It is very clear there are different influences out there on how you should live your life. Although the world is all about "tolerance" and "acceptance," which are good things. Yet, the world is not tolerant nor accepts the principles of Christian believers. When our foundations aren't strong we can be swayed by the kindness of "tolerance" to accept world's standards. What are your principles, you hardcore beliefs? How are you holding firm to your principles? Do you close others out entirely if they differ from you? OR Do you just go along with the crowd? In the episode, 'Called to a Higher Standard' by Always Lead By Love with Rachael Nieves, briefly touches on this subject and encourages listeners to open up more about this subject. Being pre-teen, teen, or even an adult, we face challenges of "being accepted" by those around us. Our appearance, our athleticism, etc. has to be on point, according to what society labels it. Oftentimes, becoming wrapped up in what others think of us, and chasing the "being accepted" label, we tend to lose sight of who we actually are! Listen in to this episode of 'Always Lead By Love'.
It Takes YOU💪🏼🙌🏼 Another episode of Always Lead By Love. I will touch on the inner battles that we have within ourselves. Such as, sometimes when we are in uncomfortable situations we can tend to "go with the flow". When we secretly suffer from those uncomfortable moments. Our values and our worth for ourselves are off balanced. Sadly you are not alone, I speak of a recent situation I experienced and the wisdom I gained from that. Also I want to encourage you all to write a list of 3-4 characteristics of YOU that you would like to see yourself grow in and become stronger or braver in. Together we can do this, it just takes YOU.💪🏼🙌🏼💕
Always Lead By Love - The Thoughts of Others. Sometimes we can let others get the best of us, and allow their harsh words to become our belief. It happens and it stinks. I shed a little bit of light on how I have shifter my way of thinking and eventually became to understand myself, and more importantly embrace myself for who I really am. 1 Timothy 4:12, & 1 Corinthians 4:12 reminds us that, no matter how young you are, you can make a difference. Also by letting go and walking away from those that try to cause you harm, and not get wrapped up in their poisonous ways, you're better for it. Thank you for your support, I encourage you to ask questions or share your stories/thoughts. Rachael Nieves
Life is full of decisions everyday, but what about those tough choices we make when it goes against our principles or beliefs? Do we stand up or go with the crowd? I reveal my experiences of some of those exact moments in my life, where making the right decision is very difficult. We also take a quick look at a story in Bible, Daniel Chapter 3, about three men that made a choice to stand firm in their beliefs, yet that choice became a life or death decision for them.
Life can be tricky, yet thankfully we have those around us that support us no matter what. Take a look back, and remember that we always have the Lord on our side.💪
