In this episode of The Creative Nomad Show, host JP welcomes Adam Latin, an intuitive empowerment coach and communication coach. The conversation revolves around the power of authentic connection and the importance of understanding and embracing one’s unique identity. Adam shares his experiences working in Salem during Halloween and his journey to find love in Peru. The discussion also delves into the concept of self-responsibility and the limitations and choices individuals have in their lives.
Connect with Adam at https://www.theclearestu.com/
Authentic Connection and Celebrating IndividualityAdam’s work in Salem during the Halloween season allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. He emphasizes the importance of authentic connection and understanding others’ struggles. He believes that everyone has inherent value, especially those who are people pleasers and have the ability to step out of themselves to help and heal others. Adam encourages individuals to celebrate their own value and cherish their unique identity.
“I believe that most people that are looking to grow and heal and serve have extreme value. If you’re a people pleaser, you have extreme value because you are able to step out of yourself and help and heal others. Even if they can’t receive you. So rather than creating boundaries, I believe in redirecting your energy. Don’t give this to someone unworthy of you. Give it to someone worthy of you.” – Adam Latin
Adam also highlights the need for effective communication and the challenges people face in truly being authentic and open with others. He believes that effective communication is not universally taught and that the abundance of information and noise in today’s world makes it difficult for individuals to navigate and find clarity in their own identities.
The Power of Choice and Self-ResponsibilityThe conversation takes a turn towards the concept of self-responsibility and the choices individuals make in their lives. JP and Adam discuss the difference between responsibility and blame, as well as integrity and morality. While JP believes that individuals have the power to choose and direct their lives, Adam argues that not everyone has the same capacity for self-responsibility and that some people’s lives are inherently written for them.
“I believe that some people are supposed to be involved and engaged in co-creating, and other people are supposed to have their life written for them. It’s not their choice. It’s just they can’t do that. So it means they can’t have access to you.” – Adam Latin
Adam emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and respecting individuals’ limitations and understanding that not everyone can make the same choices or overcome the same obstacles. He believes that pushing self-responsibility can lead to shaming behavior and create damage for those who are incapable of it.
The Journey to Authentic ConnectionThe conversation shifts to Adam’s personal journey of finding love in Peru. He shares how he moved to Peru with the intention of finding a partner and how he met his wife, Maria. Despite the language barrier and cultural differences, Adam and Maria were able to connect on a deep level and build a strong relationship. Adam believes that love is universal and transcends language and cultural barriers.
“Love is universal. It will find a way to communicate. We’re not taught how to teach someone. We’re taught this idea that if you love someone, you know how to show them love. And to me, given the fact that we’ve become so much more vastly dynamic, that’s a ridiculous concept.” – Adam Latin
Adam also expresses his desire to create retreat centers around the world that focus on authentic connection and communication. He envisions spaces where families can come together and learn how to connect and communicate in healthy and fulfilling ways. He believes that the current lack of emphasis on family connection and communication is a significant challenge in today’s world.
Conclusion and Future OutlookIn conclusion, the conversation between JP and Adam highlights the power of authentic connection and the importance of embracing one’s unique identity. They discuss the challenges of effective communication and the need for individuals to understand and respect their own limitations and the limitations of others. Adam’s journey to find love in Peru serves as an example of the universal nature of love and the ability to connect beyond language and cultural barriers. Looking ahead, Adam envisions creating retreat centers that focus on authentic connection and communication for families around the world.
The conversation between JP and Adam offers valuable insights into the power of authentic connection and the need for effective communication in today’s world. By embracing our unique identities and understanding the limitations of ourselves and others, we can foster healthier and more fulfilling relationships. As we continue to navigate the complexities of modern life, it is essential to prioritize authentic connection and celebrate the value we bring to the world.

