Navid lived most of his life in Iran but in 2013 he was forced into hiding when people discovered his sexuality. He realised to be the person he wanted to be he would have to flee Iran, leaving behind everyone and everything he knew.
Anna was a dancer, growing up it was the only time she felt like she was in the right place. But she hasn't danced in almost 20 years, since her father passed away during her first months at the VCA where she was studying contemporary dance.
Wendy is a screen printer, poster maker, artist and social activist. I spent the weekend in Sydney collaborating with her on a poster. While I was with her we sat down and talked about being adopted and meeting her birth father.
