PPE - Personal Protection Equipment - has come to the fore as a measure of frontline safety and readiness in tackling Covid19. An acronym that to some represented an elite Oxbridge degree course favoured by politicians, PPE has become embedded in the mind of the nation as the embodiment of how the nation’s frontline workers are managing in the Covid19 pandemic. PPE shortages and disparities in provision have dominated the headlines, and in an effort to address this digital entrepreneur Katz Kiely established Frontline Live. In this podcast, Clare chats with Katz about how Frontline was set up in the space of 2 weeks and is already having an impact on getting PPE to where it’s needed.

Healthtech has led the way with advances in technologies that support longevity, and Tina Woods has been at the forefront, setting up an All-Party Parliamentary Group to explore and promote opportunities and establishing Longevity International as a platform for research, debate and communication. Enter Covid19 and its devastating impact on the older population, and the focus has shifted. Where does this leave us? In this podcast, Clare talks with Tina Woods, founder and CEO of Longevity International about longevity, Covid19 and the future of ageing.
