Various Podcasts on a variety of topics that impact us from a family level to a wider community perspective. I discuss topics that many find both enlightening and tough to discuss but my aim is to help those in our inner community and global world to heal from matters we perhaps don't discuss out loud with others or seek guidance or support from professional experts. Raise Your Vibes aims to support, encourage and helps others to grow and heal to become a better individual.I'm a Published Author, Teacher of English and Special Educational Needs, a trained counsellor and Healer in training.

How many of us sit in silence because we enjoy it, or because we want peace? Do we know how to enjoy the silence around us or do we find it difficult to be at peace within ourselves let alone around us? How do we even use this solitude time to enjoy our own comforts without the attachment to modern technology or the pressures of a job etc around us? Do we even know how to be at peace within and outside ourselves?
Many of us in the modern world we live in today find it increasingly difficult to 'switch off' and 'just be'. I discuss the idea of solitude in some depth whilst travelling through China.

Subscriber-only episode
Welcome to the very first exclusive subscriber podcast episode for Raise Your Vibes. Thank you for subscribing.
In our first episode, I discuss at length the very tricky and challenging circumstances of a difficult marriage, how it became difficult, how I tried to endure it and finally what made me leave it. I also discuss how I tried to rebuild my life but despite various setbacks, a very toxic ex-partner would not let me be in peace - not just him but the whole 'gang' of relatives.
I hope this helps others in a similar situation as it has taken me years to be able to tell my 'truth' not the 'narrative'...my truth and that is something we all should voice but often it is done in very difficult circumstances.
Love, peace and respect to all.
Blessings,
Miriam Khan

This podcast comes with a Trigger warning as it may be sensitive for some listeners.
When we are born we come with history. History of our generational family members and ancestors. We are somewhat proud of some of their achievements and goals but what we never perhaps discuss is some of the shame and trauma situations they have endured and we in turn inherit. There are trauma situations that they have sadly gone through and not spoken about or kept hidden for numerous generations till one day someone in the ancestral timeline decides to face; rather than bury it.
It is not easy to be the 'black sheep' of the family. The 'ostracised' one. The 'crazy' one. the one that does not bow to the rules but instead goes on a self-healing journey within to heal the traumas from their past in order to help the family lineage to be finally at ease. But all of this requires in-depth self-reflection and breaking of numerous forged old patterns that even we don't realise we hold, but we certainly do; either innately or inherently.
When we heal within; we heal all parts of our timeline. We help those in the spirit world who have been helping us along the way to progress rather than hinder. We help those who never spoke of their trauma heal once and for all.
Blessings and healing for all impacted by this topic.

When we cut out a friendship or romantic part of our life the other individual doesn't like the fact that we put boundaries in place and have now 'cast them out'. We often do this to protect our mental health and to preserve our own guards as their energy may no longer resonate with ours or to put it simply; they're toxic.
When we stand back and look after ourselves these 'exes' whether it be an ex-friend or more will often cyber stalk us. A lot of the time it is because they miss our supply of energy and are curious as to what we are doing. Some cyberstalkers can just like our posts on social media but there are others who despite blocking and cutting out of our lives persistently like to attack, harass or try to or succeed in making our lives a misery. So what can we do about this as it happens to us? This is the topic of today's podcast and hopefully, it helps someone out there going through a similar situation.

What exactly is 'Shadow work'? What does it evolve? How does it help us learn about our core self? How can it help us deal with post-traumatic events in our lives? How can it help us deal with the subconscious facts we often hide from ourselves? How can it help us overall be a better person not for society but for ourselves? What are the steps involved in doing shadow work correctly?
These are some of the questions I focus on in this podcast as Shadow work is something I personally have gone through and continue to go through to become a better human being and spiritual person in this ever-evolving world that we live in.
This podcast may support others out there if life has gotten tough and we need to go back into hermit mode to re-learn about ourselves and help ourselves to evolve for the better in our life journeys.

With so many catastrophic events occurring in our world, many of us have either chosen to remain silent due to the horrific things we have sadly witnessed or have remained silent out of fear of losing our jobs or being labelled as racist or being on the wrong side of history. But isn't the right side of history meant to be on the side of justice? Doing what's right for example? And how do we know what is actually the right side of justice when there is so much propaganda out there drowning us with misinformation?
Those of us who have stood up for Palestine have done so proudly, and at times it has cost us in many various ways, but no journey towards doing the right thing is without sacrifice is it?
I discuss in some length ways in which we can help offer our support to Palestine.

