We examine the biblical events that 'must' precede the return of Jesus Christ. There are many, but also an abundance of prophetic teachings in the Word of God only to be understood by connecting the dots presented by the authors of both the Old Testament and the apostolic writers of the New.There are significant apocalyptic mysteries in the bible the Church will be made responsible for communicating to a dull and lethargic multitude seeking answers in these last days. In the grace of God, that is our goal.
Mat 24:14 "… this [apocalyptic] gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” The gospel that is being revealed in the closing days of this age. Our God laid out the blueprint for this task through the mouth of David in Psalm 2, so the Son of David might reveal it to the nations in our day!

Plenty of controversy about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. A quick look at 21st. century civilization indicates many of the Bible prophecies in both Testaments show there will also be many no less important activities during this glorious return of our Lord. One great age-ending event that brings the rule and reign of a Jewish Messiah to the earth for the next thousand years, instituting a divine order in place that will change everything! Let's check out some of the details.

"We preach for the absence of criticism, instead of the presence of the Holy Spirit.” That's quite a statement. It certainly got my attention when I first heard it. Mat 24:45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?” As pastors and teachers, I strongly believe we’ll be more intently required to pay close attention to the Word of the Lord, shifting to a more apocalyptic presentation —a seasonal word that will land you outside the categories of religion and cultural influence. Right where you need to be!

It may not come with bullets and bombs, but perhaps from explosive bursts of marginalization, cancel culture, coming from a woke generation that sees our God and our deepening love for His son, entirely out of step with societal norms. Might removing insignificant folks like you and me from the global conversation of the day be performing God an excellent service? Let's find out.

One of the most frequently stated arguments for an early rapture is found in Revelation. Pre-trib defenders argue the Church is never mentioned after chapter 4 in the book. That after the Lord reprimands the seven churches in Asia Minor, Revelation goes ‘silent’ on the subject. And, because the word ‘Church’ is absent from the discussion, it’s believed there’s been a sudden and secret rapture. Let's look at the scripture that shows Revelation is not as silent as some believe.

We don't have the next couple of decades to run from what the Holy Spirit has been whispering to the Church, those hushed tones that are warning of a coming blast from a trumpet in Zion, and the sounding of an alarm on the Holy Mountain of God. He's informing His Body of some coming bad news and some coming good news.

Can we say, based on Daniel's vision in chapter 11 and the words of Jesus in Matthew 24, we are now in the birth pains that will precede the Lord's return? Daniel's vision of the military and ethnic conflicts in chapter 11, and Jesus' careful instructions to His disciples in Matthew 24 present us with a harmony of scripture that should gain our attention. Let's examine these passages and see what the Holy Spirit wants to share with us.

Among many in the church today who embrace Christian theology, even go to church regularly and support the creeds and the canon of scripture, hold to the idea that God is somehow finished with the Jews. That they may have some relevance in the plan of God in the sweet by and by, but the Church has replaced Israel as the ‘apple of His eye.’ Nothing could be further from the truth.

How do we see the Apocalyptic in the context of evangelism? It would seem there’s devastation attached to the word, whether the ‘world’s’ version or the ‘bible’s version. But we must understand the Apocalyptic message is the gospel message. The Word God intended that message be presented as the revelation of a mystery. Something is hidden to be revealed in God’s appointed time. And, we’re quickly coming to that determined time!!

Why so long? Why nearly 2000 years between the two comings of Messiah?
If you’re like most of us in the Church you’ve probably NOT given it much thought. But I’m finding insight into this question provides answers to why Israel remains the centerpiece in God's end-time plan and the mysteries surrounding the timing of the Lord's return.

Pastors appear to be keeping the gospel message pretty vanilla these days, sticking to the fundamentals of the faith, encouraging witnessing, reading their Bibles, etc. A solid gospel message. But if generational and global transitions are well underway, and they are, what must be the 'in season' message from the pulpit? What must pastors and teachers, even at significant risk to their positions, communicate to their people?

Do we embrace the truth or the lie? This is not about succumbing to ‘false’ doctrine or deception at an unguarded moment in life. That can be momentary and perhaps rob us of our peace of mind and cause us to question our spiritual destiny. God’s not threatened by our wrong ideas about Him. But our Lord does give us significant warnings of an internal state of apostasy, an abandonment of the faith. A falling away from the faith and truth once held. Let's see how we can stay on course.

Has there been any greater mystery or controversy in history than Israel and its earthly journey from antiquity? The one to whom God spoke and the prophets wrote. So many mysteries God has held closely for eons are now being revealed. From the long journey of the two seeds in the Garden. To the mystery of the sealed scroll of Daniel 12. Where now, few care for this Godly prophecy, but “at the time of the end,” near its fulfillment, “many shall run to and fro,” to scrutinize it, scanning carefully through every page. Beloved, I believe it's time to go to the prophets!

We’re living in a transitional generation. When the majority of God’s people will begin to experience the power of God on a very regular basis, and supernatural events will take place with much greater frequency.
God is highly vested in our emotional maturity. Will it come from an unsurrendered over-active soul of the flesh? Or is it going to come from a prophetic spirit that’s been meticulously prepared for a supernatural response?

Jesus is speaking to our generation, the conference crowd of today. He’s declaring the greater privilege of prophetic knowability coming upon God’s people, will demand a much greater response than what we’re giving it. And, if that remains the case. If the Church remains dull and unresponsive it will result in greater judgment.

The Church may need a tribulation. The Great Tribulation that will lead the present discombobulated, fractured, often compromising Church into a spirit of holiness, a resolve… a Bride that has made herself ready for the return of the Bridegroom. Building up a highway of holiness, taking out the stones of offense and accusation, lifting a banner before the nations. Saying to the daughter of Zion, 'Surely your salvation is coming'!

