Our character is something that we need to constantly work on and develop. I have this saying "habits make you", so whatever it is that you do on a daily basis, will create the character that you are playing, from little habits to daily actions. You don't need to make it more complicated than that, just do things that force you out of your comfort zone, and push you to grow, and your character will develop in a positive way. Don't let comfort of a girlfriend, safe job, and all that bullshit drag you into the mindset that "you've grown enough" and now you can relax, because that is never the truth. You'll sink into that comfort, until you're once again back at 0, needing to start ALL OVER again, which is a B*TCH.

A lot of us tend to follow the crowd because it is safe and easy, we are like sheep, amongst sheep. But there comes a point where we have to break through and do our own thing, and that time is very uncomfortable. In this podcast I talk about how I started doing my own thing and took ownership of my time.

it s not all about being productive, where is the joy in that? in life you also need to play a bit, enjoy your experience, rather than just living your existence for achieving. when you play a bit, when you give yourself a bit of space in you day to day life, productivity is easy, achieving is easy. Today we speak about honing your craft through spending more time alone so this way you can hone your craft. Most people will criticize you for being alone, they will tell you that you need friends, or that you need to be more social, but maybe, just maybe you don't want that. Maybe you want friends that are also griding, and hustling on the side, putting in that work, and the only way to get those types of people in your life, is if you're also putting in the work. So being alone and grinding it out, has it's purpose.

In this Episode I speak about how through discipline you can have more fuller experiences. In life you will come across multiple situations where you can either be disciplined, or you can be lazy. And the path you take, will have an effect on the outcome of your experience. If you act through discipline that will allow you to capture more opportunities, have fuller experiences, and have better long-lasting effects. If you act through laziness, that will do the opposite, you'll pass by opportunities, you experience will most likely be more dull, and the long-term effects will be diminished. Hear me get more in-depth on this topic by listening to this Podcast Episode.

Is the sacrifice of doing 'your own thing' really worth it? I think it is.
It ain't easy to start your own business. By doing so you might be sacrificing your work life, your social life, you might have to spend lots of time alone - planning, working, figuring shit out, to make this thing work. You will probably have to tread through discomfort to get to a point where you're enjoying the process of working for yourself.
But to be honest, if you think about the other side, 'the norm' of finding a job, working for someone else, letting them decide when you work and what you do while you're working. This might be comforting, but really is it? If you look a few years ahead, there isn't much that this type of lifestyle is giving you! You might get a bit of money, and maybe you learn something - but that something is 'most likely' not so valuable.
Now if you envision starting your own business, there is a big difference. Yes there is that initial discomfort, fear, 'the unknown'. But 5 years down the road... what do you see? I see a community of like-minded people, I see a future that has some meaning to it, I see MONEY! Lots of money. And besides all of this, all the shit that you will go through when starting your own business will have a much bigger impact on your learning than a regular job will ever.
I think it's about creating a reality which resonates with YOU. A reality which you gives you the opportunity to experience what you want to experience. A reality where you're surrounded by people who envision a similar future to yours.
And yes there are companies where this type of reality exists within the company - so if you find this, good for you!
But for those settling for regular jobs, and jobs that don't lead to a reality that is envisioned, well IDK about that. The comfort of this type of life is great, but it will most likely lead to a reality that is not so fulfilling.
And lastly, balance is key. It's not about quitting your job and just going for your own thing. You could do that, but it's much better to have a balance. Lessen your work hours so that you can put more time into things you love doing, and when you get to a point when you can detach from that 'normal job', then go all into doing what you love doing. It will pay off in the end.

Many small stories accumulate to what we call 'LIFE'. It's those small stories that define the life you live. Whether you sit at home all day and do nothing at all, or whether you go out in the world and actually live it, the decision is yours. A story can repeat itself, over and over again, until it's no longer recognizable, and this is what we call a mundane life, or 'not living at all'. On the other side of the spectrum we have lives which are 'lived', those lives which have many different stories, interesting stories, fascinating stories, stories that you want to hear.
I don't believe in the idea that you should spend your existence doing shit you do not like, rather I believe that life is here to be experienced, opportunities are meant to be seized, curiosity should be explored. Live a life of adventure, live a life that is worth living.