Ken has been in ministry for almost 20 years, and he’s all too familiar with the world’s expectations, either to compare their beliefs to his, or expect him to be perfect.
Living Into the ListeningKen Noble then shared a quote to illustrate the importance of titles and how they can influence how people perceive you: “God doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies the call.” They also discussed the concept of living into the listening, which is when people unconsciously act according to the perceived title of the person they are speaking with.
The Power of Connecting on Common GroundJP shared a funny story about a business opportunity that didn’t work out due to the script he handed them. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of connecting with people on common ground, and how it is important to research what that common ground may be in order to effectively communicate.
Reminding Yourself of Who You AreThe conversation then shifted to the importance of understanding one’s self and having a clear idea of who one truly is and not being swayed by the scripts of others. JP, who has done the Landmark Forum, talked about how it took him quite a while to figure out who he was as opposed to who he thought he was based on everyone’s input. They encouraged listeners to take the time to remind themselves of who they are and not be influenced by the scripts of others. Ken and JP shared how they wake up each morning and actively remind themselves who they are in their highest form, meditate, journal, and prepare themselves for the world.

Welcome To The Creative Nomad ShowWith Special Guest Kimberly CloudAbout Today’s Show:In this conversation, Kimberly Cloud, a serial entrepreneur, and freelancer, is introduced as the 100th guest on the Creative Nomad Show. She explains the purpose of her show, which is to provide education to viewers about the various life subjects that may be unfamiliar to them.
She hopes to help people with life challenges and to show them that no matter how different their lives may be, it is important to accept and support one another. Kimberly believes that stories can help people who feel isolated and alone, and she wants to be a source of guidance and support for those who need it.
The speaker is discussing how they have used virtual connections to help them cope with mental health issues. They have found that by being open about their struggles and showing their progress, it brings them joy to make other people happy. They have used social media to share their experiences and let their followers in on their bloopers, hair mistakes, and other intimate aspects of their life. Through this, they have found that it is important to show the real, imperfect side of life, as it is more attainable than the perfect life that is often portrayed on social media.
The conversation discusses the idea of having a goldilocks life where it is right but still has challenges. It suggests that having money doesn’t always lead to a perfect life, as having money can lead to having to make decisions about how to use it and what lifestyle to have. It also points out that even if someone has money, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is all liquid and could still lead to feeling broke.
The conversation concludes with the idea that it is about having a different mentality and lifestyle.
The conversation discusses the difference between self-actualized people and those who are still working towards it. They may not be worrying about food, but they may still have financial issues. It is not as simple as having money in the bank and taking it out, as their money is tied up in other places such as their business. They may have to move their money around to get money out and this could be a liquidity issue. They may have to worry about paying employees or having a drop in their income.
The conversation ends with a suggestion to use an envelope system to manage the money and to set aside a certain percentage for bills and other expenses.

About Tom Paladino:My instruments provide a guaranteed, fast, harmless and painless treatment process that has successfully healed patients with quantum illnesses such as HIV viral disease, Ebola, herpes, hepatitis, Lyme disease, tuberculosis, malaria, etc. Over 400,000 pathogens are identified and subsequently disassembled by way of this unique scalar energy protocol. These scalar light instruments administer the scalar energy reverse-phase angle harmonic of a pathogen, thereby causing that agent of infection to disassemble or fall apart. Bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoan, can all be disassembled, representing a cure or prevention for thousands of diseases. Once the causative agent of a pathogen disease has been eliminated, the symptoms associated with that infection decrease or disappear altogether.

