The cost-of-living crisis appears to be spiralling out of control. The Chancellor is urged to intervene in Wednesday's Spring Budget. Eddie discuss the difficulities many are facing around the country, and the difficult position of the Chancellor who is trying to reign in government spending and balance the budget with Lindsay Judge, a Research Director at The Resolution Foundation and Joe Armitage, the Lead UK Political Analyst at the consultancy firm Global Counsel.

Over in Ukraine, horror stories are emerging from those fleeing the southern city of Mariupol. The Defence minsiter of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov earler this afternoon has accused the Russian government of 'genocide' over its attacks. We speak with former Ukranian Defence Minister Andriy Zagordnyuk to get overview of the situation in Ukraine, and on the ground he speaks with Neil Haeur, aa Canadian journalist and analyst , who has been spending time in Kharkiv.
