Social Media Platforms - Where Should you Focus Your Energy What social media platform should you be on? What are your goals for social media marketing? Why should you be on those platforms? Where do we see social media platforms going in the future?
If you've ever asked yourself any of these questions, this is the podcast for you!
There are so many social media platforms, it can be hard to know where to prioritize your marketing efforts: posts, blogs, longform or shortform video, podcasts? Today we're going to break down social media.
Most of us don't have the bandwidth to post hundreds of pieces of content every day. First, you need to answer what are your goals with social media? Do you want followers? Do you want revenue? The overall point is to post different content across different platforms positioned in different ways. Your goals will direct how you post.
If you're doing this to get your name out there as someone that has experience, knowledge, and is a contributor in your industry, to position yourself as a leader…that might be one goal. If you want your content to directly correlate to a revenue increase, that involves a different approach. Do you need the audience first or the conversion first?
I look at Internet and search as the Yellow Book of today. If you want instant conversion, content is key.

Is it too late to start digital planning this year? No! Start making that adjustment today. A year is just an arbitrary number when all is said and done. The point is to move forward by putting first things first. The Daily Key 3 are going to make the biggest impact on your goals. We unpack this concept in today's podcast. I recently listened to an audiobook called Atomic Habits. the main concept of this book is: small adjustments in life can make a big difference.
Google Analytics as we know it is going away and making room for the new GA4. What does the new Google Analytics mean for your website in the upcoming days and months? We unpack this and more in this podcast!
Establishing a Routine is Important to Success As we enter March, many of you have talked to me about establishing a pace for reaching your goals. I wanted to spend today's podcast talking about the importance of setting a routine. Routines give us the opportunity to introduce new habits, build stronger relationships, and help us work through those endless daily tasks. Challenges are a lot easier to overcome when you have a routine in place.
Here are 5 tips to finding success through developing a strong routine. 1. Write out your vision - Start by listing the tasks and priorities on your plate. Include daily to-do's, small tasks, and what you want to add to your plate.
2. Chart how you want to invest your time - Allocate time for friends, family, and work. Include time for job responsibilities, as well as time for development.
3. Create Structured Routines - In the Key2Success Planning System, we focus on 4 important routines:
1. Morning pre-flight
2. Morning routine
3. Evening routine
4. Nightly pre-launch, some like to call this wind down
The philosophy is to start your day with mental readiness, followed by a morning physical routine. Then, end your day with a physical routine and by taking time to mentally review and prepare time for the upcoming day.
4. Schedule out an ideal week - An ideal week is an important part of maintaining a routine
5. Schedule in Flex-Time - We make plans, but life happens. By having flex time scheduled into your ideal week, you will better be able to navigate those challenges that manifest unexpectedly. Flex time also allows you to set aside time for non-routine assignments, such as getting your hair done, doctor's appointments, an any social hiccups that might introduce themselves.
Routines are important because they give us the opportunity to introduce new habits we are trying to develop, build stronger relationships in our life, and even help us with working through our daily tasks.
If you're striving to get motivated and find what it means to be successful in 2021, this is the podcast for you. As we approach the second month of the year, it's time to truly get started and overcome the excuses. Planning and laying out the future is exciting, and digital planning is a great tool to help.
Why is Just One More Thing so important? The Key2Success Digital Planning System's Daily Key 3 are designed to help you maximize the crucial action steps to help you achieve your goals. However, there are some days that you just can't fit it all in - and that's ok.
We want to be perfect, so we get caught up in the details. I tell you from experience that it's not about being perfect, it's about taking that next step and just digging in. Focus on That One Thing that is going to help you take that next step.
Doing That One Thing different, with intention, and that is going to help you maximize your productivity, itch your creativity, whatever it is you're focusing on - and you're going to find success.
Don't count on electronic calendar or notifications to succeed. The goal of the planner is to help you own your time and give you the results that you need.
If you're stuck on the fact that the planner doesn't integrate with your calendar or notification service…that is where your problem begins. You're allowing an electronic notification service to run your life. Become accountable for your own time.
Don't allow outside forces to get into your head. Focus on what you are capable of doing!
Learn why you need to dedicate one hour to help you get momentum.
LISTEN as we dig more into these concepts.
In this podcast series, we're examining how to accomplish your goals in 2021 through digital planning.
Many of us that go through the change of the clock that is the new year and think we'll just hit our goals and ambitions right off the bat.
Establishing a routine, then understanding and adapting your routine, is key to becoming a successful planner. There are always actions we can take to "turn the dial up" just a bit to provide for extra returns.
Today, I want to talk about 2021. What does it mean to become a strong successful planner? It's all about establishing urgency in your plans. Key takeaways: We are a society that thrives off of urgency Same routine means same results Annualized planning should be used, but make your goals attainable through steps It's important to start NOW Most of us have great ideas and intentions, but we do not have great execution.
How are you going to restructure your routine to allow time and energy to maximize your own productivity? If a goal that you have is out of reach, make it realistic, but look at what you can execute every day to move closer to that goal - because it will make a huge difference in 2021.

As we?re kick off digital planning in 2020, one of the most impactful things you can do to start the year with is developing Annual Goals. Establish your vision for the year by using the Key2Success Planner?s 4 key areas of development: Self, Career, Relationships, and Community.
In order to utilize the Annual Goals successfully, it?s important to first set priorities. So many times at the beginning of the year, we have grand ideas on what we want to accomplish. We start out the year running. For a lot of us, that?s an adjustment because we?re not used to running at such a fast pace, and we can only sprint for so long before we start to lose energy. If you are a company investing more in graphic design than you are investing in your story, you are failing. If you are a media company more concern about how something looks, over how people will connect with the content, you are failing.
Why focusing on storytelling and quality of the content you are publishing is more important that your graphic design. People are no longer connecting with visual arts, they are engaging with stories, real people and content that brings them up.

New Marshfield Police Department radios went into service this week on January 13.
“We’ve slowly been transitioning out the old radios with the new ones,” said Police Chief Rick Gramza. "Based on individual’s work schedules and availability, we’ve been training them on how to use the radios, because they’re significantly different than our prior ones.”
The long-awaited portable radios were purchased to alleviate the signal issues the department was experiencing in various parts of the city. Upgrades to the tower system for the radios will occur sometime early to late spring.
Radios were tested from poor signal areas prior to purchase. “That’s when we realized we also needed the tower upgrades, because even the best radios weren’t going to fix all of our problems,” explained Gramza.
The new radios are 6.5 watts compared to the 5 watts of the former. Already the transmissions have been noticeably clearer, even on the outskirts of the city.
If the county ever decides to encrypt all channels or go digital, the radios will be able to accommodate those transitions, he said.