The most interpretive key to the timing of the Lord's return is found in the most unexpected place... the resumption of animal sacrifices on the most hotly contested pieces of real estate in the world. Temple Mount in Jerusalem. While the Israeli government has taken steps to head off attempts to get these unsanctioned sacrifices underway, Jerusalem’s chief rabbi admits the sacrifice is incumbent upon the Jewish people even in current times, even in the absence of a Temple or a Red Heifer to purify Israel. So, let's discover what the resumption of these sacrifices might signal for the Lord's return.

Let's say it this way, if Bible-believing, God-fearing men in our generation, give in to the undermining and emasculation perpetrated by 21st-century culture, I believe we'll be absent the prophetic insight necessary for the days leading to the Lord’s return. In short, men, we must re-establish our long-absent priestly position in the home, and embrace our divine assignment.

An extraordinary solemn assembly and fast will take place May 7-28 for Israel. A call to the Church to climb the 'watchtowers' of Israel to cry out to her day and night, and give God no rest till her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. My friends, this is an unprecedented event. Already, 300 thousand across the earth have committed to this solemn assembly, with up to a million when prayer gets underway. I've briefly covered some details and how you can learn more. This is a remarkable privilege that demands an exceptional response.

The church has been ministering out of Western culture and values for generations. That hasn’t been all wrong, it’s been effective on a number of levels. But it has also been significantly ineffective. The Church has been speaking what the previous generation said. And the generation before that. We’ve been tweaking our doctrines, introducing more bells and whistles, from a culture of, “golly gee whizz Beaver, isn’t Jesus cool?”
All that doesn’t come anywhere close to God's emotional chemistry. Or what He will require of the Church and the conference crowds of today. Might we be encouraged to have a much greater response to the abundance of prophetic insight the Holy Spirit is presently revealing?

There’s more written in the Bible about David than any other person except Jesus. A man after God’s own heart. But David had some issues. He was persecuted while living in sin and loving God at the same time. On the other hand, he was more concerned about how his misdeeds might mess up the lives of others.
Outward and Inward issues to contend with… just like you and me.

As of today, that revival at Ashbury University in Kentucky is nine days old... and counting!
Those kids praying in Kentucky didn’t wake up on chapel day and decided to kick things up a notch! Instead, the Holy Spirit, bypassed their carnality, their flesh, and their human weaknesses, and accommodated their love-sick hearts with a new demonstration of the Spirit’s power and love. A stirring and quickening to intercede, to stand in a critical gap for a needed breakthrough that would come by means of voluntary weakness and faith.
Might this be a significant sign of things to come?

We live in a transitional generation, when the majority of God’s redeemed will experience the manifest power of God on a regular basis. And the Lord is presently raising up a Forerunner generation to announce that transition is about to begin across the face of the earth. The latest word from the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists… they’ve moved the Doomsday Clock forward to 90 sec. to midnight. What happens when the doomsday clock hits midnight? Hypothetically speaking, it's the “theoretical point of annihilation;” the apocalypse, or the end of the world as we know it. Let’s see what the Bible says about God’s atomic clock; the one on which HE MOVES THE HANDS. And I suggest He’s not moving that minute hand backward. God’s steadily winding it down, in real-time, as He prepares to inaugurate a new age.

When Abraham lifted the knife over his only son Issac as he lay on the altar of sacrifice, God interrupted the proceedings with three important words, 'Now I Know.' There IS a coming ‘peace and safety" in Israel. There IS a coming resumption of animal sacrifices, there IS a new third Temple to be built and celebrated… and yes, there IS a coming abominable event when this man of peace and safety will enter that third Temple as the incarnation of Satan himself. And yes, there IS a Great Tribulation to follow that will lead to the final clash of the mystery of iniquity and the mystery of the gospel. Will the Church's participation in Christian Zionism be sufficient for all that?

