As the saying goes, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Or can you? The Brothers Rosilio, Jimmy and Tommy, are putting that notion to the test in this family-oriented music podcast. Their father, Anthony, was a massive music fan in the glory days of his youth; now, he’s an aged, decrepit, decidedly unhip 50-something. But he’s still got that burning passion for recorded sound waves, a passion he passed down to his sons over the last 20 years. He molded and shaped these brothers’ taste, forcing them through God knows how many Run DMC songs as they grew up. This podcast is their opportunity to finally turn the tables on the old fart and show him some music from TODAY. Will Anthony enjoy the myriad of new sounds that have emerged since his heyday? Or will he sit in torturous agony, covering his fragile ears? The answer: probably a bit of both.

However, the old codger has familiarity on his side this time; he’s actually a fan of Oneohtrix’s film scores!