So many of us in our lives accept very little from the ones we like, adore, appreciate and even 'love'. This is called 'breadcrumbs' or the act of 'breadcrumbing', but what does that actually mean?
Breadcrumbing is the act of little attention, little actions and very little acts of 'real love' or interest but as an individual we become hooked or addicted to receiving or accepting so little in return in our relationships or even friendships.
So how do we recognise what 'breadcrumbing is? How do we seek help to spot the things we are doing to 'accept' that as being aceptable behaviour? How do we recover and heal from it so that we realise our own self-worth and self-love?
These are the topics I discuss in today's important podcast.
Wishing all a blessed healing journey.

Many of us sometimes have to face old patterns of our behaviour and it's often difficult to shred or remove that 'old skin' that has kept us trapped or kept us in a particular trauma bond or pattern without us realising it. We think we have done the hard work and difficult work of healing and often we do either on a temporary basis or a permanent basis but alas there are still parts of that trauma or pain or pattern that lingers on.
In this podcast I delve into this deep topic as well as the spiritual journey of shadow work, inner child work and re-awakening as well as awakening.
Blessings to those going through this big vibrational shift; may we come out the other side fully healed.

Trigger Warning:
This podcast may trigger some individuals as it discusses sensitive topics. Please seek professional help and understand that you are not on your own. There are so many of us that talk about the topic of 'shame' and from culture to culture this very notion or understanding of what shame is will vary. But what happens when that notion of shame stems from unresolved or undisclosed trauma or broken relationships where the other individual has caused us some form of shame that we dare not discuss or disclose due to fear of rejection, pain, humiliation or not being believed? Should we be the ones carrying this 'shame' when really, we are not the ones at 'fault'? What can we do to change this?
These are the sensitive topics that I will be discussing in today's podcast. If you are impacted by this or know anyone that is please help them to seek professional guidance.
Wishing you a healthy road to recovery and mental health and well being.

Do you have someone in your life who always seems to be depleting your energy and no matter what you do, you always end up drained, fatigued and at a loss as to why that might be? Perhaps you are in the early stages of recognising the signs but can't quite put your finger on what you're noticing, but clearly, there is something a bit off with this friendship or relationship, but what is it?
It could simply be that this individual is an energy vampire and you were not aware of it. So what is an energy vampire? What are the characteristics of such a person? How do we deal with them if they are in our lives and how can we tactfully remove ourselves away from them?

When entering a relationship whether it is a marriage or a long-term serious relationship it goes without saying that we make bonds of trust and mutual respect in our relationship journey. But what happens when one of us cheats on the other? Why does the individual cheat? What impact does this have on the other person when they find out? How can they repair the relationship if they try? Or how does the other person move forward, grieve and then heal in order to move forward?
These are today's topics in the podcast today.

For many of us that believe in spiritual connections we have many types of relationships in our lives. We go through various friendships and partnerships that we either embrace or reject and some of us are inclined to label these relationships as different life lessons in our soul journey. We have karmic journeys, twin flame journeys and soul mates but what happens when we mistakingly assume that the person we are involved with is not our true love but in fact a false twin flame in disguise? How did we get so duped? Were there any signs that we missed and what can we do to heal from this situation once we 'wake up' and see them for who they truly are?

We all have various relationships in our life that either mould us, enhance us or break us. A narcissist is a catalyst in being an expert in 'breaking' people's souls, spirits, mental health and well-being. But what happens when that narcissist is a covert narcissist? One that studies you, one that goes out of their way to win you over but then bit, by bit, tries to take you down and destroy you over the time of your relationship?
What if you're the empath that they are either dating or are married to? What is your role in this relationship? How do you as an empath survive this ordeal and how do you heal fully and recover? How do you start again?
This is the topic of today's podcast.

On today's podcast show, I was delighted and excited to have a special guest Dr Shahd Alshammari on the show. I had recently come across her amazing and beautifully written work when she was invited into the school I work in to give a talk to senior students on various topics including her recently published work titled "Head Above Water" which was published in 2022.
Dr Shahd and I discuss in some depth how her love for Literature started but also some of the challenges and difficulties she faced in her young adult life as she found out that she was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis (MS). We discuss this aspect of her life in some depth and she reveals some of the obstacles and difficulties she faced but also overcame in time.
Currently, Dr Shahd infuses her past experiences to help her current students and the wider community overcome aspects of trauma and helps them to find some steps to recovery through writing and purging some of the troubled aspects of their lives. We discuss the importance of journalling and how it can help your mental health as well as helping the creative part of your brain!

