Pastor Blake Snapp delivered a sermon on the significance of Palm Sunday, urging the congregation to understand its importance. He used biblical references and personal stories to emphasize preparation, celebration, and lamentation during this period. The sermon highlighted Jesus' journey towards Jerusalem, empathized with his emotions, and encouraged believers to actively share the message of hope and salvation. Pastor Snapp challenged the congregation to embrace Palm Sunday fully, rather than rushing to Easter, and reminded them of the church's role in sending out hope and inviting others to experience the message of Christ.
Pastor Abi Sanchez delivers a sermon titled "Finishing Faith," expressing gratitude and highlighting the importance of persevering faith. Drawing from the biblical story of the blind man in Mark 8, he explores the concept of enduring faith through challenges and delays. Pastor Abi stresses the need for positive influences, moments of separation for deeper connection with God, and understanding that faith evolves in stages. He closes with a personal reflection on trusting in God's timing and a prayer for those navigating uncertainty and waiting.

"Generous in Heart" teaches that generosity is about having a willing heart, not just giving money. Using Tracy's story, he shows how even small acts of generosity can have a big impact. Following 2 Corinthians 9, he explains six guidelines of generosity, emphasizing that giving should be done cheerfully, purposefully, and as obedience to God. The sermon challenges the congregation to live a life of generosity in all aspects, rooted in gratitude for God's grace.

The reason we celebrate Pentecost is because it signifies the establishment of the church of Jesus Christ.

He’s either Lord of all or not at all. He is KING JESUS!
“As the scriptures say, ‘I am placing a cornerstone in Jerusalem, chosen for great honor, and anyone who trusts in Him will never be disgraced.’” 1 Peter 2:6, NLT
When we welcome the advice of the ungodly and spend time with the ungodly, eventually we will become just like them.
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.”
Psalms 1:1 NLT
Your past does not define you. That may be who you WERE, but it doesn’t have to be who you ARE.
“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus…who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.” Romans 8:1, 4, NLT
Will your standing for God be based on IF or will it be based on EVEN IF. We all need to determine ahead of time how we are going to behave so that we will be prepared to take our stand when facing the flames.
“But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”
Daniel 3:18 NLT
What an incredible way to kickoff our Uncompromised series on the book of Daniel! Pastor Trevor brought such a powerful word on discovering our identity in Christ.
Stay tuned as Pastor Blake continues the series!
Sin isn’t a place for us to remain nor is it something for us to rationalize. Do you want to be set free from sin? Invite Jesus into your life today and experience His freedom.
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”
Revelation 3:20 NLT
It’s time to go public with our faith in Jesus.
“Then he told me, ‘The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and hear him speak. For you are to be his witness, telling everyone what you have seen and heard. What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.’”
Acts 22:14-16 NLT
Are you allowing the circumstances of your life to determine the level of your joy or are you allowing that to be dictated by your connection to Jesus through His Holy Spirit?
“A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life—life in all its fullness.”
John 10:10 NCV
They say attitude is everything. When it comes to your attitude toward excellence, is God getting your first fruits or your leftovers?
Colossians 3:17, NLT “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.”
We can’t seek the crown without first submitting to the cross.
“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” John 20:26-28, NLT
Perhaps one of the greatest threats to people coming to know God and finding community within the church is a lack of authenticity. For authenticity to become our lifestyle, we must understand the things in our life that work in opposition to it, one of which is pride.
God has honored us by placing value on our lives. That’s why He sent Jesus to die on the cross in our place to begin with. But though we are an honored people, we often struggle with extending that same honor to others. As we examine our core value, “Honor is our Calling,” we take a look at what it means to show honor, to whom we are to show it, and how we are to go about it.
What are the things holding you back from embracing your mission? Does the fear of offense keep you from sharing your faith with those that are far from God but close to you? In part 2 of our DNA series we take a closer look at the Christwalk Church value “People are our Mission.”
Whether we realize it or not, we are all communicating something to those around us by the way we choose to live our lives. The question is “What?”. Today we dig in to the core values of Christwalk Church and take a look at what we can do to ensure that Jesus is our message.
At Christwalk Church, Jesus is our message and people are our mission. We hope these messages encourage you to live for something more!
As a result of our sinful nature, we tend to respond to God’s love in one of two ways: rebellion or religion. Today we take a look at the story of the Prodigal Son and learn the key to overcoming both rebellion and religion so that we can be in right relationship with the Father.

God loves us—whether we like it or not. But it’s up to us as to whether we take it or leave it. So let’s say we take it. Today we talk about what becomes evident in our lives when we choose to receive God’s love.

Everything in life has limits. Or does it? Today we learn about how God’s unlimited love offers us unlimited life. You don’t have to settle for what is limited; you can choose to live for something more!

Communion isn’t merely a religious ritual; rather, partaking in Christ’s death via His body (bread) and His blood (juice/wine) is not only central to faith in Jesus, it is what unites believers as the church—the very body of Jesus Christ. Today we take a look at the reason for communion within the church and the posture we are to take as we approach the table of the Lord.

What determines the trajectory of our lives? Is it physical attributes? A technical skillset? Natural gifts? Or is it possible that the trajectory of our lives can be determined by the way we answer one, simple question? This week, we take a look at the life of Simon Peter—an unlikely disciple whose choice to follow Jesus transformed him from an ordinary fisherman into an extraordinary leader.

We often have a tendency to try and force things to happen in our lives to better ensure that we get what we believe we deserve. A lot of times, this happens at the expense of others around us as we push ourselves to the forefront. But what if we chose a different route and simply trusted God for the outcome of our lives? Through the story of Jacob, we’ll see the tension that arises between living our way versus living God’s way and find out what can truly happen when we let God have full control.
At Christwalk Church, Jesus is our message and people are our mission. We hope these messages encourage you to live for something more!
In a culture that values instant gratification more and more each day it can often be difficult to wait on the Lord and His timing. Sometimes it seems like it’s taking forever for God’s promises to us to become fully realized, causing many of us to wonder if His promises will ever materialize at all. But the story of Abraham from the book of Genesis reminds us that God ALWAYS keep His promises and that we can find purpose in the process.
