Deana Forbes (known as Miss Forbes in the school world) is a mother, teacher, coach and entrepreneur. Her testimony of going from a D1 track star to full time mother has inspired many. As a master social studies teacher in the Northern Virginia area, Deana has found a passion for teaching honest and hard Black history in a way that engages students.
