I am very excited to share with you my conversation with Detective Chief Superintendent Ian Hunter of the Thames Valley (UK) Police. Ian in our first international guest and he does not disappoint. In this podcast, Ian and I talk about the differences and similarities in policing between the U.S. and UK. We talk about leadership styles, specifically transactional and transformational leadership. "Hands on, fingers out" maybe one of the best explanations for leadership I have heard in a long time. We talk about Ian leading terrorism and counter-corruption investigations as well as conducting investigations in other countries. I like to think I am well versed with law enforcement in the U.S., but my ignorance definitely shows when it comes to policing in other countries.
