Katie Spain is a serial job quitter, wine writer and story collector. She joins Chris & Al on this episode of By The Glass to share her experience of growing up on a dairy farm and moving to London. She is The Advertiser's chief wine writer, a role last held by previous guest Tony Love, and has a new book; The Adelaide Central Market: Stories, People & Recipes, which collates the many stories of an Adelaide institution.

Chester Osborn is the chief winemaker at d'Arenberg. He's well-known in the wine industry and is easily recognisable through his colourful shirts and enthusiastic personality. It has been a big year for him and the winery since opening the d'Arenberg Cube in late 2017, and he joined Chris & Al on By The Glass to chat about the last 12 months, his family values & to blind-taste sparkling water.

But at the end of the day, it's all subjective, isn't it? Now meet Jane Ferarri. Her role as Yalumba's brand ambassador is what many would classify as "the best job in the world". Love is the food & wine writer for NewsCorp, which means he sees - and drinks - a lot of wine. He joined Chris & Ali on By The Glass to discuss his methods of tasting and reviewing wines, sometimes at 8am in the morning, and explained why Midnight Oil holds a dear place in his heart.