Jackie Raye Neyman Jones Why I loved this interview: Jackey is the epitome of a classic Hollywood story! Having acted in “The Worst Movie Ever” as a child she has carved out a life full of art, creativity, and passion!
Bio: Jackey Neyman Jones was in “The Worst Movie Ever Made”.
She is not only one of the last surviving actors of Manos: The Hands Of Fate , but the only one willing to talk about it, living in the belief that if she can’t be the best, she’ll make the best from the worst.
She played Debbie, the child star of Manos. Her dad Tom Neyman played the lead role of The Master and was Creative Director, making all the props and artwork while her mom designed and sewed the iconic Masters Robe along with the wrestling wives ethereal gauzy gowns.
Manos: The Hands of Fate is a 1966 El Paso, Texas horror movie written directed and produced by Harold Warren and often taught in film classes as “Everything not to do in filmmaking”. From the camera work, editing, direction, script, acting and nearly everything else, it is one of the most notably inept films in existence and yet it has a certain charm which has not only captured, but held a fervent fan base since a public debut on Mystery Science Theater 3000 in 1993.
Since then, Manos has inspired a wide range of talented projects including but certainly not limited to a Portland Oregon parody stage production, a Seattle Washington Puppet show “Manos The Hands of Felt, video games, two coloring books, a remastered version of the original, a prequel, a sequel and several books. I’ve enjoyed interviewing with a number of publications including Playboy Magazine and Cracked.com. A great new project headed by Willow Poulson successfully funded in early 2021 and we filmed the pilot episode of Manos: The Debbie Chronicles in April, with a goal of securing a distributor and creating additional episodes of the character, Debbie, who has escaped the Valley Lodge and now battles evil in the world.
While November 15th 2021 will mark the 55th anniversary of the disastrous premiere, 27 years from its creation, on November 23rd 1993, Manos was named the Fan Favorite Of All Time by MST3k host Joel Hodgson on the Annual Turkey Day Awards Marathon show, and continues to entertains a very loyal and continually expanding fan base.
She is currently seeking new opportunities to share Manos with fans in various venues and at a range of events. If this sounds interesting to you and you feel I would be a good fit for your event, let’s talk. Thank you!

Laura de Sans Why I loved this interview: Our conversation on health and wellness both mentally and physically was completely timely (which is why I bumped it to this wee).
Bio: Laura is passionate about nutrition and mental health. After 15 years working as a family physician; Laura has seen a lot of patients struggling with their weight.
Patients who have tried all kind of diets, without achieving lasting weight loss.
Do you want to know the truth?
Only 4% of the people who lose weight reach to maintain it in a long-term.
A paradigm’s shift is necessary in the weight loss industry.
Our body is very complex and so are our minds. There are many factors influencing our weight.
We can not control all these factors, but we can learn how to put them on our behalf.
Lasting weight loss goes beyond calories in & calories out. The art of managing our minds and our feelings is the key to lasting weight loss or whatever lasting change you desire.
Laura help female entrepreneurs have healthier lives, feel better with themselves & in their bodies, live better lives and, ultimately, lose weight permanently (which it ended up being the by product of this process).

Paul Gencarella Jr Why I loved this interview: Paul and I had a really deep conversation about healing from depression and finding your passion.
Bio: Paul Gencarella Jr. is a member of the NSA (National Speaker Association) He is passionate about his craft. He began as a church lector for his local parish and a former public address announcer for local football and soccer games.
He has begun as an author. His current book titles that have yet to be released are: Healthy Mindset: A Health Plan for your Brain and How Bipolar Saved My Life. Others to follow are: Using Personal Development to Rescue your Marriage, Job and Lifestyle and The Power of Having a Mentor.
Public Speaking but more importantly, Leadership began for him in 1986 when he became President of my Freshman Class in a high school where he knew very few people. That experience led him to a flourishing college career followed by leadership on several local boards.
For him, consultation as well as advice and insight on success, leadership and mindset comes only after a connection. Being able to relate to your audience and develop a sort of friendship will help to magnify your message.
He comes from the belief that it’s not what you say but how you say it. He’s been very fortunate in life to succeed with humor and lightheartedness. However, persistency and consistent effort helped form my work ethic. Therefore, his delivery is always audience based and helping them transform their lives.
He has been blessed with many diverse accomplishments in my life. When it comes to professional speaking, coaching or consulting Paul would say the relationships he has fostered have been the biggest accomplishment. However, hehas not only helped many others but have nurtured his own relationships with advisors, coaches and mentors over the years to become better every day.
He was an insurance agent for 25 years and has transitioned to a home-based enterprise consisting of affiliate marketing, life coaching and public speaking. He has worked with several local organizations. He is a past board member of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Lions Club, Past Chairperson of the YMCA and a current Chairperson of the Supervisory Committee of the credit union in our local community.
