Poet Man & The Chronicler has now been launched!
Episode 1 – Laugh as we try our first podcast with interruptions from Ziggy (our mascot dog) and hear me struggle with my sleep deprivation.
Although I joke, there is a serious point to this podcast: we noticed that although there are national podcasts that cover literature, there is a lack of local broadcasts that cover poetry and writing.
Each week we invite listeners to submit their poetry or writing to be read out and discussed the following week. We also include readings from our own work and talk about any upcoming events (including Will's Open Mic night).
Enjoy and please 'Like' and Share :-)
On this episode we discuss Stephen Kings’ latest book and I talk about innocent Italian words that sound like the ultimate insults. Poetman reads some great stuff and we start drinking way to soon! Also you will find out about blank postcards and how they can be used. It doesn’t get more exciting than this!
Hello everybody!
This is the festive xmas edition of the podcast where we discuss the novels and poetry that we have enjoyed in 2015. There is another Noah's Chronicles, I attempt another poem and also struggle to keep upright after only having two hours sleep. Will has sandwiched this podcast with two songs, that focus on the gritty and puke stained version of Christmas and the dark underbelly of internet consumerism.
Have a darn good Christmas!
Ben & Will
Welcome friends, writers, listeners and general wonderful people to episode 3! This week we are honoured to have a local poet, and Nag's Head poetry night regular, Kevin Hudson read some of his great poetry. I have resurrected a short story called 'The Spare Room' and Will tells us all about his adventures in the world of Spoken Word poetry.
Poet Man & The Chronicler - Episode 2
Well it's been a while but we're back with our second poetry and literary podcast! Listen to Will's talented verse and marvel at my terrible accents. We also include some clips from some brilliant local poets and talk about some upcoming events. Cheers!
