We bring fun news stories, current events, and personal stories. We are personality radio at it’s most mediocre.
Today my co-host brandon is still out of town, but we still have a great show, beginning with the most expensive house in America! $250,000,000 US dollars! That's an insane amount of money! with 3,530 Sq meters (38,000 Sq feet), 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, three kitchewns, and a helipad, only the craziest rich guys would even consider buying this house! What is your house like? In the audio file, I speak about the house i own with my wife, and why I would never buy a place like this (although the helicopter would be awesome!)
We then get into News from Florida, with a 91 year old who attempts a murder in broad daylight because someone got grass on his car. Quote, "Anybody messes with my Cadillac gonna find themselves in the grave. Once I get out of prison, I'm gonna hunt those punks down and finish the job". The second story from florida includes a woman who loves getting beaten up, and wants more. She is also a billionaire witch who won't use the toilet because it's "too dirty". Going in her pants is apperently not too dirty though.
Finally, we have a Love Pile, including how to tell if an online date is interested in a long term relationship or one-night-stand, why women love their expensive purses, and mistakes you made before marriage that could lead to divorce.
Listen online and download the show into your phone or other media device and listen anywhere you go!
Cliff & Brandon are radio talk show hosts from Sacramento, California. See you again with a new show next week.
On this week's edition of the English Express Radio Program, we discuss a homeless pile! It seems Denver is giving homeless folks one way tickets out of town, and a new survey says 33 is the magic age most people start caring about people other than themselves. Then a poor bangledesh man in Saudi Arabia had the audacity to look through the window of a jewelery store and was made fun of for it on social media. Download the show using the link provided and hear all of today's stories along with our fun and entertaining commentary.
Do you name your car? My 1991 Toyota pickup truck's name is Checkers, and we bring to you a full list of the most popular car names in America. Bestsy is #1 overall. What a terrible name for a car.
In the second segment we discover a leader of the Neo Nazi movement in America who has been forced to resign thanks to his Jewish wife. The strangest part of the story is it seems his Jewish wife was actively involved in his blog and podcast, and even read an anti-Jewish version of "The Night Before Christmas". Predictably, the Nazi movement has not taken this news very well.
and last, we discuss 'measure your feet' day, where the shape and size of your toes, and even the width of your feet can reveal some of your personality traits! Listen online and download the show into your phone or other media device and listen anywhere you go!
Cliff & Brandon are radio talk show hosts from Sacramento, California. See you again with a new show next week.
So, Donald Trump is officially the new 45th president of the United States, and not everyone is happy about it! In an effort to educate people who might only be watching what is happening in America from afar, we begin today of the English Express Radio Program with some interesting facts about the inaguartion, and we hear from some of those people who are less than happy. Download the 30 minute audio file right now, and let us know what you think!
We play a few sound bites from Ashley Judd who believes Trump is Hitler incarnate, Madonna wants to blow up the white house, and Sally Boynton Brown is in the running to be the new chairman of the Democratic Party. This is an interesting one, because at the present moment the Democrats have virtually no power in America, and they're in a rebuilding phase. If you have never heard of this woman, you have to listen because she is... C-R-A-Z-Y, and we play you some of her insanity here today and help you understand it.
Then we finish with Trump's ex wife looking for free haircuts, and a new moth named after Trump! We hope you enjoy listening to the show! Cliff & Brandon are radio talk show hosts from Sacramento, California. See you again with a new show next week.
Monday was Martin Luther King Jr day here in America. If you don't know who King was, he is an incredibly important figure in American history who fought for civil rights for all minorities in the 1960's. He was assasinated by a bullet to the head and is now remembered on the 3rd monday of January each year. To honor him, we begin with a quiz - "Know Your King" where Brandon tests his knowledge of pop culture questions with the word "King" somewhere in the answer.
Then, we discuss many interesting facts about Martin Luther King day, such as the petition that made in a national holiday was delivered to Congress in 1970 with a total of six million names on it. This in the age before computers or the internet, and was and remains the largest official petition in US history. Listen to our show by downloading the audio file and catch more information on this and many other facts about MLK.
Then we talk about how you know you have a mouse problem, a man angry at the DMV for giving him the runaround and not answering his questions gets revenge. With pennies. Lots of pennies. Swastika shoes from Conal International Trading company, and a woman who didn't notice her sister had died under the kitchen table... for 18 months!
We hope you enjoy listening to this weeks' English Express Radio Program. Download the audio file and listen in your phone anywhere you go! Cliff & Brandon are radio talk show hosts from Sacramento, California. See you again next week with a new radio show!
Today on The English Express radio podcast, we begin with a food pile. We learn that Tart Cherry juice helps you sleep better and longer, while another man drinks poison to avoid jail (he deserves to both die and rot in jail. Sadly, we can only subject him to one of those). For those who enjoy KFC, there is now a KFC scented candle so your entire house can smell like fried chicken, even when you don't actually have any.
For those who don't know, whenever you order coffee from a Starbucks, the cashiers write your name on the paper cup and alert you when your drink is ready by calling out your name. Well, at this particular Starbucks the man ordering the drink is quite large, and as he had ordered a freshly made Grande White Chocolate Mocha runs 470 calories. For one drink. the name they wrote on the cup... well, let's just say they don't use his real name. Listen to today's 30 minute show to hear the details for this and all the other stories featured today.