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. How many of you have read or spoken the words of Jesus in John 14:12 with full-throated conviction? With expectancy for unusual manifestations, miracles, and extraordinary signs and wonders. But, as they say, ‘how has that worked out for us? Perhaps the Lord's timing and intent for those "greater works" are in the very near future. Let's find out.
A new ‘cattle-crossing’ seems to have suddenly emerged between Texas and Tel-A-Viv. Of all places. Red Heifers have arrived in Israel. A major move that has stirred the prophetic sensibilities of prophecy teachers and excited Israel’s religious community.
Is Israel going to actually begin animal sacrifices… or is this some stunning prophetic occurrence worthy of much deeper examination? Well, let’s find out!
Many of you know I favor an apocalyptic approach to evangelism. Clear, Biblical handling of prophetic scriptures from both Testaments that point to the activities on the earth during Daniel’s 70th. Week, the final seven years of this age. And what that will mean for Israel, the Church, and the nations in the days ahead. A reformation of end-times theology that produces a clear pathway for humanity to decide how they’d like to spend ETERNITY!!
My friends, we are quickly approaching a time when our seemingly secure categories will be literally shattered. We believe it will take the martyr witness of a Tribulation Church to prepare the nations and a surviving Jewish remnant for the worldwide lifting of a veil that will have been draped over their collective eyes for the past two millennia. It must be a people who know their God, moving in signs and wonders, forerunners who will be able to explain the unusual activities of the Holy Spirit at the end of this age.
My friends, I want to say, "we don't have the next couple of decades to run from what the Holy Spirit has been whispering to the Church, those hushed tones that are warning of a coming blast from a trumpet in Zion, and the sounding of an alarm on the Holy Mountain of God. He's informing His Body of some coming bad news and some coming good news. Jesus told Peter in Luke 22. "Satan has asked to sift you like wheat." The good news, he had to ask. The bad news is I gave him permission. Even so, Believers everywhere will be challenged by the deep darkness enveloping the earth and must now prepare for what is to come. That readiness will come from a history in God and a radical prayer life.
There's no 'chill pill' for persistent anxiety. But there is a God-ordained way to move that fear, doubt, and unbelief into a place of tranquility and peace that only the Holy Spirit can provide.
Beloved, if you’re willing to compare scripture with scripture, there can be no conclusion other than that on the Day of the Lord, Jesus will come on the clouds after the Great Tribulation. And that day brings the Antichrist’s destruction, the gathering of Christ’s elect, and the restoration of the kingdom of Israel. The day is not an imminent, un-signaled event and cannot, therefore, be introduced by an alleged any-moment, pre-tribulation rapture.
Let's learn more about this one event, with so many different activities.
Dynamic prophetic intercession, the church’s role in the birth pains, coming persecution, the fullness of the Gentiles, and the ancient controversy between the Church and Synagogue. The continuation of our interview with Pastor Jason King and the needed preparation for Church leadership.
Pastors and Church leaders quickly find themselves as the go-to voices for confused souls who sense 21st. century culture is heading for disaster. How will God grace an end-time Church to respond with love and Biblical accuracy amid all the noise? Our interview with Pastor Jason King offers some answers.
Intensive revival prayer is beginning to go up everywhere. There’s a rising tide of expectancy, but nothing seems to be happening like a hoped-for splitting of the atom. Do you know what scientists do? They continue to bombard that depressed atom by intensifying the neutron beam. They committed to do it until fission takes place. I submit that’s what the Church must do. We must press through for, what I like to call, Big Prayer, Strategic Prayer, Strategic Level Intercessory Prayer. Having a clear awareness, God sees and hears the unusual spiritual tensions, groanings, and agreements among the Saints and readies to burst open a global revival.
So many have adopted end- time views based only on what they’ve been taught by well-meaning church leaders they’ve loved and respected. While others see a pursuit of these coming days as bewildering and confusing. They’re choosing instead to leave it up to the experts. Let me strongly suggest that will be insufficient in approaching the time frame the Bible so graphically describes. It's time we look closely at the Bible to see if these 'things' are so!
Kids love their music, they love their social media, and for millions, they radically love their Lord. But my question is, “how do we prepare them for the apocalyptic ministry that will be necessary before the Lord’s return?
Youth pastor Travis Miller joins us to share some insight into what today's 'church kids' are think'n about these days.
If you and I are alive and well on planet earth when events begin to take place that leads to the great tribulation, you and I had better know in whom we’ve believed and have unwavering confidence that He is faithful to keep that which we’ve committed to Him, against that Day!!
For the 21st. century Church, all too often, absents the power of the Holy Spirit, it’s more coffee and crumpets to get us through the succession of Sundays.
Well, let’s see how they did it back in the olden days… back in Acts 2. Smack in the middle of a transitional generation. A season Jesus Himself made clear would be a new Spiritual dynamic, bringing with it new Spiritual privilege, that would definitely require a new response. I believe we are now in THAT season!
Suppose my relationship with God grants me eternal life through Jesus, and I'm now the benefactor of the bible's promises. I'm now 'positionally' in a place to become everything the Word of God says I am. Why am I not experiencing the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT given to demonstrate such a blessing?
Well, let's find out!
Jesus says, "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near." Fig trees are not a mystery. They are not a mystery in the Middle East, and they're not a mystery in my neighbor's yard down the street. You see, a bloom'n fig tree indicates a season. So this is what we must consider. Before the abomination of the desolation, we won't know the time of His return. But the preceding birth pains will undoubtedly signal the season.