On today's podcast I interview fellow author Bettina Wiethoff on our joint book adventure "She is Remarkable" with 27 other authors. Bettina explained how she embarked on a very difficult journey of divorce which led to a much-needed self-discovery and revelation of her true inner self-healing journey to her inner child and grounded her adult self further.
This is Bettina's very first published work titled "From Untruth to Truth" on page 130 of the book 'She is Remarkable'. She divulges in some depth on how her chapter helped not only herself but will also help many others on the journey of divorce and finding themselves again. An epiphany that many of us do not expect to find; but we sadly or gladly do in difficult times like this.
After her initial career in hospitality & event management and many years of extensive travel, Dubai-based personal development enthusiast Bettina Wiethoff felt it was time to share the knowledge she had gained on her inner self-discovery journey. Her never-ending curiosity to understand how human beings can operate at their best led her to study various techniques and ancient sciences such as mindfulness, yoga, Ayurveda, human design, numerology and meditation.
She is passionate about supporting her clients on their journey to their truest selves through Well-Being & Dharma Coaching. Her visionary mind believes that inner peace on individual levels is essential in order for global peace to be ever possible and that this is everyoneâs responsibility towards themselves and others including younger generations.

On today's podcast I interview fellow author Islam Kafi on our joint book adventure "She is Remarkable" with 27 other authors. Islam provides some in-depth and much-connected background to her newly founded path in life: academic coaching. We discuss her teaching background and what led her to coaching herself and others both within her community and globally.
Islam Kafi is an experienced Academic Life Coach, Coach Trainer, Mentor Coach, Course Facilitator and Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Assessor. Islam was the first certified Academic Coach in the region and has since founded the region's only ICF Accredited Academic Coach Training Program, Coaching Kinetics. She completed a 3-year round of service on the ICF Board of Directors (Saudi Chapter) as the Director of Knowledge and Community.
She runs her coaching practice while being a Coach Trainer and Mentor and the Program Director at her Course. She works with multiple stakeholders on the development of the coaching community in the MENA region while increasing Coaching Awareness in Academic Arenas.
Her chapter in 'She is Remarkable' is on page 88 and titled 'I Get it Now'. Islam provides deep insight as to what inspired her to get not only involved in the book but also her inspiration for her specific chapter which was very heart-touching I have to say.
Here are ways to contact Islam to find out more about the training she offers:

Do you ever notice how your energy or gut feeling changes when you are around certain people? Do you feel drained or energised by it? Do you do anything about it as and when it happens?
I discuss how we can protect our aura briefly and what we can do to help protect ourselves from the energy around us.
When dealing with trauma or with someone who is in a very conflicting situation which is clearly toxic or unhealthy we can all try to assist, support or help this person to leave their traumatic situation. Sometimes the person go back; they go back to the trauma, back to the pain, back to the difficult and toxic situation which they have desperately tried to leave. Sometimes this is due to family conflicts, financial restraints or ties or simply because they cannot break or do not want to break the pattern of trauma that they find themselves in.
For the person supporting them; the love can go on endlessly no matter how exhausting it can be seeing a loved one go through that turmoil or in some cases the unconditional love has  got to stop and those helping have to walk away for good. This isn't an easy decision to make but we often have to do what is right for our peace of mind if we are the one deciding to stop supporting them and cut ties once and for all.
Whatever the situation happens to be just know that sometimes the difficult reality is that we cannot help everyone...and not everyone we know really wants to leave their situation, we have to let them be and move on as harsh as that might sound.
Trauma for any of us is understandably something which takes a long time to recover from whether it is psychological, emotional, physical or mental trauma. It sadly comes in many forms.Â
We often don't realise the true and deep impact of such a traumatic incident in our life till it happens to us. We can take years to recover; sometimes not fully recovering at all. Many people around us; family and friends try to help us along the way but the person we need the most to help us fully recover is ourselves and often that's the hard part of the journey. We struggle to recognise that we need help; sometimes we are still 'trapped in a trauma state' not fully recognising that we have actually left the place that caused us trauma in the first place.Â
It might often need a stranger to fully pull us out of the bear trap that we have unconsciously an subconsciously trapped ourselves in.Â
This podcast is a reminder for many who still find themselves trapped in past trauma; past pain; past hurt and unable to move 'forward'. I hope and pray you realise your worth and your are able to start 'living' again.Â
Big Blessings.

Today's podcast is with the legendary, motivational and inspiring young man Mohammad Al-Bahar; a global citizen and spiritual guy who discusses in some depth his very early diagnosis with diabetes. We discuss in detail some of the mental health issues that arose due to this especially as an ethnic minority male. Mohammad like many other individuals struggled to cope with accepting his diagnosis and we discuss how he moved past this taboo subject in his culture and traditions of his community and how he has managed his condition in his adulthood life. This is certainly a chapter of Mohammad's life that many people can relate to and will find immensley inspirational.
Mohammad has used this life situation to not only help himself but also to help serve others. He has made massive changes within and outside of his local community. Mohammad has been the driving force to change concepts about diabetes within and outside of the Muslim community and has networked with various individuals of all ages worldwide to raise both awareness and also bring awareness to others about living with diabetes.
Mohammad has travelled the world and focused on showing individuals how to live beyond your limitations and not allow a medical condition like diabetes hold you back; this is understandably very inspirational and life changing for many to witness.
Mohammad is an icon too many globally and internationally. He is a beacon of hope and wonder and I am sure that Mohammad is bound to go onto do amazing things with his life and I am sure we will all be witness to the great success he will bring to his life and the lives of many others.
Thank you ever so much Mohammad for sharing your journey with us all.
Blessings and Peace.

