We take mental health serious so we have one of our school counselors on Mrs. Kimberly Huskey on talking about the importance of mental health through this crazy pandemic. What do you think that someone says about you behind your back? Is it good? Is it bad? Your image carries a lot of weight. As teenagers, we need to start paying attention to how others look at us. We learned some things about ourselves during this episode and we hope that you can self reflect on these same questions that we were asking ourselves.
Sometimes we need to encourage ourselves to let us know that we are somebody, today will be a good day, or we won't let nothing get to us today. Words of affirmation is so important in our growth as human beings and we need more of it. Laws of attraction is along the same lines.
This the episode for all of my seniors out there! This is a time for reflection and to see how far you have made it. Look at how much you have matured and grown over the years. We're taking a walk down memory lane to see how eStem has impacted our lives and how we will take eStem with us to our next chapter.
IT'S BLACK HISTORY MONTH!!!! We have returning guests, Skylar Dodson and Carson Issac, along with Mr. Clifford McCleod (teacher) and Kari Hills (student) to discuss the importance of Black History and why should it be apart of the curriculum being taught around the nation. This is so good, we may do a Part II. We'll have to see!
Peer Pressure doesn't always have to be a bad thing you know. You can also be pressured into something that you don't want to by the people that you love. We talk about these things on this episode along with our 2 guests Carson Issac and Carter Bishop.

Along with the eStem Podcast Team we have Ms. Virginia King, Madison Valley, Larissa Temple, and Skylar Dodson joining us to talk about the importance of school choice. What is confrontation? How do you deal with it? We have a special guest to talk about how to deal with it and how it's really not worth the struggle when you are dealing with someone else. It is ultimately up to us on how we want to react to someone else's action.
HAPPY NEAR YEAR!!!! We are back from our Winter Break and we are ELATED to be back! We're talking about New Year's resolutions. Are they important? Why are they important? Do we actually need a resolution and actually follow through those resolutions? We'll discuss these questions. Again, thank you guys so much for your support!
Believe it or not teenagers have a life too! Social media, choosing or keeping the wrong friends, not getting into the right school, teacher and parent expectations can be enhancers for the teenage stress.