The Great Tribulation will be the most challenging time in history for Israel, the Church, and the nations. Tribulation against the saints from the Antichrist because they refuse to worship him, and the nations, because the World Economic Forum will see to it the nations are pleased with the new government and economic system they've put in place. However, Bible Believing, Prophetically Minded Children of God will be shouting from the rooftops, "not so fast," while echoing the words of Jesus… do not be deceived!!
The preaching of the gospel in the coming days will be couched in an apocalyptic presentation that will not leave any listener in doubt about what’s to come. An apocalyptic reformation will precede the message of the cross. Not a retread of the 16th. Century version. A much rehabilitated view will ignite an apocalyptic evangelism that will shake the 21st. Century Church. A coming reformation and evangelism of a kind that will demand we present what Jesus and the prophets made clear; there is a Gospel of the Kingdom coming to earth!
What used to take decades, now takes minutes! That’s a big deal. Think about it. Knowledge.. the ability to know something and communicate it is nearly instantaneous. And that ability, in this timeframe in which we live, speaks volumes about the importance of Bible prophecy, how it's being communicated, and our responsibility for conveying such knowledge with divine accuracy.
In Chapter 12 of Daniel, the prophet received one of the most panoramic presentations of the events that would close this age. In particular, two on-ramps that would point to a global interconnectedness of knowledge, products, media, economics, and technology. In today's language, we call that 'globalization.' "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Travel and knowledge. Lets see what a global society that might look like for the children of God.
There are plenty of activities these days to chill the human soul. Brief respites in the church world to relieve some of the global tensions of the day. I suggest these entertaining activities will ultimately be insufficient to bring the peace we seek. It'll be lovesick hearts given to the prophetic Word of God, ready to set aside our pedestrian prayers, as legit as they may be, and fasten our hearts to prophetic prayer and intercession that we might know the mind of the Spirit at the closeout of this present age.
There was a nuclear option in Noah’s day. I think it was called a flood! Might there be a nuclear option in our day? I believe there is. And our response to and participation in prophetic intercession and prayer will be the determining factor in just how well we come through that future flood of evil.
I believe we can point to Jeremiah as an excellent model for prophetic intercession, and here’s why. God gave this very insecure young man an assignment to pray for an entire nation about to take up residence in another land, and it wasn’t the promised Land! Kind of like some of us, who are, or shortly will be called to make prophetic intercession for a nation. Perhaps the one in which we currently reside. Or maybe Israel, during the time of Jacob’s Trouble. That’d be quite an assignment, wouldn’t it?
The Church is a Godly remnant, the heavenly offspring of the Covenant nation Israel. It's the grafted in branches and the corporate prophet to the nations. The Church is not some afterthought of the Godhead simply because Israel didn't get it at the time! So, what's holding back the return of Christ and the end of this age? Indeed, the travail of Zion in the Great Tribulation. That final cry from the earthly Jerusalem, the Church.
Any people whatsoever? None, other than those to whom God spoke, and the prophets wrote! Israel is a miraculous nation of unmatched gifts and callings, presently declaring to the international community the mantra, ‘never again.’ While in a not too distant future, again, hostel neighbors will plot a Time of Trouble for Jacob, this time, it’ll forever change the world!
What can we know about these unprecedented days ahead? Are there clear timing indicators that point to a sequence of events that will prepare the Church and the nations? There are, so get your pen in hand and your bible open to Matthew 24.
The Keys of the Kingdom Jesus presented to His disciples in Matthew 16 bestow full and open access to the child of God. However, binding and loosing the harmful elements of our lives were never meant to be a novelty item for placing presumptuous demands on God. Embracing their eternal purpose might prove to be the wisdom necessary in the crisis of the age-ending events prior to the Lord's return. Just what are we to secure tightly and release confidently?
It may not come with bullets and bombs but perhaps from explosive bursts of marginalization, cancel culture, coming from a wok generation that sees our God and our deepening love for His son, entirely out of step with societal norms. Might removing insignificant folks like us from the global conversation of the day be performing God an excellent service?
The soul of man was not created to control one's life but rather to be a translator of the revelation of the Holy Spirit on the earth. That magnificent housing of the human will and emotions, that piece of biological genius, was created to remain in a continuous state of Godly surrender—an indispensable condition for successful navigation of the critical days ahead. Let's learn how God wants to perform that miraculous transition.
The Lord says He will raise up a deposed dynasty; the Davidic dynasty. The Son of David, Jeshua, the Jewish Messiah is returning, which will change everything. God will raise up a nation of people, held in covenant disobedience for the past two thousand years, suddenly, in one day.
Might God have an unimaginable end-time plan in the works that will shock the world and the powers of the air? Perhaps there's an implausible partnership between the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 and a tribulation church? I can't prove such a relationship will develop. But I do note that in the closing hours of this age, the Two Witnesses and a very EFFECTIVE Church will be on the earth simultaneously and perhaps in close proximity. The Bible is evident those two constituents of end-time ministry will not go unnoticed by the world or the powers of the air. Might, at some point, they be working together? That's a little considered question these days, so let's explore the possibilities!