On today's show I am pleased to have the amazing and very talented guest Mayyar Aswad. Mayyar is a local artist in Kuwait who has gone from strength to strength on his difficult but rewarding journey of finding himself as an artist. Mayyar has submerged himself into discovering and culminating his artistic flair and ambience of his unique artistic viewpoint and creativity and boldly shared it with the world.
We both discussed the modern day challenges of our personal lives and how it has moulded us to become more assertive and find ourselves again as we strip back the layers that society, our family and community have placed upon us. We talk in some depth about mental health; the challenges young males and in particular young budding artists face as we finally tell the world that this is 'us'. This is our 'art'!
We are the artist of our dreams....we are the captain of our own ships as we steer our inclusive art and minds in a particular direction to pursue our dreams and make them a reality.
We discuss the huge challenges that we both faced as artists and how Mayyar has used that dark place of challenging life circumstances to come out and blossom as an amazing artist that has not only helped himself; but also others around him.
Mayyar and I discuss the impact of life lessons as well as our spiritual and life lessons that we have faced when trying to discover our true path in life.
Mayyar is now successfully running some amazing projects including some workshops which you can become involved in by clicking below to get involved:

Many of us hold onto fear of the unknown or we try to limit our beliefs or abilities either due to a lack of self confidence or from the rejection or criticism of others which have sadly left an imprint on our minds, hearts and soul!Â
I say...be fearless and be limitless and go and seek your future by trying out new things! As Tupac would say 'Holler if you hear me!'
Stay blessed folks!

Sadly many of us have had quite the emotional rollercoaster style relationship with a narcissist but when it ends there is still emotional turmoil because they are experts at love bombing us, gaslighting us or using our emotions to one way or another 'persuade' us to go back to them. it can be very difficult to totally move forward after this draining experience and some of us 'lucky ones' fund we are able to do this and slowly heal.
However, just as feel we are really healing or moving forward with our lives along the narcissist comes back when we least expect them to make their moves. Have we grown stronger emotionally and mentally to resist their 'charms'? Have we learnt to put ourselves first? Have we learnt to keep saying that word 'no' because we know we deserve so much better and deserve to heal fully and not partially?
I discuss all of the above and how to help yourself move forward on your journey of healing.
One of my most downloaded Podcasts has been the one relating to a toxic sibling which we all know can be very difficult thing to deal with but what happens when that toxic sibling decides to get back in touch when you have made it clear that you don't want them to do so?
How do we deal with this? What strategies can we use to overcome any difficulties that may arise due to this? How can we move forward or heal from any issues that may arise ?
These are just some of the issues I discuss in today's podcast.
When we are deeply involved in our friendships, close friendship circles or even in our close, loving relationships we sometimes need to take 'a break' this might be due to personal circumstances such as bereavement, loss, changes in jobs, changes in our careers or life might have just got a tad too hectic and stressful that we need a 'time out' from our issues and from people. Sometimes we just need time to reassess the situation and at times we need to just work on ourselves; either way the time apart can be difficult for some of our inner circle of close loved ones to understand.
I discuss the above issues in today's podcast and explore these topics in depth.
In various stages of a relationship we all face that anxiety, heart fleeting moments or butterflies of getting to know somebody and make a decision as to whether we wish to pursue some form of relationship with them. But often this can also be quite troubling too! Sometimes when we desire somebody or find them attractive or have feelings for them we might find ourselves in various stages of chasing, ghosting, running or facing that relationship. We sometimes might not recognise that we do the above stages in our relationships but we are all guilty of some of these stages one way or another.Â
What happens to us when we are on the receiving end of the above stages though? Why are we ghosted when we simply like someone or express how we feel? How can we stop chasing, or in fact why are we chasing? Why is the person we like running away from us and what can we do about it?
These are some of the issues I discuss in my podcast today. Hopefully it helps somebody out there who is confused about what is happening and how to deal with it hopefully in the right way.
**In life many things will happen that test our patience and our mindset as well as skills set. Often we try to persevere as adults for things we think we need or want or desire in our lives. This can range from job promotions to moving to another city or country or chasing or ending a relationship that we feel is right for us. But what happens when the things we want don't flow correctly? What happens when we come across obstacle after obstacle and face hardships or frustrations because in the grand scheme of things we don't realise those things we desire or yearn for are not actually predestined or determined for us? What if we are meant to surrender our id, ego, our yearning to hold on and instead simply let go and let things be?
In today's podcast I discuss how frustrating, challenging but also the rewarding aspect of surrendering part of our life journey can be when we simply learn to let go.
It's not an easy journey by the way...
But one that can be very fruitful in the end.**
As the end of 2021 approaches I reflect on some of the key milestones I and others around me faced. I look back on some of the changes we had to face; some were rather painful and difficult and others were leading to paths of wisdom and change. As we all face 2022 a year of growth and wisdom it's important to have some retrospection on the key events that either broke us or changed us for the better or worse; naturally this is all about our inner perception of how we view our personal narrative of life.
I personally hope that 2022 is a year of harmony, growth, change and wisdom for many.
Blessings, peace and prosperity for the year ahead.

