Self Evaluation: What did you choose to do? What did you want? What were you thinking? What were the results of your choices? What effect did your choice have on the environment? How did your choice affect your relationship with Christ?
Discovering the forces at work inside of us is a basic exercise for the burning heart. How do we recognize what is going on inside us, and how do we tell if we need to do more exploration? Feeling helpless, being consumed by emotions, blame, addiction, and shame are all indicators that we need to up our inner awareness. God wants it, and He helps.
Getting faith and faithfulness mixed up is dangerous. Believers get burned out, or stuck in the "I don't care" mode. We explore how to cure the "I don't care" mindset, and encourage the believer lost in burnout.
Galatians 5 makes clear what a life in the Spirit of God looks like. So, it must be possible to reverse engineer a life with God's Spirit, or at least have a solid rubric for grading our decisions in life.
Godliness is not trying to be righteous. Godliness is the power of the Holy Spirit rewiring you. Righteousness is the effervescence of godliness.
