Colour Sergeant Brian Wood is a decorated war hero, having been awarded a Military Cross for successfully leading a close quarter (hand to hand combat) battle at Danny Boy in Iraq 2004.
He's also an author, podcaster, speaker and entrepreneur. And a truly inspiring leader.
Upon his return from Iraq, he and his team were subjected to allegations of war crimes and 5 years of scrutiny in the Al-Sweady Inquiry, which resulted in total exoneration and the striking off of lead lawyer Phil Shiner on account of his conduct in pursuing the claims.
Brian ("Woody") wrote eloquently about his ordeal, and that of his team, in his Sunday Times Bestseller, "Double Crossed". I highly recommend reading it.

Whilst at BRIT School he and two friends started Mandem on the Wall, a popular YouTube channel, featuring three guys sitting on the wall talking about their experiences.
He then went on to co-found Wall of Comedy, a platform for comedians to perform and grow their audiences.
While this was going on, Percy had numerous TV and film roles, including Wizards v Aliens, Innocents, Casualty and many others.
His company has helped Footasylum grow their audience 5000%, and he's now been commissioned by Channel 4 as one of their key production houses.
The Wall of Comedy is a new type of creative production giving new artists their chance to grow, producing original content for broadcast, and helping brands build new audiences.
Percy is truly an all rounder - actor, producer and entrepreneur rolled into one.

Vicki Anstey shot to fame as a finalist in Channel 4's "Who Dares Wins", a gruelling test of physical and mental toughness as recruits are put through their paces in real SAS selection exercises in the Chilean Andes. She's also the founder of Barreworks, a physical training method based on the strength exercises of professional ballet dancers.
Vicki is now preparing for her next challenge: "The Great Pacific Race" where she and 3 other women will attempt to break the world record for rowing from SanFrancisco to Hawaii, a 4000 km stretch, unaided. They are taking sponsorship pledges now - link below.
Vicki is an inspiring example of dreaming big, and pushing your personal limits, physically, mentally and in business. She refers to herself and her fellow Pacific Ocean rowers as "ordinary women". Yet what she has achieved is extraordinary. Her underlying message is that ordinary people can do extraordinary things by emnbracing and overcoming their fears.

Kwazi Cort is a British Rapper from Mitcham in South London. He's grown up in a harsh and sometimes unforgiving, poor area, but with good parents and a positive mental attitude is building a new life of hope and creativity.
He's a great role model and immense talent. One of the first times I met Kwazi, he asked to borrow the sound system in my car to warm up for a rap video he was about to film. He then proceeded to pull random tracks and freestyle over the top of them.
I cannot find the words to describe how impressive this was. He's now well on his way to becoming the next big name in British rap with a unique fusion that mixes rock and rap together in a soulful and funky mash up.
This is a refreshingly honest account of where he came from and what has driven him to strive for more.
Inspired by Kwazi's story and quest, shortly after filming this in September 2019, I started my record label, Big Community Records, and signed Kwazi. In July we released his debut Grock (Grime / Rock) album, "Blood on the English Carpet. Check it out!

Adejare Doherty and I met at House Festival in 2019.
His company provided all the disposable plates for the event. He makes these from fallen palm leaves, they are fully biodegradable and you can even feed them to cows.
The story that led him there is fascinating, taking him from Nigeria, to India, to the UK, on a personal journey that included time as a Barrister, magazine publisher, Dragon's Den finalist and much more.
I hope you enjoy listening to Adejare's story as much as I did.