Money money money. What are your thoughts on money? What do you feel when you think of money? Do you feel anger, jealousy, fear, or maybe you feel happiness, freedom, love? For me the feeling associated with money used to be guilt... Why guilt? because my family never had much money, or when we did have some money we quickly spent it or lost it. This was the pattern of money throughout my childhood and my teens, until I finally realised so and made a change. It was my mother that really put the spotlight on the money habits our family had, because she was the one who was in charge of the money. I kept on seeing her spending money on pointless stuff like clothes, fast food, and things that our family didn't really need. When we'd go to the clothing store she'd force me to buy something - and now I realise that she did this because she wanted to get that dopamine hit. But after my experiences with my mother I started to focus on changing my money habits, I read a few good books like Millionare's Mind by T Harv Eker , Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki , and I started to practice what I read, putting money away into envelopes a technique I learned), and with time the money grew, I was spending less, and now I'm much better off when it comes to money. But I still have phases where I forget and go back to my old spending habits, I'm not perfect at it but I'm mproving. But the reason why I'm telling you all that is because if you never learn to manage your income then it will disapear and you'll end up broke, and when you're broke you can't do shitttt. Money might not make you happy, but it surely gives you freedom and freedom makes me happy :) Enjoy - Foto de Karolina Grabowska en Pexels

This is the first time I earned a grand for one design. The person that I work with asked me to make a t shirt that will be sold as an NFT, which is like a digital product - and is unique in it's identity. He told me he'll give me a grand for this design! I was really taken back by this because I usually charge 50 - 120 for a t-shirt so him just offering me a grand I was really f** suprised.
If you put in good work you will be rewarded for it, and this is my reward for all my efforts.

The world is a big place, with different cultures, different people, different smells, sights, feelings. There's no point in staying in a place that doesn't resonate with who you are, it's a waste of time and energy. I've lived in places that were "okay", and I thought that "this is all there is, it's doesn't get better the this environment", but once i started travelling I realised that the world is full of amazing places and places where I love being - because of the daily interaction with the people, because of the different foods, because of the types of music people in that place listen to. Each place has it's own qualities and charasteristic, you just have to find one that truly resonates with your likes and dislikes.

Negativity is contagious - whether in the form of anger, hate, jealously it can have a really bad effect upon you. The best thing to do when someone is directing negative energy at you is just to get away, don't get angry, don't fight back, just leave - because if you fight back this negativity will just spread like a wildfire - from one person to the other. Don't add fuel to that negativity. This is a really interesting topic - hear me talk a bit more about it and my own experience with negative people in the Podcast. Maybe you haven't realised it yet, but most of your behaviours are automatic, whether they're thinking patterns, actions/ reactions, basically the whole expression on your body. Why is this? Because your brain tries to find the most efficient way to conserve your energy - therefor it's creates habits so that way you don't have to spend so much time "thinking" and things can be done automatically. But the down-side of this then is that you aren't 'really' living consciously - and that can lead you to places where maybe you don't want to end up... Hear me talk about it more. Topics: habitual behaviours, running on autopilot, unconscious behaviours, how to be more conscious, awareness, habitual thinking patterns, psychology

When you travel you probably sleep in, stay out late, skip your workouts, lose focus and all that. And I get it, travel is meant to be fun, but at the same time if you're traveling full time, and want to sustain that type of lifestyle, you gotta be a bit focused, and you gotta keep your sht together, otherwise you lose yourself in the travel and forget your responsibilities. Especially if you travel long-term like me, then discipline is key, because every time you arrive in a new country you probobly have some goals that you want to accomplish, and if you slack off 'nothing gets accomplished' and you start to become worried, your responsibilities pile up and then your travel isn't fun anymore, it's stressful. I get into this whole discipline thing a bit more in the Podcast, I also share a few stories from my own experience as a full-time traveler, and why I think it's so important to keep your sht together when you're traveling. If you want to have a satisfying relationship, there needs to be a balance of needs - it's a similar idea to Maslow's Higherarchy of Needs - a relationship has different layers that need to be fullfilled for it to be trully complete. From sexual fullfilment, to intellectual fulfillment, from showing the person you 'really' care about them, to having adventures with them, to inspiring one another, there are lots of areas that needs looking after in order for the relationship to be a healthy one. It doesn't necessary need to be 100% in all the areas, because she already gets some of that fulfillment from her friends or from her family, but you should be contributing a bit to all those areas. Hope that makes sense!

