For one day only, the worldwide TEDx platform - including TEDxCapeTown - will harness the power of people across the globe to encourage them to create a TEDx event themed 'City 2.0' – a day of urban inspiration – to be hosted in various cities at favourite local spots, featuring the brightest local minds and biggest hearts.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. A video of this talk
