WHAT MUST WE DRINK? (Part 1)
Our Scripture reading is taken from the Gospel of John where JESUS said:
“Whoever DRINKS of this water will thirst again, but whoever DRINKS of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:13).
We give thanks be to the Almighty Creator and our heavenly Father for His goodness and for His wonderful works towards us. This is because He is the One who satisfied our longing “soul” and filled our hungry “soul” with His goodness (Psalm 107:8-9) through our LORD Jesus Christ whose “LOVE” for us is indescribable.
In our two (2) previous studies of (The True Living Bread & Water), we first learnt about “WHAT MUST WE EAT?” And secondly, after knowing what we are supposed to “EAT” which is the “Word” of God, we learnt another topic which we completed few days ago with the title “THE WORD OF GOD IS SWEET.” So I stated in the previous message that there is something very important which we must study in addition because it is a follow up to these two (2) previous topics. Without it our study will be incomplete and lacking.
So I hope you now understand the reason why our new study topic is “WHAT MUST WE DRINK?” Now let’s come to our daily lives. In our everyday living, we EAT food that is delicious and palatable to our taste. But the truth is that we can never survive with such a food without drinking water irrespective of its SWEETNESS. Therefore whenever we EAT our meals, whether it is breakfast, lunch or supper, we still need to DRINK water in order to feel comfortable and complete. It is the same spiritually.
If so, then “WHAT MUST WE DRINK” spiritually? To answer this question, we must know that there are two (2) types of DRINKS. We have:
-
DRINK as a beverage such as wine which includes champagnes and other drinks whether soft, alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

We also have water as a DRINK.
For this reason, most of the time when the dining table is set, it is not only FOOD that we find on the table to EAT, but we also take some wine or soft drink. In addition to this, we also DRINK water to help in the digestion of the FOOD and to quench our thirst. This is the same spiritually. Therefore when King David says before God that, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies...” (Psalm 23:5), we must understand.
Jesus Christ is the One who set the “table” before us, and He invited us and told us, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you EAT the flesh of the Son of Man and DRINK His blood, you have no life in you... For My flesh is FOOD indeed, and My blood is DRINK indeed” (John 6:53,55). So we can see clearly here that Jesus Himself set the spiritual dinning “table” before us, and He told us that if we really want to gain eternal life, then we have no other choice than to “EAT” His flesh and “DRINK” His blood.
But He did not end with that, but He also gave us the spiritual life-giving “water” to “DRINK.” That’s why He telling us in our Scripture reading that whoever “DRINKS” of the “water” that He will give him will never thirst, but it will become in him a fountain of “water” which springs up into “everlasting life.”
So concerning what we must “DRINK,” they are of two types. First of all we must “DRINK” the blood of Jesus after eating His flesh as FOOD through which He took away the sin of the world when He was baptized, and we must also “DRINK” the “living water” that He gave us. But what at all is this living “water” which Jesus gave us to “DRINK”?
This “water” refer to the “Holy Spirit.” Therefore it is written, “On that day, that great day of the FEAST, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him will receive;

That God separated the waters above the firmament from that below is important to understand. It's the difference between eternal life and death. It's a choice you need to make every day. The bread from heaven is the word of God which became flesh but the dust which Satan was cursed to eat is the lust of the flesh. Depending on your choice you can spend your life eating the flesh from above and live forever. Or eat the lust of your own flesh and end up in hell with satan. What God has divided let no man mix together.

In the Book of Genesis, the purpose for which God created us is contained. When architects design a building or artists draw a painting, they first conceive the work that would be completed in their minds before they actually begin working on their project. Just like this, our God also had our salvation of mankind in His mind even before He created the heavens and the earth, and He made Adam and Eve with this purpose in mind. And God needed to explain to us the domain of Heaven, which is not seen by our eyes of the flesh, by drawing an analogy to the domain of the earth that we can all see and understand. Even before the foundation of the world, God wanted to save mankind perfectly by giving the gospel of the water and the Spirit to everyone’s heart. So although all human beings were made out of dust, they must learn and know the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit to benefit their own souls. If people continue to live without knowing the dominion of Heaven, they will lose not only the things of the earth, but also everything that belongs to Heaven.