I strongly suggest the Church will soon become incapacitated with anything less than prophetic intercession in houses of prayer worldwide. The Church is a 'gathering house.' Might the Spirit be saying, 'let's start gathering now rather than waiting?' Learning how to pray in the Spirit, receiving a prophetic unction, an expression that arises deep within our souls.
As said on TV... "But There's MORE!" Jesus' very personal 'bad news, good news' presentation to the Apostle Peter may be an equally important storyline for the 21st. century Church. Check out this important episode and see what that personal encounter might look like in an end-time Church.
Now the battle begins in earnest—an end-time battle. The question, of course, is which battle is this? There's been more than a bit of debate about whether this confrontation comes sooner or later. Let's find out.
Ezekiel 38 introduces us to the mysterious Gog. One who will lead Israel and the nations into a conflagration that will close out this age and introduce the age to come. Plenty of questions to pose, including the identity of Gog, in what war will he will be particularly involved, how does he surprisingly overwhelm Israel by igniting ‘Jacob’s Trouble, and more?
We must recover a sense of urgency for the time in which we live!!!
An urgency that is not based on fear but power, love, and soundness of mind. A now event that requires a history with God. A time and purpose investment. Prayer, intercession, travail, corporate calls to prayer with a clear mandate, and call to apocalyptic evangelism. A God-ordained, clear-cut voice to the nations that ‘it’s coming.’ A supernatural event that is going to change everything.
Well, are you ready to search out a couple of Bible mysteries, one in particular, literally held in plain sight, and see if we can gain some understanding of what God is up to as we draw even closer to the end of this age?
Let’s take on one important mystery that I believe presents a clear timing indicator for a physical return of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, to the earth!
The bible is clear, there is a 'being' that is restraining the return of the Lord. While the Apostle Paul made it clear to the Thessalonian Church Jesus will not return until there is a great falling away and the Antichrist is revealed, there is one ensconced in the heavens who is keeping that from happening. Join us as we explore Paul's explanation about what must yet take place for Jesus to return.
What began as a small spiritual movement in Israel two thousand years ago has become a gospel enterprise on many levels in America. While the West has been responsible for an effective global missionary movement the past couple of centuries it must also be held accountable for some very convoluted theologies that have steered many in the wrong direction. Perhaps we would do well to return to the apocalyptic gospel taught by the Son of God.
When prophets speak, there's a profound, disturbing of the peace. The divisions and controversies that follow the Word of the Lord are not the creation of Jesus or the prophets that preceded Him. It's the outcome of a fallen sin-sick world. A coming generation will make hearts ready to give significant hope to a population on the earth in the crisis to come. Jesus is returning, and the government, the Rule of Law, the political, financial, societal institutions on the planet are going to be upon "His shoulder," a God-Man's shoulder!
There will be a peace covenant set in the Middle East that will confound the nations in the not too distant future. A coming agreement leading to world chaos and international warfare; an age-ending event that initiates the return of Jesus Christ. God’s future dealings with Israel will not begin when the Jewish state is threatened with immediate danger by their Arab neighbors but when the nation is secure and prosperous.
The final witness to Israel and the nations that God is wrapping up this fallen age is given to the Church. The Bible presents no other end-time voice for such an occasion. It's why God chooses to place a 'future world government' on the shoulder of His Son.
It's biblically clear the manifold wisdom of God and His righteous judgments on the earth is to be made known by His church. A wisdom that will put the principalities and powers of the air on notice their time is short and a corporate prayer movement formed that will move the redeemed, Jew and Gentile, right into the age to come.
Eph 3:10 " to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places..."
This is an episode rich with scripture and prophetic insight into mysteries God has held close to His heart as He prepares a Church for the apocalyptic tasks ahead.
God is raising up forerunners in this season. Young men and women stepping out ahead of the conventional wisdom of the day, to make sense of these unprecedented activities of the Holy Spirit that will soon center in Israel. Transitional generations require a heightened level of consecration. I believe God gives a greater grace to transitional generations, to empower consecration through holy separation for His higher purposes. Those higher purposes will come with considerable opposition. Let's see how the Lord is preparing us.
The Church has lived too long in perceived freedom to embrace convenient doctrines that frankly, can’t be supported in the Bible.. particularly in relation to Israel. What I’m saying here, is that many of our conventional ideas of the Church’s relationship with Israel and vice versa… may need some tweaking before this age ends!! SO, LET'S DO SOME TWEAKING!
Often, the complaint from some readers of the book of Revelation is "John's prophecy is just too complicated and confusing, I just want to give up on any attempt to understand bible prophecy." I must agree it can look a bit overwhelming on the front end but if we look carefully we'll see the angel of the Lord provides some pretty detailed interpretation of this mysterious book. Join us as we provide a bit more insight into a "Revelation Riddle."
The end-time church will soon become gifted into holy apostolic and prophetic offices by which it will make known God's wisdom and His apocalyptic mysteries to thedemonic powers of the air. A divine honor of responsibility given to the children of God to demonstrate the power of the blood to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.
To exercise such authority and overcome the demonic forces of darkness, we must first wrestle with God in irresistible prayer as Jacob did in Genesis 32.