In this second podcast with fellow author Allison K. Dagney who was previously on Raise Your Vibes discussing her novel "When Tears Leave Scars" we discuss in length some of the real issues that many people who try to leave a traumatic and difficult relationship with either an abuser or a Narcissist find themselves struggling with. I personally address some of these issues in my own book ''Diary of Abuse by a Loved One''.
We both reflect on our own personal experiences, how we helped others and how we are continuing to help others to find the strength, love, passion and insight to start leaving a very difficult situation. We both offer some helpful strategies and coping methods to help you find a solution; some might not suit everybody...but it's a start to recovery.
Voicing your journey of self-love to recovery....saying you need help and actually finding the courage to leave this difficult journey is often the biggest hurdle you can face.
Should you find yourself needing help or support, both Allison and I are happy to listen and help coach or support you in whichever way we can.

We have all seen the various headline news concerning Afghanistan but why is it that so many of us remain silent? Why are we not supporting them further after the tragic unfolding of events that have occurred over the last two months?Â
Itâs quite apparent that the female population is suffering the most, but what can we do to help support these future mothers, aunts, female doctors, lawyers and the rest of the roles that society desperately needs but May no longer see again if the Taliban continues to exist!Â
The famous Afghanistani singer Aryanna Syeed has recently shared a great me too movement which might be a great game changer.Â

Many of us feel overwhelmed at times or attacked by our inner or outer circle. We often forget to ground ourselves or meditate to protect ourselves or those we love. Repeat these affirmations of protection to help you feel grounded, safe and secure.Â
Blessings.Â

Blessings and peace.
In a world where we face rejection on a daily basis whether itâs through friendships or relationships that have ended or perhaps you didnât get that job promotion or shiny new sports car you dreamed of. Do you turn bitter about it or do you improve your skill set and mindset and do better? Which personality type drives you and why? How can you turn a negative outcome into a positive one and flourish for the better?Â
Tune in to my podcast to find out!Â
In a world of fakes, wannabes and egotistical personalities itâs often very hard to stay true to who you are or who you want to truly be. The world and people around us often break us, remold us, shakes us, break us and we might find ourselves morphing into something we really are not purely so that we are accepted. So how do we rise above this? How do we not fall into this trap? How can we stay true to our character and who we really are so we can shine amongst our community and our world?Â
Tune in to find out!Â
Blessings and peace.Â
We all have a toxic or narcissistic family or relative somewhere. But what happens when that person gaslights and interferes or worse case scenario damages or breaks up your close friendship? What do you do? How do you cope? How do you try to fix things or do you walk away? I provide some insight into this difficult topic that many can relate to on a personal level.Â
This is the third type of meditation series Iâve created for gaining and regaining our self-power and belief in ourself. Keep repeating these power mantras and power affirmations to support and strengthen our self belief in ourselves.Â
Blessings.Â
This is the second meditation podcast Iâve completed as the first one was very popular. Listen in on how to help yourself to be positive and give yourself positive affirmations of love especially if youâve having a bad day or just need a bit of ground work and boost to your heart chakras.Â
Blessings đđ˝
In todayâs busy world itâs difficult to meditate or remove ourselves from worry, stress or anxiety so I created this lovely mindfulness affirmation podcast with music by yours truly.Â
Blessings and peace.Â
Enjoy your meditation time.Â
Thereâs a famous saying of :
âYou were born to stand out and not fit inâ
For many of us thatâs really true but at what cost? We can lose our peace, our family ties our friends and so on for not following the crowd! Should we sacrifice so much? Or should we be proud of the fact that we go against societal norms?Â
These are just some of the issues I discuss in todayâs podcast on this very important topic.Â
As we wake up to another blessed day in August 2021 some of us sadly are not here due to famine, hunger, bombs being blasted away on their homelands, some people are still having their homes taken away from them due to a dictatorship regime, some are displaced from their homes as they are aware of the imminent danger ahead as a terrorist coup takes over....others are trying to regain what life they can from the fragments of an earthquake.
Despite Covid still lingering over our lives our humanity seems to be forgotten. Some of us are 'blind' or can't 'see' or 'hear' or let alone acknowledge what is happening in our world because we simply think it's someone else's problem....well it's not!
Tune in to see how we can be a better citizen to help those countries and places in much need.
If you're able to help please see the link to be more involved.
Blessings and healing to our world.
A concerned citizen of planet earth.