They said therefore among themselves. Lets us not tear it but cast lots for it. Who's it shall be that The scripture might be fulfilled which says they divided my garments among them and for my clothing they cast lots therefore the soldiers did These things. Now

Jesus was accused of calling himself the King of Israel. When asked by Pilate if he was the King of the Jews he answered with a question. In the accounts of the Passion of Jesus, the title King of the Jews is used on three occasions. So we can see the writer of the Gospel of Mark bearing witness of Jesus forcefully, testifying that He is God Himself and our Savior. That's why I would like to bear witness of this Jesus Christ manifested in the Gospel of Mark as much as possible, based on the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Where, then, is the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit revealed? This Truth of salvation is revealed in detail in the ministry of Jesus and the ministry of John the Baptist, the substance of the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Faith in the gospel of the water and the Spirit exerts a tremendous influence on other people's souls. The faith of this gospel enables every believer to come before the holy God, come under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Faith of the Apostles’ Creed - The Elementary Principles of CHRIST

For those of us who believe in God, the faith and beliefs of the Apostles provide us with important spiritual lessons. Their faith becomes a cherished treasure in our hearts, for they believed in the gospel that holds the righteousness of God. Therefore, we all need to have such faith urgently. Anyone who believes in Jesus must know the righteousness of God and believe in it, and he must spread it throughout the world, for only then can all others also come to know this righteousness and believe in it. And through the Word of God, all sinners must learn about His righteousness. And they must believe, for this is how they can take the righteousness of God by faith. Without the faith that allows one to attain God's righteousness from His Word, no one can accept the Lord as his Savior. We must now return to the true faith that knows and believes in the righteousness of God, for only those who believe in this righteousness of God can become His royal priests. The royal priests here refer to those who have received the remission of their sins by believing in God's righteousness. We can become true believers who have this true faith only by believing in God's righteousness and becoming His righteous people. It is more than possible for all of us to have the same faith that the Apostles had.

The Church keeps two sacraments commanded by Jesus. One is baptism, and the other is Holy Communion. We take part in Communion to ruminate on the gospel of Truth revealed through its bread and wine, in remembrance of this gospel. In the rite of Holy Communion, we eat the bread in remembrance of the flesh of Jesus, and drink the wine as the ceremony of His blood. As such, the real meaning of Holy Communion is to strengthen our faith in the Truth that Jesus has saved us from the sins of the world and given us everlasting life through His baptism and His death on the Cross. However, the problem is that almost all Christians take part in Holy Communion only formally, without even realizing what Jesus meant by the phrase, "My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed"(John 6:55). Therefore, within the gospel of the water and the Spirit, we need to once again focus on the meaning of Jesus' commandment to eat His flesh and drink His blood, and believe in it

Exegesis of Revelation 22:1-21. John was shown "a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal." The word water is used in this world as synonymous to life. The verse here tells us that this water of life flows in the New Heaven and Earth where the saints will live forever. Flowing from the throne of the Lamb, the river of the water of life moistens the Kingdom of Heaven and renews all things. In the phrase, "the throne of the Lamb," "the Lamb" refers to Jesus Christ, who has saved the mankind with the gospel of the water and the Spirit while on this earth.
The river of the living water flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb. The saints cannot help but praise the grace of God and of the Lamb in the new Kingdom of Heaven, for God has bestowed on them His grace of life. I am thankful that all the grace of this new life flows from the throne of the Lord.
Verse 2: In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
The parade of the Lord's wonderful blessings on His saints in Heaven continues, for the Word tells us here that the Lord will give us the tree of life on either side of the river and allow us to eat from its fruits. The tree of life, which bears twelve kinds of the fruits, yields its new fruits each month, bringing the strength of new life. It is also said here that its leaves are for the healing of the nations.
Because the grace that the Lord has bestowed on His saints is so great and grateful, all that we can do is just praise Him and God the Father. Now, all that the saints should do is not trying to do something valuable for the Lord on their own, but rather only praising the Lord with their thankful hearts for giving them the New Heaven and Earth and new life. I praise the Lord for making the saints' hearts to only shout, "Thank you, Lord! Hallelujah!"
Verse 3: And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
To the saints living in the Kingdom of Heaven, God has given the blessing of eliminating curse forever. That the throne of God and the Lamb is among the saints shows us that the saints who live in the Kingdom of Heaven place the Lamb at the center of their hearts. Therefore, the saints' hearts are always overflowing with beauty and truth, and their lives are filled with joy.
From the phrase, "His servants shall serve Him," we see that the saints living in the Kingdom of Heaven are clothed in the glory of serving the Lord very close to Him. The Kingdom of Heaven, where our Lord lives, is the most beautiful and splendid Kingdom.
As such, His servants who serve Him right next to the Lord can enjoy all His glory closely. This tells us that in the Kingdom of Heaven also, there would be the servants of the Lord. The word servant is a word that symbolizes lowliness, but the servants who can serve our glorious Lord close to Him are the most blessed in the Kingdom of Heaven also, for they are clothed in such an unspeakably great splendor. Those who have become the Lord's servants in the Kingdom of Heaven and on this earth also are the ones who would be clothed in all Heaven's glory and who are the happiest of all.

God thus gives His angel the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain, and commands him to begin the work of seizing and binding the Dragon in the Abyss.