I believe the subject of Israel is the beginning point for any discussion regarding election, what God has made clear in His Word regarding the end times, the issue of Covenant, the Lord’s purpose for the Church its divine mandate, and a host of other considerations.
Has there been any greater mystery in history than Israel and its earthly journey from antiquity? Any people whatsoever? NONE, other than those to whom God spoke and the prophets wrote.
The Critical Must, an event that must occur at the end of this age. Little considered, but nevertheless, a prophetic given God will have a Judaeo Centric Millennium and a Jewish man will rule the world from there. And, to top that off, the corporate headquarters for this Kingdom will be in the Land… yes, that land!!
If there is anything in view these days it’s the speed at which the world’s new political, social, agendas are bringing about a radically new order that will soon bring God’s divine patience to a quick halt.
“FOR HE WILL FINISH THE WORK AND CUT IT SHORT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BECAUSE THE LORD WILL MAKE A SHORT WORK UPON THE EARTH."
“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy", therefore, to know and understand the divine wisdom and will of God in history, [past, present, and future] will require the study of Bible prophecy. Prophetic truth is the display of the wisdom and glory of God’s sovereign purpose, His action, and vindication throughout history is ultimately at stake in our view of prophecy.
There's a generation of young adults being raised up today that they will carry their hearts in a continual spirit of intercession and travail, once again filling stadiums with the masses to call out to God in unusual ways and anointings as we edge ever closer to the birth pains and labor contractions of a coming Kingdom. A generation Spirit gifted in apocalyptic evangelism.
The mystery of the Two Days of Hosea 6 will require the Church to see not only the signs of His return… significant signals, timing indicators clearly stated in the Word of God but more importantly, see a specific sign that will be nearly impossible to miss by either the Church or the World. The sign of the sacrifice!
Many in the Church are choosing to look to the ancient record of biblical history for answers to the increasingly prophetic events of the day. A sizable portion of those seekers is choosing to embrace a teaching that puts nearly all prophetic signs in the past; that the prophecies of Matthew 24, Revelation, etc. were fulfilled in 70 AD. There's a significant danger to this popular view as a former preterist, Dr. Brock Hollett shared with me in a recent interview.
Bryan Purtle is our special guest as we continue to enjoy the ministries of a number of Bible teachers at a conference in northern Minnesota. Bryan addressed Amos 9 in the context of the "Sifting and Salvation of all Israel." Bryan points out this mystery will play out in the most intense period of history... the Great Tribulation, as the covenant nation, at last, has revelation of the 'one whom they pierced.'
Reggie Kelly takes on Hosea 6:2 and the mystery of the 'two days.' Certainly, we are beginning to apprehend the signs of the times, signs, Reggie points out will lead to the Sign. This is an episode rich with scripture and prophetic insight into mysteries God has held close to His heart as He prepares a Church for the apocalyptic tasks ahead.
Important teaching on the changing face of 'evangelism.' Let’s call it 21st. century evangelism, in the apostolic sense, its very roots include a revealed mystery of covenant, an everlasting covenant made with Abraham. A covenant much overlooked by the Church.. nevertheless, a most important component that initiated our ingrafting into the covenant and blessings of Abraham that came at the cross. A covenant and a gospel proclamation, held as a mystery that must and will be made known, by the Church, to the Jew and the nations before the return of the Lord. Not either-or... but both!
Let’s take a big jump from UFOs to the word most associated with the phenomenon and land on the word.. apocalyptic! What does the Bible say about an apocalypse, apocalyptic evangelism? Evangelism is all-encompassing. It’s not just all about preaching to the lost. It’s also about preaching to the choir. It’s about the church’s upward call to apocalyptic evangelism. A revelation of the hidden mysteries of the Kingdom. A last day’s preparation that will require the full counsel of God, to the churched and unchurched!
"We preach for the absence of criticism, instead of the presence of the Holy Spirit.” That's quite a statement. It certainly got my attention when I first hear it. Mat 24:45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?” As pastors and teachers, I strongly believe we’ll be more intently required to pay close attention to the word of the Lord, shifting to a more apocalyptic presentation.. a seasonal word that will go to preparing those to whom we’ve been given stewardship.
I only have a minute with sixty seconds in it! A lot can be accomplished in a minute, or two, or three. A very short episode... just minutes, but I think you'll find some positive takeaways in it.
Might we be seeing an approaching end to Gentile domination over God's covenant people, Israel? A composite of all the empires that have opposed Israel throughout its existence. Can we be so bold as to believe the biblical promise the nations will flock to the God of Jacob in the age to come? I believe so!
Reggie begins with a preview of the first 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th. week. The comprehensive events that will lead to the Great Tribulation, offering insight into details that even Jesus presented to His disciples in the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24. Reggie also points to the infamous ‘little horn’ who undergoes a miraculous transformation to become the Man of Sin in the Great Tribulation. Some exciting and pertinent information for the Church in this hour.
Our good friend Reggie Kelly joins us for a look at a coming prophetic season that will capture fully the attention of a slumbering church and ignite a season of challenge and a great opportunity for it to arrive at its divine purpose. Reggie shows us that before the Lord comes the nations will indeed rage, however, there will be a people on the earth 'who know there God, are strong... a people [Church] of understanding who will instruct many' at the most intense time in history.

