On Oct 31, 2020 Chad and Rachel went to Frothy Monkey (125 5th Ave S, Franklin, TN 37064). We got a drip coffee, a Sweet Harvest Latte, a Blueberry-Lemon Scone, and a Chocolate Toffee Muffin. Outstanding thought: Not their best. Had a rough day. Takeaway: Give it another shot. Their thing is atmosphere and branding. Our rating: Overall: 3; Atmosphere: 3; Food: 2.5; Coffee: 3.5.
On June 27, 2020 Chad and Rachel H. went to Slow Hand Coffee + Bakeshop in East Nashville (1010 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206). They were joined by Rachel and Blake M. This was their experience. Rachel H's favorite was the blueberry muffin; Blake loved the New York crumb cake; Chad's favorites were the biscuit with cheese, egg, and bacon with the New York crumb cake, Rachel M's favorites were the blueberry muffin and the bacon and egg biscuit sandwich. Outstanding thought: We want a cookie next time. Takeaway: Come for the baked goods. Their thing is not the coffee but the food. Big thumbs up for the food!
