In this article, we explore the profound significance of family prayer and the importance of having a prayer altar in the home. Family prayer strengthens bonds among family members, nurtures spiritual growth, and creates a safe space for sharing testimonies and prayer requests. It serves as a powerful shield against the challenges families face in today's world. The father's leadership plays a crucial role, while the mother's nurturing spirit and children's innocence contribute to the altar's impact. The family prayer altar fosters forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation. It draws the family closer to God, cultivates gratitude, and provides strength during difficult times. Starting a family prayer altar today can transform your family's spiritual journey and lead to a deeper connection with God.

Fathers who are less forgiving tended to have more depressed or angry moods, which in turn result in lower-quality parenting. Why fathers who are more forgiving will relate better to their children, which is related to higher-quality parenting. This is also true for mothers.

As fathers, we are called to show our children how to follow God's plan for their lives. This is where it all begins - when children see how their fathers live out the teachings of Christ through their lives.

KEY VERSE: Our enemies have no reason to gloat over us. We have fallen, but we will rise again. We are in darkness now, but the Lord will give us light (Micah 7:8 GNT)
Learn to persevere no matter the number of years it may take to get results, for every delay buys us an equal amount of time. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr; ‘We must accept finite disappointment but never lose infinite hope.
This short phrase ‘Press on’ should be my mindset whenever I fall. Consider the postage stamp; it has the ability to stick to an envelope until it gets to its destination. This should be your attitude.

In the book of Psalm 82:6, The Bible reminded us that we are gods. If you are a god, then you must not die like a mortal man. Live like the god that you are, rise up and take charge of whatever GOD has put in you. No matter where this podcast meets you, it is time to take charge. Rick Godwin in his book “live full – die Empty” wrote “live to your full potential and when you die, die empty”. This is the first of the series on losing yourself into immortality. It is an extract from the book "Lose Yourself into Immortality" Available on Amazon Kindle and Paperback.

According to Wikipedia a father is the male parent of a child; and a parent is a ‘source’ or ‘origin’ of a smaller part. While in Ephesians 3:14-15 a father is a progenitor. In other words, a father gives identity to another human being which is the reason while in most countries, children bear the same last name as their fathers.
Besides, it must be noted that family begins with a father and a mother. Fathers are a vital element in a family and has been positioned by God to play a very important role in a child’s life and to the society.
A father is not just a sperm donor, he also plays the role of a Dad, which means he has to be present in the lives of the child physically, financially, morally, emotionally and spiritually.
Fathers, and fathers to be need to understand that paying child’s support is not enough or make you a father, a father has to be actively involve in the life of his children.
Fatherhood is a ministry. As a father you are called to be a minister to your children and to your wife. A father is the first teacher, friend and role model the child sees. In our next episodes we shall be digging deep into these components that makes a father.
But I want you to know that no other success can make for being a failure as a father. Every child deserves the love of a father and when given can make a lot of difference in a child’s life.
Today in our society, ‘boys’ are becoming fathers and ‘babies’ are becoming fathers without having an understanding of what it takes to be a father. Some of the ‘fathers’ in this category never had a father figure in their lives and therefore struggle to be a father figure to their innocent offspring. This blog was designed to help all needing a father figure in their lives and to teach how to be a good, awesome father.
Do you know that the absent of a father in a child’s live can greatly affect the child? The failures of fathers can be clearly seen in out society and around the world because of lack of father figures missing in homes. To fix our society, we have to address the issue of absent fathers, and teach young men to be fathers. We shall be expounding on what it takes to be a father in other posts.
Do you also know that an unstable father and one that lacks the knowledge of what it means to be a father will results in family instability and the results can be seen in a society where crime and violence prevail. Dr. Myles Munroe said “the number one crisis on earth is that male is lacking fatherhood”
In conclusion, the quality of a tress is determined by its roots. In same way the quality and strength of a family is determined by the father. Fathers are pivotal to the stability of the family and to the society at large. Visit my blog