The final episode in our series of teachings from our good brother, Travis Bennett. Travis has provided some wonderful insight on an often little understood Revelation 12. I would encourage you to listen to episodes parts 1-3 so you catch the entire context of the chapter. Travis does excellent work tying the timing of these events to surrounding chapters as well.
As the U.S. govenment prepares to release a Pentagon report on the mysterious UFOs frequently sighted by military personnel, might God be preparing the Church to take a bit more seriously the unseen realm of intelligent, organized evil? We take a look at what the Bible says about mysteries God intends to reveal the closer we get to His return to the earth.
Episode 3 of our interview with Travis Bennett on the prophetic structure of Revelation 12. Travis takes us to the Red Dragon of verse two and then leads us into an incarnation, the work of the Antichrist on the earth, and the global deception that will follow such supernatural events. This is the most insightful presentation I have ever witnessed on the end-time work of satan through this coming man of sin. Making sense of the organized, intelligent unseen realm of our day!
Part two of our interview with Travis Bennett will take us even deeper into the meaning of the cosmic geography of Revelation 12. Travis points out the 'woman' in verse one is now about to be challenged by a 'fiery red dragon,' yet another prophetic encounter for Israel in the Great Tribulation. A cosmic clash that will be seen in real-time on the earth.
I recently uploaded a podcast entitled, “A future covenant with death and hell,” We looked in some detail at the present conditions in the world that are leading up to a major political and spiritual shift in the Middle East, particularly Israel and her neighbors in the Arab world.
Later I listened to a Youtube presentation of ‘God’s Foretold Work’, a YouTube program I often hear and sometimes participate in. My good friend Reggie Kelly was talking about current events in Israel and the increasing hostilities between Israel and Hamas. A conflict that some believe could lead to a war of a much more serious nature. Reggie had some important words to share, relating to many of the events we had just spoken of in the podcast and how the current conflict between Israel and Hamas might well be leading to something much more serious.
Our good friend, Bible teacher Travis Bennett joins us for a deep dive into Revelation 12. Cosmic geography, the removal of Satan from the heavenlies, and the Church's role in this marvelous chapter can pose many questions unless we see the omniscience of God in the outworking of the events that will forever change the world and its residents.
Israel has grown very prosperous when invaded suddenly and unexpectedly by the Antichrist. For the first time in 19 centuries the temple and sacrifice have been restored, and the people dwell securely in peace and safety. this time when they face near catastrophic destruction. How much more must the Church of the final days ponder the profoundly instructive prophetic words of the Lord for such a time that is coming??
“The Beast that Was, and is Not, and Yet is.” As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.”
A riddle? Yes. And the Apostle John says this is the mind that has wisdom to learn and settle this riddle. Solving this puzzle now, whether you believe you will be here or not, will go far in understanding the supernatural events that will take place on the earth before the return of Christ.
Change can be good or it can be bad. Change is almost always preceded by chaos so depending on the outcome you might look forward to a great day or a very terrible day. The Apostle Paul invested some significant time preparing young Timothy for change as he began his ministry at Ephesus, one of the most important churches in Asia Minor.
Just as Daniel's intercession in Chapter 9 was necessary to release the prophetic revelation in Chapter 10 by releasing the Archangel Michael to remove the opposing Prince of Persia, we must ask, will a Church facing its greatest spiritual challenge be appointed to know what’s coming and by means of intercession become an end-time Daniel and likewise be enlightened like Daniel? I believe the Bible shows us a Daniel anointing in the Church will pave the way for the return of Christ.
The Archangel Michael’s heavenly victory, results, not only in woe for the earth but in the great anointing of power coming upon the Church, the intercessor in residence, for the final testimony that results in a multitude beyond human ability to count coming out of ‘the tribulation.”
We look closely at the mystery of intercessory prayer, especially in the context of Daniel's experience when the messenger sent to the prophet was waylaid by the demonic prince of Persia. Might we see a similar ambush before the Lord's return? Might we be surprised by who steps in to bring about an order of events?
The Church, the Millennium and Israel. Plenty of open discussion there! Just what is God's purpose for a new age, a 1000 year reign of Messiah from Jerusalem, the heartland of Jewish eschatology? Are there not simpler ways for the Lord to wrap up 6000 years of human government and demonstrate a once and for all purpose for His covenant people Israel? Probably not, because He's going to take a Millennium to validate His covenant decisions before the nations.
Every great move of God began with prayer… Crisis prayer… the kind that comes at a turning point in a decisive or critical moment in history. Jesus experienced ‘crisis’ prayer in the Garden, where the certainty of His death was to the point of being overcome so much as to cause death. The 'shock' coming to the church as the world looks for answers to the way out of one crisis after another, is certain to drive us to 'crisis' prayer. So get ready to fall to your knees!
The principalities and powers of the air who dominate the peoples of the earth are pouring forth a tumultuous rage, calculating to resist God’s government of absolutes, the moral fabric that actually prevents the nations from imploding upon themselves. God’s holding this whole thing together until His appointed time! As we get closer to the return of the Lord, we would do well to see and understand the Holy Spirit's provided prophecies of preparation for the Church, the end time corporate prophet to the nations.
Tough decisions ahead for the Church, the family…and putting the Home in order, might well be Number One! Strategies that must be developed now.. because strategies put off for later, will be ineffective and too late. And MEN, it's you God has 'elected' to take the lead. And MEN, if you have a problem with God's choice... God has a problem with your problem!
No matter how detailed we might present end time events, their order, their intensity, the abundance of apocalyptic prophecy offered in both the old and new testaments, the major key to that entire period of troubling time will be the collective prayers of the Church.
As we adjust to the so-called new ‘normals,' what will be the condition of our collective hearts and how will we respond in the crisis? The Church is little prepared to navigate THAT new normal, neglecting one of the greatest tools of evangelism, the witness of apocalyptic prophetic evangelism, an instrument the Holy Spirit will use to ignite the greatest revival since Pentecost.
God’s kingdom permits, allows and encourages crowding ourselves, in a no holds barred, violent overcoming radical pursuit of the mind of Christ; that His ways might become our ways.. His thoughts, our thoughts. That's a great privilege given to an awakened Church. A privilege that also requires a greater response.
The prayers of the Church; the radical, corporate intercession and travail... the holy groanings of the saints, will be necessary to bring to completion all God has determined will prophetically take place. Your prayers, my prayers will be divinely required to move the heavens to eject the powers of darkness, bring about the judgments of God and usher in His Kingdom on earth.
Revelation 12 shows us a spectacular, supernatural event occurs to begin the Great Tribulation. It's an end time manifestation seldom considered in the Church these days but requires Believers everywhere to respond. For "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down..." A critical prophecy with powerful ramifications for the Tribulation Church.
There’s a rage in the earth these days.. it’s becoming more intense and it will spread globally before the Lord’s return. The nations, in defiance, demanding 'this God will not rule over us.' The thing that most troubled me in the recent riot on capitol hill, was the number of protestors who carried ‘Jesus’ signs or banners… as if somehow God was validating their furry and frenzy. Jesus warns us this is an hour of watchfulness.. an hour of Great Decision.
Why are we required to know the generation of the Lord's return? Jesus says, 'From the fig tree learn its lesson.' 'For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.' Interestingly, it’s ONLY the final generation that CAN KNOW…. because they are the eyewitnesses to the signs!!! God did not sneak-up on Noah… and He will not sneak-up on us… if we’re paying attention!
If you are weighing any possibility the Church will be on the earth to navigate the final seven years, you need to listen to this teaching. There is a strategic order of events God has set for the end of this age. The Scripture is consistent with the fact cosmic and seismic disturbances will occur after the tribulation, but before the Second coming, the rapture and return. Just what does that look like for the Saints?
