Merry Christmas everyone!! This week the fellas are celebrating with episode 237 and a look back at the first round of the college football playoffs, what stood out the most, and which TEAM impressed the most. Then Staley recaps his Steelers losing a tough one to the Ravens, Stoner breaks down his Lions getting their 13th win after beating up on the garbage Chicago Bears, a quick discussion on the Commanders upsetting the Eagles in Philly, as well as the Vikings also getting their 13th win staying red hot after beating the Seahawks (how concerned is Stoner with the annoying Vikes led by MVP front runner Sam Darnold) then wrap the show with week 17 of the Staley and Stoner Six.
This week the guys kick off episode 236 with a look into the College Football Playoffs kicking off this weekend and give their predictions for all of the games from Indiana at ND, Clemson at Texas, Tennessee at Ohio State, and SMU going to Penn State. Then it's all things NFL, Staley breaks it down with his Steelers losing an ugly one to the Eagles, Stoner breaks down his Lions losing also ugly to the Bills, and both guys discus how their squads can recover. This week the guys kick off episode 235 with a couple quick hits; Bill Belichick landing the UNC head coach position for the Tarheels, will it or wont it work, and also the Eagles and the drama surrounding Hurts and Aj Brown after Brown bitched about the passing game and will it affect the teams playoff chances with four games remaining. Stoner gets after his Lions Ginormous ass kicking of the Cowboys in Dallas on Jerry Jones birthday of all days, just how impressed was he with the throttling, and yet, after the brutal blow of a potentially season ending injury to star DE Aidan Hutchinson how do his Lions keep killing it on defense with his loss, and is their maybe a replacement out there in the vein of say Maxx Crosby (GOD PLEASE!!!!) or Myles Garrett who could step in and help the team out in Hutch's absence. This week the guys quick hit the news surrounding the Raiders after Devante Adams requested a trade and who are the favorites to land the star WR, then a quick breakdown of those red hot Detroit Tigers after making it into the playoffs, AND THEN it's all things NFL, breakdown the top 5 games of week 4, Staley recaps his Steelers first loss of the season after losing to the Colts in Indy and what is his level of concern, Stoner tackles his Lions after thier epic W vs those damn Seahawks and just how good does it feel to get that damn Seattle Monkey off his teams back.
