From multiple arrests to days spent in a drunken haze without eating, my life was spiraling out of control. Society often normalizes excessive drinking, but behind the facade, it causes severe physical and mental health issues.
Facts About Alcohol:
- Health Impacts: Chronic alcohol use can cause liver disease, cardiovascular problems, and increase the risk of cancers such as liver, mouth, and breast cancer. In 2023, alcohol-related incidents resulted in approximately 3 million deaths globally (World Health Organization (WHO)) (World Health Organization (WHO)).
- Mental Health: Alcohol exacerbates depression and anxiety and leads to significant mental health consequences. It is highly addictive and often results in dependency, cognitive impairment, and brain damage (World Health Organization (WHO)) (World Health Organization (WHO)).
- Social Consequences: Alcohol misuse contributes to violence, accidents, and legal issues. It can severely impact personal relationships and professional life, leading to job loss and financial problems (World Health Organization (WHO)) (World Health Organization (WHO)).
The turning point came when I realized I couldn't continue living this way. I share the steps I took to get sober, from seeking help to building a support network. Therapy played a crucial role in my recovery, providing the tools and support needed to stay on track.

The VERY first solo pod of the year and this time diving deep into the rabbit hole I have come across The Gateway Experience - A selection of tapes produced by Robert Monroe that allow an altered state of consciousness such as time travel, remote view all via a training program that uses different types of meditation using Hemi sync frequencies. As amazing as Monroe work was it was not left noticed by the CIA and the US Army who later release a report on the project below is
“Fundamentally, the Gateway experience is a training system designed to bring enhanced strength, focus and coherence to the amplitude and frequency of brainwave output between left and right hemispheres so as to alter consciousness, moving it outside the physical sphere so as to ultimately escape even the restrictions of time and space."

Dr Peter Sjöstedt-Hughes is an Anglo-Scandinavian philosopher of mind who specializes in the thought of Whitehead, Nietzsche, and Spinoza, and in fields pertaining to panpsychism and altered states of mind. Following his degree in Continental Philosophy at the University of Warwick, he became a Philosophy Lecturer in London for six years and after which he pursued his PhD (on ‘Pansentient Monism’, examined by Galen Strawson and Joel Krueger) at The University of Exeter – where he is now a research fellow and associate lecturer.
Peter is the author of Noumenautics, the TEDx Talker on ‘psychedelics and consciousness, and he is an inspiration to the inhuman philosopher Marvel Superhero, Karnak. I’M BACK and with a new question…
“What Reality are you in?"
Welcome my fellow shed members. I'm sorry I've been gone for a while but I have been working to perfect the podcasting formula so that from this very moment on, we fight for justice, for freedom, for the reality of truth … lol Nah I'm kidding! we should though, but I have been working extremely hard to get everything in order for Season Two!
So what’s Season Two going to offer?
It will be a spiralling journey down the rabbit hole of our existence to find out what real reality is to all of us that currently live with it.
I have been speaking with many future guests, such as philosopher's, psychedelics experts, comedians, breatharians, professional fighters, directors in film, the grim reaper himself and many more from all walks of life.
I will now be doing one solo podcast and one interview per week, but if I can squeeze in any more I will!

When travelling to Spain to visit my family, I began my Reiki journey with a level one attunement guided by my Nan. If you are wondering what an attunement is;
"Unlike other healing arts, reiki is passed from master to student through a Reiki attunement that allows the student to connect to the universal Reiki source. The attunement allows you to become a vessel of reiki, and move Reiki energy for yourself and others. While you can read about reiki in a book and learn hand positions until you have been attuned to channel reiki, you cannot truly practice reiki." - Center of Excellence
