He just recently became an awardee of the Jonathan Larson Grant which is awarded annually to musical theatre composers, lyricists, and librettists, or writing teams, early in their career, to support artistic endeavors and safeguard long-term music writing careers. His upcoming musicals "Frida, The Musical" and "Broadway en Spanglish" are currently in workshop productions hoping to find a space to tell these stories. On August 4th you can see him in a free concert event at Lincoln Center in his show featuring songs of his album Songs by an immigrant, sung by your favorite Broadway stars. After getting his start in the 2017 Jimmy Awards, Antonio has caught stride in becoming a main star on Broadway. Tony and Grammy nominated actress, Sydney Lucas, and Broadway and TV veteran, Eli Tokash, both began their careers as young child actors. Now teenagers, they are teaming up to provide listeners with weekly entertainment to share their industry experiences and expertise through Take A Bow! These two have had unique starts in the industry at very young ages. They are eager to share their experiences, thoughts, opinions, and feelings on all aspects of the industry seen through a kid’s perspective. As well as the evolution of their careers as they transition from child actors to young adult actors.
