The Thousand Year Legacy is a podcast that captures and shares the knowledge, experiences, wisdom, insight and passion of current and upcoming leaders functioning in a variety of industries. Our conversation will bridge the gap between both personal and professional aspects of life with the objective is to provide listeners with new insight and ideas that enables them to succeed in their life journey as they build their own Thousand Year Legacy. We discuss the meaning of leadership and what it means to be a mentor. The discussions vary across a broad range of subjects and life experiences to build a foundation that is both relatable and meaningful for listeners.
To know Eulaine Lashley is to understand that success is never in a straight line, but rather is a series of God moments which open doors we never would have thought possible. Eulanie's journey from being a girl from a tiny island in the middle of the Caribbean to the leader she is now is nothing short of breathtaking. Her professional experience includes work as a teacher, financial analyst, and director of finance. Currently, she serves as the Chief Operations Officer of AdventHealth Apopka & AdventHealth Winter Garden located in Central Florida.
Eulanie is a strong believer in the power of learning and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Andrews University, and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. An educator at heart, Eulanie has seen the critical role knowledge plays in transformation. As a result, teaching, mentorship and a natural curiosity about people and processes are the hallmarks of her leadership. Eulanie is a servant leader whose greatest joy is developing others while working to display the heart of Christ.
In addition to her professional successes, Eulanie is most grateful for her husband Rossyl and her two beautiful children Nathan and Natalie.
John Caldwell is the President of John Caldwell Ministries, a church consultancy service company. John leads seminars in parenting, spiritual disciplines, and evangelism. John is published author of several outstanding books and continues to write. He is the retired Lead Pastor of Kingsway Christian Church in Avon, Indiana, where he preached and led his congregation for an amazing 36 year journey. John understands leadership at both a spiritual level and organizational level, and stresses the need for trust, honesty, integrity and respect in every leadership relationship. His walk with God has not always been perfect, and he explains that growth in his relationship with the Lord is a daily activity. Carolyn Caldwell is currently the President and CEO of St. Mary Medical Center (Dignity Health) in Long Beach, California. St. Mary is a 389-bed academic facility with a Level II Trauma Center that offers extensive healthcare services to the greater Long Beach Community. Carolyn is a healthcare executive with over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry.
A Medical Technologist by training, Carolyn earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Alabama A&M University in Zoology and Chemistry and her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
Carolyn is an action-oriented executive who has a reputation for working collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive results and community alignment. Carolyn has always had a passion for working with communities and for working with vulnerable or under representative populations. She is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives, California Hospital Association Board of Trustee, ACHE Governor and Board Member of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce 2021-2022. Carolyn is a past member of the AHA Region 6 Policy Board and past Chair of the AHA Institute for Diversity for Health Management. Carolyn is a former board member of the American Hospital Association (AHA). Carolyn served as the Chair of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce during the 2016-2017 FY.
Carolyn and her husband Daniel are the proud parents of two adult children Jonathon who resides in Seattle and Monique who resides in Atlanta with her husband Sean and two daughters Savannah and Sasha.
Michelle Scullin Crute is a Lean professional with 17+ year of engineering, change management, supply chain management and operational leadership experience. She is the Founder and President of LEANbrella, and multi-faceted consulting company focused on helping companies exceed their own expectations. Her professional experience includes roles in organizations such as Tesla, United Technologies Aerospace Systems, STG Aerospace, Goodrich Corporation and more. She has her BS in Engineering Technology and a MS in Manufacturing System, both from BYU. She is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt and is currently working to complete her PhD in Industrial Psychology. Dr. Christophersen is currently the Regional Chief Nursing Officer with Prime Healthcare overseeing 17 hospitals in California and Nevada.
She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Arizona State University, a master's degree in business administration from Keller Graduate School and a doctorate in nursing practice – executive leadership from American Sentinel University. Dr. Christophersen has served in various executive leadership roles in the past 20 years from CEO, COO and CNO. Prior to her executive experience, she had various Director level positions in the non-profit industry.
