Founder and CEO of Exodus, JP Richardson, joins Landon to talk about his discovery of cryptocurrency, the journey he took to bring Exodus to life as a company, and his thoughts on web3. Being a technical magician, he has published over 200 open source libraries and has written code in use by Bitcoin and cryptocurrency software on the web today.
In 2012, JP wanted people to have an easy way of exchanging and storing Bitcoin. This led him to starting his own business called Coinbolt. The company was lacking in creative design and only lasted a little over a year. This would help JP in the end though as it introduced him to Exodus Co-Founder Daniel Castagnoli.
