Black folks and the word history do not work well together. Never did. So you can imagine the struggle life I'm experiencing trying to trace back my heritage 😐
Sometimes when we're in the pit of 💩 we lose focus. We begin to look to people for direction, acknowledgement, approval...and that's the first sign to the road of failure. People are fickle, but God is not. Remember to do everything with God in mind. No one else's opinions matter.
2017 has been an impact filled year. Filled with crazy up and downs. Maybe I gave my energy to the wrong things. Listen to my AHA!
