike.
Two very simple steps I take, Drink a bottle or two of water in the morning, then I ask myself 3 things I’m grateful for. I always say I'm grateful for my mom, dad, and brother. I’m Going to be a great entrepreneur that creates positive impact to everyone I come in contact with, and i'm in the relationship of my dreams.
Another positive exercise I usually practise is that whenever I feel a bit stressed or overwhelmed with work or something, go outdoors and just close your eyes ,and soak in the moment, it should only take about 3-5 mins for you to relax and calm down, and put yourself in the right place again. You have to remember that when you're stressed out, your mind is filled with many emotions that clouds your judgement, and ability to get things done.