We all know certain foods out there are aphrodisiacs, but what about foods that do the opposite? Yes many foods, such as soy, or fried foods can actually destroy your sex drive. Listen to the show for the full list of foods.
We also quiz the audience on certain famous people that you may or may not know. I think if you live in a country other than America, you DON'T know these people. Brandon thinks that they are so famous EVERYONE knows them. listen and send in your answers.
Last, a couple is infertile and can't afford fertility treatments. So they hire a neighbor man with 2 children to help them the old fashioned way. It... doesn't go as planned. Not the way you think, but one of my all time favorite stories. Cliff & Brandon are radio talk show hosts from Sacramento, California. Hope you enjoy listening! See you again next week!
Today on the English Express Radio Show, we start with smartphone news, including the American cities who buy the newest stuff. Then we find out how smartphones can make you go blind, and why you hate the way you look in photos.
We also talk about a new invention that Police can use to lasso your car, and why women care so much about which side of the bed they get to sleep on. Then we get into party news and discover how you can tell who is rich and who is poor at your next big gathering. Last, one man and his flute band (yes, a flute band) participated in violent riotsin England. The police put up photos of him in hopes that someone would recognize the man and help them identify him. No need, the moron couldn't help himself and tagged himslef in all the photos which led to an immediate arrest. And of course a man trying to rent his toilet - ONLY the toilet - for $4000 a month.

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! The holiday season is upon us! I thought it would be interesting to discuss some holiday news, including some examples of children writing to Santa Claus and what they say. Another Christmas tradition is going to meet santa at your local mall - well about 27% of dog owners are now taking their pets to sit on santa's lap... why??? I have no earthly clue. The holiday photo industry is a 2.2 Billion dollar market though! So at least Santa doesnt mind!
Then in segment 2, some horrible jerk is vandalizing one man's yearly Nativity scene. They cut of Mother Mary's head, and threw baby Jesus into the river. Of course, it is zombie Mother Mary, and zombie baby Jesus. So, that may be one reason behind it. Then there is the story of children's slides which are slicing fingers off as you go down, so that's not very good, and the man who took one of those toy plastic cars that the kids get into and drive around in at about the speed of a snail. Yea, he's installed a 160cc Honda engine into his child's toy car, and it goes 40 MPH (more than 60 KPH). So, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
We finish with the city of Los Angeles suing stores for lying about their "discounts" (that really aren't) and a group of teenagers playing "Nazi's VS Jews Beer Pong". it... ends as well as you might guess.
Cliff & Brandon are radio talk show hosts from Sacramento, California. Email your comments to info@theenglishexpress.com or send a message through Facebook. Hope you enjoy listening! See you again next week!
We are back with a great English Express Radio program for you today. We start in Japan, where they have built an ice skating rink that many are calling "weird, immoral, and soulless". We'll tell you about it. Then, we got an email in from Peter in Nigeria who asks us a question about love, relationships, and sex. We answer him of course, and this leads us directly into the Love Pile.
In today's love pile, we go over the new Men's Health article "How To Have A Great Conversation With Women". Compliments to make, and some you maybe shouldn't make. Of course there are rules in dating, and we go over a few of those as well. Who should pay on a first date? Does a man's 'potential' go up with his paycheck? Would you ever date your best friend's ex? How about your brother's ex?
Then in segment 2 we discuss men's forgetfulness (spoiler alert: men are much more forgetful than women), how to know if your love is cheating on you (hint: if you find strange stains in the back seat or large amounts of gasoline spilled INSIDE the car to cover up the scent of another woman, it may not be a good sign. Lastly, we discuss a few instances of 'good old fashioned family values'. When should kids move out, random drug testing in schools, and the like. 2nd segment continued our talk, with a quick story of a how-to speech I gave back in 1999 (with brandon actually) about smashing a pie in his face.
3rd segment was a little bit from the IELTS speaking prompt. Brandon was unprepared and not sure what to say, so if you want to hear a native speaker have trouble with an english test question, it’s a good one! The key though, is that he had something to say, and he kept talking even when he wasn’t sure.
Well, today’s show was PLANNED out really well I thought- Click here to download the show now, or find us on iTunes and subscribe to the podcast!
We started with a writing workshop, followed by a little bit of listener mail. We played the English Express Question Quiz game with questions from the US Citizenship test. I planned to do a story at the end about a time I wrecked my truck, but we ran out of time – so we will definitely do that next week for sure.
Unfortunately we had a number of technical difficulties, which had my internet connection down for a period of time, and it went down a few times during the show as well. Very irritating, (not the least of which was the damn intro music which sounded awful!!!!) however we will have everything fixed by next week. So, if you want to hear what it sounds like when things go terribly wrong, haha this is definitely the audio file for you! and hopefully it will still be entertaining and enjoyable.
Brandon forgot about our show today, so I went ahead and did it alone. We still had a great show! Click here to download the show now, or find us on iTunes and subscribe to the podcast!
We started with tips on writing better, how to better notice details to make a story that comes to life for your listener (or reader). The next segment we talked about some Labor Day facts, followed by listener mail and The English Express Question Quiz Game, which was on the subject of September 11th (Roman won. Email if you want to be a part of next weeks game)
and I finished the show speaking about where I was on September 11th, and an experience I had a few weeks later with a guest at the hotel where I worked at the time.

Our first show! A little mixed up because I haven’t been on the radio for many many years, but all in all, a good first effort! Click here to download the show now, or find us on iTunes and subscribe to the podcast!
