With a conservative upbringing I have always had an understanding that the #1 most important thing that I can do in life is to help others. American news organizations have completely died a slow and agonizing death over the last 20 years or so. Left in their place are "media" companies who offer their opinions and "feelings" on what is going on in the world around us. They do not report the news, they try and manipulate you into adopting their opinion or viewpoint on any topic so they can convert you into their ideologically biased reasoning.

The Presidential candidates are taking credit for plans to take "federal monies" and send it to the states for "our benefit". This brings up a critical issue in the way that the state governments interact with the Federal Gov. The Fed is taking YOUR hard earned money, skimming some off the top and then returning a small piece of that money to the state for (name your federal funding reason). The fed should never tax you and me to turn around and give money to the state. The State should (and does) tax it's citizens for the monies it needs to operate, even in an emergency. The Federal government is too big and wasteful to operate any more!

Add to that the states are beginning to announce billion dollar cuts in their budgets and you have the recipe for a total financial meltdown. Are you prepared to weather the storm?
While state governments across the USA rushed to shut down schools and private business out of an "abundance of caution" during the Covid-19 pandemic, they ignored those who were most likely to catch and die from the virus, and the results have proven this to be true. Why were they so focused on closing small businesses while ignoring those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities and prisons while telling us we all needed to be practicing "safe distancing"?

Why do federal funds to state and local governments always have strings attached when it is our money to begin with? Is this legal? Is it responsible? Should it continue?
Think back to when states started to announce the "stay-at-home" orders we are all confined to right now. Do you remember what they told us? Do you remember that they said "two weeks so that the hospitals can be better prepared"? Do you remember that they said "flattening the curve will not lower the number of infections or deaths but it will spread it out so the hospitals can handle the volume"? Do you know how many times they have changed the narrative, expecting you to follow along like good obedient sheep?

The two party system that dominates our federal and most state governments is killing the constitution and the country as a whole. A government comprised of representatives "OF THE PEOPLE" can not exist when the elected representatives are required to answer to their party demands above those of their electorate.
The Constitution of the USA is 7,600 words of a document that puts controls and restrictions on the federal government and those who represent the citizens in our government. Today bills are written to include hundreds of thousands of pages. Who are single bills more complicated and complex than our founding documents themselves?
Our constitution is under attack by those who it was written to control. It is time for We The People to stand up against our corrupted government and return our country to a constitutionally focused body!