When certain events or trauma happen to us in the past it can certainly leave a huge stigma and scar. Often we find it very difficult as the victim to move past this trauma thatâs changed us forever; but for some of us we learn to face the past head on and deal with it no matter how much time has elapsed or perhaps hindered our progress of moving forward.Â
I admire those people who find the strength and courage to face the past, to look back at trauma and learn to forgive those who have hurt us beyond words imaginable. We often donât realise it but we have a ripple effect to those around us and we strengthen not only ourselves but our friends and loved ones forever by dealing with some ghosts of our past.Â
I discuss these issues in todayâs podcast and explore how some of us our learning to move forward from past pain and learning to let go and live in the here and now rather than in past trauma cycles.Â
Many of us will come across dark times or bad times in our lives. Some are temporary dark times and some last much longer than we expect. But who stays with us and supports us during these times? Who leave us when we need them the most? But why do we also push or reject those who support us the most through these difficult times?Â
These are some of the issues I discuss in todayâs podcast.Â
Blessings, healing, love and much appreciation to those out there helping those in their dark times to see the light again.Â
Have you ever got a point in your life where you feel life is pulling you in another direction but youâre not entirely sure which way to go? Do I go right ahead where thereâs stability ahead? Do I take a sharp right and take an exit? Do I do a u-turn and just start the whole process again?Â
All of us face these types of questions daily when it comes to our lives. The people around us influence our decisions; often in as a hinderance but sometimes as a support mechanism. But which one do we adhere to and listen and follow on our journey in life?Â
Tune into my podcast where I explore some of these topics today.Â
Meditation for everyone is likely to be different and will obviously have different impacts on each of us depending upon how we select to meditate. I give my personal views on how I mediate and how it helps me to grow, relax and be more grounded as a person and spiritual being.Â
How do you meditate?Â
What works for you?
Grief comes in all shapes and sizes. We feel grief when a loved one sadly dies, or grief when a relationship or marriage we were attached too sadly breaks down and dissolves. But what about the grief of our goals, dreams and ambition? What happens to that grief? How do we overcome those hurdles and turn it into a positive outcome? These are just some of the issues of grief I discuss in todayâs podcast.Â
We have so many dynamics to our personalities and our character that often we donât really focus on the deep hidden part of ourselves known as the âShadow Selfâ. What exactly does the âShadow Selfâ mean? How can it be a hinderance or a growth mechanism tool to our spiritual and moral growth?Â
These are just some of the topics I discuss in todayâs podcast.
Volunteering has many purposes. Some of us do it because we want to help our community, or our global family and some of us do it for the glamour and glitz! What is volunteering? How can it help you and those around you? Why should we give up âour timeâ to volunteer? Whatâs in it for us? How can it help us to be a better global citizen?Â
These are just some of the questions I reflect upon in todayâs podcast.Â
Itâs very concerning to wake up to widespread news in 2021 about the news demands that the Taliban has made. Various newspapers and news outlets have also expressed their dismay and outrage at some of the preposterous demands that they have made.Â
News Source recorded clippings from:Â

Over the last week there has been lots of racist slurs, abuse and offensive comments at three young iconic English Football players. The tirade of abuse upset, angered and distraught many; but what has been more disturbing is those who remained silent or let the abuse continue or even instigated in the first place!Â
I discuss my admiration for these â3 Lionsâ who represent the Multi-Cultural England we live in and raise a toast to seeing more talented and committed young males do more for our society and world than sadly the politicians who are in charge of running our country!Â
Big respect to: Marcus Rutherford MBE, Bukayo Saka and Jason Sancho.Â
Racism needs to 0-1-2-1 DO ONE!
I recently self published my third book âDiary of Abuse by a Loved Oneâ. It was by far one of the most challenging and difficult books Iâve written so far; but also one I hope that supports, encourages and motivates others in such difficult circumstances.
I discuss why I wrote this book and also read out some extracts from key characters I created.
I offer some guidance and support for people we might know that are in predicaments that my book describes.

