Evan Dunfee has DROPPED IN before in E.33 we had a lot of giggles and learned a lot about race walking and bodily functions. He is an Olympic medallist, he has represented Team Canada at 2 Olympics, 2016 and 2020/21. Interestingly enough from what we learned in E.33 the discipline he raced in in Tokyo, 2020/21 where he walked into a bronze medal will not be in the Paris Olympics. Mike Trauner was declared clinically dead twice. Tyler played AAA hockey but when he was 15 years old, while playing hockey he broke his leg. After surgery they found a growth behind his leg. At 16 years old he went through 8 months of chemotherapy and his left leg was amputated due to that growth, it was a diagnosis of Spindle cell sarcoma is a type of connective tissue cancer. Evan Dunfee is the fastest walker I know! He wanted to go to the Olympic Games from the age of 9 and started race walking at the age of 10. At the 2016 Olympics he place 4th in the 50km race walk, then was upgraded to third after a disqualification from a Japanese racer, but then an appeal reinstated the disqualified racer and our guest let the results stand keeping 4th place.
He’s a Pan American Games gold medalist, World Athletics world championship bronze medalist, a 2x World Race Walking Team Championship silver medalist with his Canadian Teammates and has qualified for the Tokyo Games.