There is no argument a great trumpet will sound at the 'catching up' of the redeemed at the end of this age but there is significant debate over what trumpet will be heard. Are there different trumpets for different comings? The answers from scripture will settle the discussion.
Just how close are we? What would you think.. What would you do.. What would radically change in your life if you recognized significant scripture that revealed long held mysteries to the return of Christ? Might we be at the beginning of the beginning of the 'critical must' events that will suddenly launch us into Daniel's 70th. week? Allow me to introduce you to a 'minor' prophet with some 'MAJOR' prophecies!
If your frame of reference is only the ‘left behind’ series you read years ago and you have not invested time in the Old Testament scriptures that speak clearly of this time, you are placing yourself in a position of fear and trepidation that will only allow you to see escape! What must we know if the Church will be here for the final events of this age?
A very interesting podcast today. A Holy Spirit interruption taking me off the 'rails' for a time as we considered prophetic input from a couple of friends about the persecution that will come. Radical pushback not only from the world, but also sincere Believers in Jesus who see our warnings against blatant deception of a coming time of 'peace and safety' as outside the conventional wisdom of the global Church.
As a future end time drama gets underway a savvy Church will recognize the change in season, shifts in ecology, pestilences, rage among nations, leading to ethnic conflict in and among peoples at odds over moral absolutes and issues of social justice. Sounds a bit like today! Are we at the beginning of the beginning of these important signs? Jesus provides a sequence of events that should clear away any confusion.
We’re coming to a turning point in history the Church has long expected. Although, we’ve had many different theories on how that will play out, there are not many of us these days who believe this earth and its residents can much longer tolerate its self indulgent self-destruction. Jesus is going to return as groaning spiritual midwives travail in the birthing of a Church without spot or wrinkle. And Matthew 24 clearly counts the cost.
The Son of God wastes no time letting His followers know what should have their undivided attention. That knowledge is important now and especially in the next few years. Scripture reveals the approximate time of His return, albeit in a way that would remain hidden from the majority of professing Christians until the last moments.
How does the Church prepare for the Matthew 24 moment… the ‘birth pains’ leading to ‘heavy labor contractions?’ God has heavily invested in the Church with critical preparation for the transition and glory that will come, YES, in the Great Tribulation.
The red letters of Matthew 24, Jesus’ most comprehensive explanation of the signs of His coming and the end of the age. We are beginning a detailed look at Matthew 24 in a series of podcasts that will give us wisdom to understand this distinct period and how to properly respond.
What is the Church going to look like as we approach the end of western culture, as we know it and transition into the ‘new normal?’ A transitional generation, who know their God, are strong in spirit, doing great exploits on the earth; a wave of young adults of exceptional spiritual wisdom, leading the greatest revival ever.
Judah had plenty of warnings of a coming captivity; 20 years of warnings. Likewise, the forerunners and prophetic Saints of today are developing a history with God that will provide them with a prophetic mantle that will ready the Church for the critical days ahead.
Apocalyptic Evangelism at the end of this age will have as its focal point the intercessors clear view of the unconditional covenant that to this day remains steadfast and sure. Why else should the church pray and travail over Jerusalem?
God’s doing a great redefining of Church as we know it. When He returns, it’ll be a church without spot or wrinkle. A body of believers who don’t love their lives.. even unto death. A Church consumed with the work of the Holy Spirit as literally hundreds of thousands, millions embrace the blood-bought saving grace of the Messiah.
John the Baptist. Much to learn from this greatest forerunner of all time. Yet, Jesus makes clear the forerunner/prophet of today will experience much greater privilege, which in turn, will require a greater response!
The Bible says 'The Lord will make a short work upon the earth.' We certainly seem to be coming to those days of 'suddenly' when that 'shortened' work of the Spirit will become exceptionally clear to the Church. And, revelation of end times events will no longer be subject to endless speculation but clear, sudden indications the time is short!
God is revealing His long held mysteries these days. Mysteries He's held in plain sight for millennia. Revealing timing indicators He wants us to recognize; time frames that are more precise that often considered.
The recent Abraham Accord in the Middle East is God's way of saying to the Church, 'it's time' to leave a few things behind and enter the 'secret place' of the most high God. He's beginning to reveal His 'secrets.'
We play hide and seek with our kids so we can be found. God hides His purposes’ until they are revealed to His prophets, the forerunners. Isaiah reveals three characteristics of the Forerunner: extravagant singing, sounding the prophetic proclamations of God through songs and music and intercession.
There’s a distinct, clarion voice in the earth being prepared to have the Word of the Lord in a season of radical transition preceding the return of the Lord. Will you separate yourself for such an assignment?
Joel gets right at it in chapter three. His prophetic words take us from the final end time judgments up to the edge and into the Millennial rule and reign of Christ. Literally, this is the most significant time period in history as God transitions the earth into a new age.
Chapter two of Joel is one of the most important chapters in the Bible, a event that must be nearly entirely seen as future. The prophet provides a graphic picture of the coming military devastation and God's glorious vindication of His people.
Joel 2 takes us from a great locust invasion in the Land to the necessary response from such devastation. It is abundantly clear the end of this age will bring crisis events that will require abundant wisdom and knowledge to navigate... and Joel provides us with specific instructions on how to do so.
The prophecies of the Book of Joel are going to get more 'air time' in the Church in the coming days as the world navigates the coming tensions and mind boggling complexities that will end with the soon return of the Lord. In fact, I believe Joel is more relevant to our day than to his own. Let's introduce this insightful prophet.
Where is God taking the Church these days if His plan is to present us as Body without 'spot or wrinkle?' We have a way to go as He brings us to the end of our fleshly power. Much to consider here.
No question the Rapture and when it will occur has generated much debate and controversy, but many are abandoning novel theories and checking things out for themselves. So, let's check out what they're finding!
The Day of the Lord. A great day of transition with so many glorious events. There is debate in the Church regarding that 'day' and just when it will come. The Bible gives us timing indicators that shed considerable light.
The sun, moon and stars are mentioned in a number of the Bible's apocalyptic scriptures. We talk about these cosmic events and how they might be directly related to the devastation that follows.
Entering into the time of the Great Tribulation two anointed ones will enter into a ministry mandate celebrated by the Church but troubling for much of the world. There's quite a background to the story of the Two Witnesses and what their particular end time mission might really be! Join us in Revelation 11.
The Apostle Paul makes clear only the revelation of the 'man of sin' will pave the way for the return of the Lord at the end of this age. But we must also ask, 'who' is holding back and resisting that revelation? I believe Paul unravels that mystery in 2 Thessalonians 2.
The timing of the return of Christ has prompted much debate in the church. But the Apostle Paul unveils two great mysteries that must come first.
An increasingly volatile global community is set against Israel and the Church. It’s an inspired rage gripping the nations, most notably in the Middle East. In Psalm 2 King David clearly presents the rage as against the God of Abraham. This isn't by accident.
We launched "The Critical Musts" in January 2020. It's been quite a journey as we've seen these teachings reach cities and nations around the globe. I'm constantly astonished at God's grace to honor such an effort. "Introduction to the Critical Musts" lays the groundwork for our purpose and sequence of teachings that will provide additional insight into the Bible's clear view of the events that 'must' precede the return of Jesus and the necessary preparation the Church must take in prayer, intercession, and travail to navigate the challenging days ahead. Join us in the journey!
