On Monday 26th October, Melissa Owusu presented the Launch of the campaign 'Why Is My Curriculum White?' at Leeds University. The idea behind the campaign is to challenge the Eurocentric nature of university curriculums in the UK.

Leeds Liberal Youth and The Mind Matters Society co-host a talk and Q&A session with Norman Lamb MP, Minister for Care and Support.
Throughout the year, Leeds Liberal Youth and The Mind Matters Society have encouraged and engaged in discussion of Mental Health policy, so we are lucky to have the Minister responsible discuss these issues with us.

Leeds Labour Club and the Mind Matters Society hosted a collaborative event about mental health policy, both at university and nationally. With the run up to the 2015 General Election, it is vital that there is a proper discussion about mental health services in the UK. This event will embrace a wider discussion about Mental Health challenges in the workplace, in places of Education and most importantly in the NHS. John Woodcock was asked to talk at Leeds University Union, after he recently spoke openly about his experience with clinical depression.
