I sat down with former Waterville H.S Football player and current MMA fighter, Jon "The Warhawk" Piersma. It was nice to catch up with Jon and talk about his football playing days and his journey to becoming an MMA fighter and the dream of getting called up to fight in the UFC.
We were able to sit down with RFA Women's basketball Alum, current Lemoyne College transfer, Amya McLeod joined us to talk about transferring from Youngstown St to Lemoyne and the impact being local had on her decision. We also spoke to Oriskany Head Baseball Coach, Eric Enos about their Section 3 Class D Championship and their most recent win that punched their ticket to the State Final Four.

Notre Dame girls basketball coach, John Snyder and Sr. Maggie Trinkaus joined The Rock Pile to talk about their State Title run and how much the community support helped rally this team.
I had the opportunity to talk to Utica University Head Men's Hockey Coach, Gary Heenan on their upcoming NCAA tournament game against Plymouth St.
We also talked to Notre Dame Girls Head Basketball Coach, John Snyder as he was on the bus enroute to play Chenango Forks for a right to advance to the NYS Final Four. (they won 65-51)
We also had the opportunity to talk to Clinton Boy's Head Basketball Coach, Mike Hayduk on his team's run to the Section 3 Class B Finals and what it's like to coach alongside his dad.

I had the opportunity to interview Colgate and Le Moyne Head Men's Basketball coaches on the show. I interviewed Matt Langel and Nate Champion. I spoke to Coach Langel about his team peeking at the right time and how much his seniors have meant to this program. They are looking at punching their ticket to a 4th Consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance if they win the Patriot League.
I spoke to Coach Champion about making the jump from a Division 2 program to Division 1. They are in the thick of things in the Northeast Conference and have beaten the top team twice this season. We also spoke about his playing career and who some of his mentors have been in his young coaching career. You wont want to miss this episode !

Colgate Head Football Coach Stan Dakosty joined The Rock Pile to talk about the past 2020-21 season and previewed the upcoming season. Coach previewed the 2022 Patriot League and highlighted some of the returning players.
Colgate Head Men's Basketball Coach Matt Langel joined The Rock Pile to talk about the 2021-22 season. Colgate won another Patriot League Championship and earned a consecutive trip to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Colgate opened against the #3 Seed Wisconsin Badgers and fell 67-60 in the opening round. Colgate earned a #14 Seed.
Utica College Head Men's Basketball Coach, Sean Coffey sat down with us to talk about the shortened season and the upcoming Empire 8 tournament. He was kind enough to talk about local, RFA Grad, Damian Call who is also the all-time leading scorer for the Black Knights.
It was great to talk with current Liverpool HS Head basketball coach and SU Alum, Ryan Blackwell.

What it was like growing up in Rome and the crowds on Friday nights. We also talked in depth about his coaching career at Hamilton College, as he approaches 40 years at one place, it was a fun show.
