ABOUT THIS SERIES: Job hunters is a series about, you guessed it, job hunting. While I studied librarianship, job hunting and the psychology behind it fascinated me. I ended up volunteering with the ALIA Student and New Graduate Group putting together Resume Workshops and Interview Skills Seminars. Then when I became ALIA’s ACT State Manager in 2017, I found that skillset mighty helpful when encouraging student and new librarians in finding work opportunities.
Each recording in this series will take you on a journey of what I do when job hunting and leave you with three or four easy-to-remember takeaways. I’d like to thank the ALIA Student and New Graduates Group for taking me on because without them I would not have the knowledge I do today.
