Wow we cover a lot in this conversation! Saz and I have known each other for 10 years and worked together in the crazy world of TV. Our friendship is incredibly special and has grown so much since living in Bali together.
We talk about how TV lead both of us to have breakdowns, depression, anxiety, identity struggles, family struggles, therapy, codependency, boundaries, friendship... and how 5 days of visiting me in Bali turned into 7 months. A friendship that has taught me more than I could have imagined, this is one special girl who has so much to share and so much for us all to learn from.

Gary Bencheghib is one impressive 25 year old. He has taken on a huge challenge to clean up Bali's rivers. By cleaning up the rivers he is hoping to stop a lot of the rubbish that ends up in the ocean. Every week he organises river clean ups that I have been a part of. His fundraising adventures have included a kayak trip down the world's most polluted river... which subsequently went went viral. As a result the Indonesian Ministry of the Environment delivered an on-camera commitment to an emergency clean up plan of the river and in December 2017, Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, announced a 7- years full rehabilitation plan of the Citarum river. We talk about why this is such a problem in Bali, what can be done to help reduce the plastic problem, who should be taking responsibility & Gary's future plans to set up 100 trash barriers in Bali by the end of 2021... and eventually to be setting them up all over the world.

"My dream is for all people to be able to have access to pelvic health all around the world at any age and particularly the child bearing years. I want to aid in dropping the taboo’s surrounding sexual and pelvic health in order to urge people who are experiencing changes to seek help and advice from professionals. The sooner we drop the stigma around our sexual organs and feel comfortable discussing these subjects the sooner treatments can be accessed and change can happen."