Dr. Christophersen maintains many professional affiliations including ACHE, AONL, ACNL, Sigma Theta Tau and NAHQ. She has served in leadership roles at local and national ACHE and ACNL chapters and was President of the Health Advisory Publishers Editorial Board. She has also served as an editorial board member for AONL and is a founding board member of the Chi Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau and has published various articles on leadership in healthcare. She serves as an Expert Witness for the California Board of Nursing.
Dr. Christophersen has been with her husband for 26 years and is the proud mother of three children: a 34 year old son who lives in Montana; a 29 year old daughter that lives in Arizona; and an 12 year old son. She is also the grandmother of a very "diva" 10 year old granddaughter. She enjoys reading, golf, baseball, beach time, and crochet in her "free" time.
Bob Morin is an experienced Operational Excellence Leader with a demonstrated history of Lean Transformation in both batch-and-queue and continuous flow manufacturing environments. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, he is able to diagnose process and system problems while applying lean principles and DMAIC tools to remove waste and variation. A strong engineering professional skilled in Project Management, Leadership, Lean Implementation, Turnaround situations, M&A methods, Operations Management, Reliability Engineering, Training and Education, Total Productive Maintenance through Continuous Improvement. Bob started his career in the U.S. Navy as a Sonar Technician and over the last 25 years has worked for companies like Johnson & Johnson, KIK Industries, Easton Aerospace and Altium Packaging. He is a husband of 27 years, Father of 3, Fisherman, Sports fanatic, and Chili contest winner!

William Friend is a 25 year veteran of the Indiana House of Representatives. He has served in multiple roles in both local and state government and continues to be active in many different areas. He is a servant at heart and has a deep love for both his state and county. Raised in the country, Bill understands the meaning and value of hard work. Offering a unique and refreshing perspective, Nicole Brindle is a Junior at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana where she studies Business and Management and plays softball. She is a graduate of Attica high School in Attica, Indiana, and has been actively involved in softball, golf and wrestling. Nicole acknowledges that her perspective on college has changed from her freshman year, and realizes that there are many things in life that she is just now starting to truly understand. She provides some valuable insight for parents with kids already in or preparing to head to college, high school student preparing to start their college years, and young people in general regarding the important things in life. Lani Dickinson is an overcomer, period. She has pulled herself up from circumstances which most people could not comprehend. Her passion is helping women overcome. Currently she is the CEO of Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock CA. A clinician by trade who has served as the Western Region Chief Nursing Executive for Tenet Healthcare, the Chief Operating Office for Lakewood Medical Center, and a host of other leadership roles. Stephen Douglas Williford has also been a part of the FedEx Leadership Institute, teaching oral and written communication skills. His undergraduate degree is from Lipscomb University in Speech. Kendra is the Operational Excellence Leader for the Missouri Department of Conservation where she leads strategic and operational planning, Customer Experience, Employee Engagement and Continuous Improvement activities. Kendra has over 25 years in healthcare leadership roles but started in the healthcare field as a Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnography Technologist. She is also the co-owner of Grace Designs which creates unique, custom apparel, gifts, and promotional products. Her products and designs are amazing!

Steve Latham is a Risk Control Manager with United Fire Group Insurance, an organization that has been protecting people since 1946. Steve is a certified Safety Professional with over 30 year of experience in the insurance and risk industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Occupational Safety and General Industrial Technology from Illinois State University. Steve lives in Veedersburg, IN with his lovely wife Judy. Justin Hodge is my oldest son, he was born legally blind but your would never know if by listening to him, reviewing his accomplishments or hearing others talk about him. He is one of my heroes and has taught me the true meaning of determination. As a Marine, I thought I knew what discipline and perseverance was until I became the father to a little boy who refused to avoid challenges, make excuses or accept defeat. His story of unwavering courage and strength is an encouragement to anyone facing a seemingly insurmountable obstacle or to those who are faced with a limitation that the world sees as a disability. Justin is proof that the only limitations that can defeat us are those that we chose to accept and surrender to.
