Hi Everyone - it's August in Albumen and the Eggs are getting ready for their annual camping trip. As usual, Benedict is causing issues and forgetting to use his manners. With some help from his friends, however, he finally learns how to be a Good Egg. We hope that our kids use their at home, but especially when we're not around. Modeling this is important, as we know, because our kids will imitate our actions.
This is the last episode in book 1. We have covered 12 virtues in this series. I will be taking a short summer break and be back in September as we start book 2, The Good Eggs Travel the World. Honesty IS the best policy! Benedict learns this the hard way in Chapter 10. Helping our kids keep this virtue first and foremost in their lives will give them a happy life!

Hi Kids! In Chapter 8, it's April in Albumen! The Eggs are going to learn about the environment and how to keep it clean, but, as you can guess, Benedict is not on board with this idea. He gets a tough lesson in respecting the Earth when something awful happens to his dog, Scrambler!
Respecting the earth, animals, and especially people are all important actions for kids to learn. We see Benedict getting a lesson in respecting the earth when his dog, Scrambler, gets into some trouble. We can all help our kids learn the importance of respect from every angle of life. When we model this virtue, kids will, too.
Teaching our kids acceptance can be as easy as how we model it for others. Sometimes, though, children can be much more accepting than adults. In The Good Eggs, Chapter 7, Benedict needed to learn a little something about acceptance, and Peggy listened to her parents about accepting their situation, too. Kids and adults can influence each other when it comes to this important virtue!
Spring is arriving in Albumen and baseball season is about to start! The Eggs are eager to begin practice, but first Benedict needs to learn a lesson in Acceptance. Peggy returns and has also learned how to accept something. . .
Hi Everyone! In this episode of Egg-quipping Adults, we look at Chapter 6 of The Good Eggs. They are in the month of February and trying to get an idea for Ms. Poach's Valentine's Day Gift. However, Peggy and Benedict learn a hard lesson in love. Teaching our kids to love is based on our actions. They will follow our lead. Seggourney said it best, "Love works best when it is given away!"
Getting our kids to cooperate can sometimes be a challenge! Listen to how the Eggs resolve a situation with some compromise and cooperation, both big and small! Hope some of the adult tips are helpful, too!
