Each episode I choose an artist or a theme and showcase as well as talk about different bootlegs, demos, rarities and other recordings of unknown origins for that given artist. I have been collecting and enjoying listening to these type of recordings ever since I was turned on to them in high school back in 1983!

Welcome to Episode 17....This time we "fly" back down to Georgia for some Black Crowes action. Not only does this kickin' band tear it up with their own varied material, they have also been known to slay a cover tune or two....or five! The Brothers Robinson kept this rock / soul / jam / Americana bird in the air from 1989 - 2015...RIP??...Well, let's be glad we have so much boot material to keep us flying for a long while!
It has been close to a year since I went to round 3 with the mighty Van Halen.....and that is WAY too long! I thought it was time to get back to the backbone band of the BBP. This is a very special episode of the BBP. On Jan 18 2016, founding member of the Eagles, Glenn Frey, passed away. Hardly anyone outside his immediate circle knew he was sick. I have been a big Eagles fan, especially early Eagles, for a long time. I always liked Glenn back in those days...his style, singing, writing & playing. Please join me by listening to this episode to pay tribute to him as we check out some live recordings of many of the great Eagles songs he sang. RIP Glenn
The Mighty Van Halen returns for round 3! With my excitement over their current summer tour I decide to revisit my favorite band once again! Lots of demos and deeper live boot cuts in this one...Dave, Sammy, Gary... (plus maybe even a surprise or two!) So put in those "Van Halen headphones" and turn it up, 'cuz it is 5150 time once again!

With their current R40 Tour starting out strong heading into the summer, I thought this would be a great time to delve into the RUSH bootleg discography. From their beginnings in 73/74 until today, these guys have been masters of their domains the whole way....so get ready to air drum, guitar and bass away! Let's call this episode "By-Tor & the Bootleg" ;)

This week I make my first round with the self billed "the greatest rock & roll band in the world", the Rolling Stones! Covering over 50 years (and counting) worth of material, there are boot's aplenty to get lost in. With the Stones just announcing their tour for this summer of 2015, what better way to get in the mood for getting your tickets than to sit back and enjoy these awesome live boots and studio rarities!
For episode # 2, I continue with Van Halen as the featured artist. The first half of the podcast looks at the relationship of some of the old demos that made their way to completed songs on the 2012 A Different Kind of Truth album. The second half is just free-for-all VH bootleg goodness!