Interview with fellow author Allison K. Dagney,
I interview fellow author Allison. K. Dagney on her amazing book 'When Tears Leave Scars". We discuss what made her write this difficult and emotional book of living with and leaving a narcissistic partner after a lengthy period of time. We discuss key moving events in her book that have been particularly difficult to face; let alone discuss so openly and publicly to help support others going through the same difficult and painful journey.
Both of us have written books with the intention to help others overcome some of the inner pain and anguish that many victims face at the hands of an abusive and narcissistic partner. Both of us are thankfully divorced now; but we will forever remember that painful journey of having to start living again and rebuilding your life again having endured either physical, mental, spiritual or financial abuse at the hands of an abusive or narcissistic partner.
We offer some strategies and some helpful tips on how to help you to recover, abstain or help yourself to move forward with your life. A journey that we both know is very difficult to do but life changing in many ways for those around us.
For anyone of that journey of leaving an abusive and narcissistic partner, both Allison and myself are here to help you through your recovery.

In the society we live in we will all know someone who has strayed from the path of âgoodâ to âbadâ. Many of these individuals turn the wrong way and unfortunately get themselves in trouble with the law and land themselves in jail. These are some of the questions I consider in my podcast; tune in to hear more and donât be shy to share your experiences or polite views on this topic.Â

Often we swallow our pride, our hearts, our ego, our real feelings in some circumstances and other times we watch others lead with their ego. What stops us from saying how we feel and why is it so very important to voice it to others without judgement being passed?Â
Why should we lead with light and love instead of fear and worry?Â
I discuss these issues in todayâs podcast.Â
Blessings to all. đđ˝

Often we are judged and criticised for going back into a clearly abusive relationship. Society, our friendship circles and friendship circles really donât help. They often keep us stuck there repeating the same pattern over and over again.Â

Separation, end of a relationship, divorce these are very difficult milestones a majority of us face in our lives. It makes it even more difficult when the individual makes it harder for us to leave or we are simply not supported.Â

We all need help from time to time. Often we struggle to ask for help let alone accept it. Sometimes people we think will support us let us down so we end up in a cycle of pain, rejection, anxiety and depression due to a never ending cycle of learning who we can and cannot trust. This often stops us seeking and acknowledging genuine help when itâs given.Â
Tune in on some support and guidance on this very topic.
In a world where the honest souls are downtrodden for negative energy how do we stay true to ourselves? How do we stay unswayed by the negativity of other peopleâs hidden agendas and ill gotten games? How do we learn to be or even stay resilient when the people around us want us silenced and not speaking our truths.Â
I provide some personal experiences of this and give you some affirmations to help you overcome that blocked throat chakra.Â
May you find the strength and resilience to stay strong and affirmed in your beliefs. May you overcome the negativity surrounding you and may you find peace in a world that wishes they had extinguished your flames.
Life will often pull us all in many directions and often we really donât know which way to go! We will be conflicted with what we think is best for us but often we donât surrender to our faith or belief system or religion that is guiding us that all will be well. It is often the ego that leads and it is something that frilly has to be silenced within us so we can be at peace with what lies ahead of us.Â
Listen to my podcast show where I help you empower yourselves.Â
Blessings, peace and wisdom.
We all have break ups. Some of them are amicable and some are not. Itâs the latter ones that try to destroy us. They leave us in anguish and pain. Just as we are trying to rebuild our lives and ourselves along comes the ex and puts us right back into our past situation and trauma.Â
What can we do to help ourselves move forward? How can we help forge a better relationship with ourselves? How can we help ourselves to grow and not break?
Tune in and get some help to allow yourselves to heal.Â
Blessings and love â¤ď¸ to those who need it. You got this! đđ˝

Many people have dealt with narcissistic people whether it is through friends, partners and loved ones. We often deal with lots of people along our paths who open our eyes to pain, trauma, failed and broken relationships which are often toxic. Sometimes we stay in these relationships because we think it is the right things for us to do, but often we let go of ourselves in the process. I teach you some basic skills on empowering yourselves and teaching yourself to self love and self care again upon your road to recovery.Â
Blessings and peace to anyone going through this journey.

Note: Long intro to help you detox from negative vibrations and energy.Â
Energy.... we feel it all around us from the people we meet to the friends and family we have by our side. But what happens when the energy is silenced, controlled or blocked by a narcissist who happens to be in our lives? How do we spot the signs? What can we do to move forward? Listen up to get some help on this very topic.
Letting go of pain, hurt, trauma or even rejection can make us burdensome and doesnât allow us to seek our potential, let alone live with a free mind and soul enjoying happier moments in life. Instead we are often conditioned to hold onto resentment and pain. We hold onto our deep rooted pain as if it was a heavy anchor weighing us down to the depths of despair instead of letting it be a light feather... we can only do that when we forgive and move forward with our lives.Â

In our daily lives and relationships we often go into trauma mode and bury pain deep within us rather than dealing with it at the time. Often this is due to our preconditioned patterns of behaviour or our coping strategies for trauma. The hardest and bravest thing we can do to heal ourselves though is to face our pain, grieve, let it out but more importantlyÂ
seek help so that we can piece our lives back together and heal.Â
Sending blessings and recovery to anyone going through this. đđ˝