Fear is a motherf*, it can show up just at the 'right time' to f* everything up. When we are right infront of an opportunity, it shows up and stops us from taking the leap. Whether love, business, or our personal life, it is a force that tries to hold you back from growth and learning. But we must be strong and not give in, because if we give in we stay in comfort and lose ourselves, lose those precious opprotunities for growth, lose those new experience that we yearn for. In today Podcast we talk about fear and how to overcome it, especially when it comes to the area of dating and being social. It's a funny thing because when I was recording this I ran into fear myself and I did not let it take me, I overcame it and I got rewarded for doing so. Put your headphones in and listen up :) If you got any questions about this episode or future episodes just send me a message on my website www.takkamil.com - there you can find my contact form. We need to be brave and make decisions for ourselves, from what type of work we want to do, where we want to live, who we want to hangout with, and what we want to do with our time. We don’t have an infinite amount of time here so let s use it wisely and enjoy it by living how we want. This is a sort of advice episode of a realization I had earlier this day about why it’s not good to judge people based on the way you feel, because your feeling always change, so your judgment doesn’t have much “base” to it. It s better to be rational and look at the bigger picture :) Tags: Work and travel, work and travel europe, work and travel usa, digital nomad lifestyle, travel the world, daygame pickup, dating, life advice for men

It's so important to take risks in life, even though they might seem a bit "dangerous" or "unknown", we must put ourselves in these uncomfortable situations. And I'm not going to lie, there are always ups and downs, but that's just a part of "living", you have to experience both to actually learn something. I've taken risks that brought lots of pain in my life, but in the end they always thought me something that I 'needed' later on in life. SO... don't be a pussy cat and just go for it - physical life ends eventually so don't be scared! Time to move again, 2021 is right around the corner and I think it’s time move away from Poland and go to West Europe. It’s time to get back to “real life”, start working real job, start having real experiences and getting off of social media and detaching myself from the digital word. This is yet another big transition for me. I guess my 20s are the times of change and learning. traveling, travel lifestyle, lifestyle design, digital nomad, traveling the world, travel journal, takkamil, 2020

Being social in all senarios of life is what allows life to be more playful. When you go about your day and say good morning to people, pet someone dog, compliment someones outfit, start a chat with the barista, that s the level of social playfulness you want to get to... Why? Because this makes existence more fun, it makes living worth living, and it opens you up to opportunities of spontaneity.

Often we forget that we’re living in the physical body and the imagination is a creation to and the driver to inspire actions and ideas. the body is a tool which can bring them into reality, but the imagination is a tool which inspires that reality.

Are you living your life in a playful way? Or are you going through your day like a robot? Most of us get caught in this way of living, we conform to society and it's social 'rules', but really, there aren't any social rules, there are obviously boundaries, but the rules are yours to make up. Life is short but we just don't know it. It will pass us by quick and soon-there-after we will be in our death bed wondering where all the time went. So the least we can do is have a lighthearted attitude towards life and enjoy it as best as we possible can. And it's starts with these day to day interactions. Whether you're out and about, at a Café, travelling, you can be playful, and have joyous interactions that will make life a bit better, and a bit more entertaining. Listen to me talk about it in detail on this Podcast episode: The World is Your Playground | TKP #6

Recently I embarked on a English teaching program in Warsaw, Poland. It lasted five days as a volunteer I taught English to Polish speaking participants. This experience made me realize many things and the most important was The only thing that matters is the moment you’re experiencing right now. Be present with what you’re doing give all of your attention on this moment because this moment will pass you and you will not experience it again. I also share some of my goals and some of my future plans. I want to travel to Italy Switzerland Spain and France in the upcoming few months.

On my way to Warsaw now. The few weeks previous have been just ups and downs, like my mind has been trying to figure out a solution to something that is non-existent. Maybe the solitude has been digging into the depths of my souls and digging up the past. And not to say that being alone is doing me harm, but there is definitely no joy in being alone. Sitting in my room, trying to figure out what to do with my time, and taking walks around the neighbourhood is the only solution to my solitude.
There is no joy in being alone, there is no joy in sitting by oneself and contemplating life. Life in itself is the interaction of going back and forth between your awareness and the awareness of someone else. That’s what makes like exciting and worth living, is it the play of these two awareness interacting, it’s the challenge that comes with this, it is the complex thoughts and emotions which arise out of this which is the joy - because it is constant change that entertains the soul, and sitting in a room alone does not entertain the soul, it’s too dull.
So the change came... Read the rest here:
