In this episode, I talk about leaning into the gift you’ve been given and finding a way to share its immense value with others. There are about 60 days left until the year is over and there’s still time to aggressively share your gift with those around you—especially if you’re already using social media.

As antiheroes, we usually already know what our gifts are and we’ve already been presented with the platform we can use to share it. But because of our shame, we’ve abandoned our post, so to speak, and have chosen to do something less challenging or with a lower profile. I challenge you to take the next two months and embrace the “Lean In” theme to aggressively share value with the world. Not by spamming, but by being generous with your ability to do what already comes naturally to you.

And I’m in this with you! By creating and sharing more content on the Antihero Clinic, I’m choosing to lean into my gift of being able to streamline thoughts and ideas to help others learn their story and live their purpose.

In this episode, I invite my good friend and leadership consultant Pierre Quinn of the Leading While Green podcast to discuss the difference between goals and systems, how they impact repeatable success. It’s the reason why the Miami Heat will likely not win the 2020 NBA Championship and also why your startup isn’t as sustainable as you’d hoped.

In this episode, Chris explores what the Prime Program is in The Matrix movie trilogy by reading a well-crafted article from the Matrix wiki website and giving his commentary. You’ll also explore how Neo eventually becomes an antihero when he has to make a decision between choosing humanity (by destroying Zion) vs. saving his love, Trinity (by reentering the Matrix and avoiding his immediate deletion).

Listen now | I recorded a dry (very dry) run of an audio version of my first newsletter to test out Substack’s podcast feature. For starters, I think I’ll need a catchy jingle and a more enthusiastic beginning. And maybe even a mic! What do you think? Here’s the “transcript” below (which is really just the first published newsletter).