We all go through life with a select number of friends or a whole network of friendships that serve different purposes to our needs and wants at a certain time in our lives. But what happens when that friend stabs you in the back or betrays you? Do you accept their betrayal or end the friendship? Do you realise the friend is no longer a friend, but a frenemy?
Many of us find it hard to ask for help. Often our friends have let us down perhaps, or we just are shy and lack the skills or guts to ask for much needed help in difficult times. Often this can lead to a mixture of emotions that we keep bottled inside... once we learn how to ask for help and who to ask for help things can be made easier for us but obviously it all depends upon the circle of people we have asked doesnât it?
Have you repeated the same pattern of behaviour in friendships and relationships and not realised that youâre repeating the same mode of behaviour but yet expect different results? Can you spot or realise what youâre doing and why youâre doing it to yourself? How can you move forward in your life and break free from âbad habitsâ?
In all aspects of life we are often labelled and ostracised for not following or being part of a community. This could be for various reasons out of our control or could be due to some individuals within that community who work effortlessly and tirelessly to ensure that we remain on the outside. But why is that? What could they possibly gain and how do we overcome that?

Many of you be be aware that despite teachers and students working incredibly hard over the difficult situation that the Corona endemic has created on all of our lives, vital grades were changed due to an unfair post code lottery algorithm created by a Tory government in the UK who clearly want to divide and conquer much further.Â
Itâs sad in these times that teachers yet again face the backlash of not having their professional judgements that they have had to tirelessly support for their students to get the grades that they have worked for over the last two years.Â
I discuss the faulty system and what âexpectedâ grades and âpredictedâ grades mean because itâs apparent many individuals are under the assumption teachers just select a grade that pops into their head! If only... it was that simple!Â
Well done to all the heartbroken students who protested and stood up and made a difference in getting the decision changed.Â
âEducation, Education, Educationâ was once stated by dare I say it Tony Blair... the reality is as Pink Floyd states:Â
â All in all All its just another brick in the wall,Â
All in all you're just another brick in the wallâ .

We all have various family units and Iâm sure we all have experience with friction and tension within those family units when siblings simply just donât get on with each other for various reasons.Â
Perhaps you can relate? Perhaps you just arenât sure why they are so toxic or perhaps youâre the one being toxic to them?Â
Either way, I discuss some of the issues surrounding this issue and look at possible solutions for some of the scenarios that can occur because of it.
Please note this podcast discusses topics that for some individuals might be triggers for any past or unresolved trauma. If that is the case, then please seek the appropriate help and guidance needed from your local authority or local counselling team. Â
All of us can relate to the term âfixerâ and needing to âfixâ in our key relationships, but what is the real deep root to these titles, and how do we remedy ourselves to move forward and empower ourselves to have healthier relationships with ourselves and others?
Homelessness is a huge issue in all of our societies no matter the socio-economic background, race, ethnicity, education or job status that you might have.Â
It can happen to any one of us at any given time.Â
I share my personal experiences with having gone through this situation in my younger years and discuss some of the changes happening now in 2020 to help combat this issue to support the âinvisibleâ people in our community who this highly impacts on a day to day basis.
Another update on the Kanye West running for President situation in the United States of Americaâs. Presently there seems to be a more bizarre and confusing agenda to his campaign: itâs the Kanye, Kanye, Kanye show and not about the people he should be representing as a future president. Iâm also deeply concerned about his mental health issues which clearly need to be addressed pronto.
All of us have faced various life changing and growing concepts of what a family means. I reflect upon my own experiences of the word âfamilyâ and discuss how that has changed, grown and evolved in 2020.Â
Perhaps you can relate?
Often we feel trapped in past cycles, why is that? Why do we cling to these patterns of behaviour that clearly donât work? Why do we not look at âfixing ourselvesâ? Or learn to forgive ourselves and others? This podcast explores some of those issues
With the growing number of psychological and counselling issues arising from Body Dysmorphia I discuss why that might be the case and what we as a society or individual perhaps can do about it.
A discussion on how Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Learning Difficulties has changed through my personal experience, work experience and life experience.
There has been a huge rise in the number of sexual harassment cases being reported worldwide. Why has there been such an increase in numbers? What can we do to help re-educate people so that this is reduced? How can we protect or inform those people within our community that are the most vulnerable? How can we as a community, world ensure we abide by laws to protect the most vulnerable?
A discussion on the news of Kanye West running for presidency of the 2020 American elections.
With lots of things happening in the world right now there is an increase sadly in the number of male suicide rates occurring. I offer some advice and guidance and look at why this is unfortunately happening.
